#5 Kevin Owens vs Finn Balor

In a recent interview conducted just prior to the 2018 SummerSlam with CBS Sports, Kevin Owens spoke about his dream opponent for WrestleMania 35. He says if the booking was left to him, there's one man who he would face.

This man is non other than The Demon himself, Finn Balor. Balor and Owens are best friends in real life, and have both come a long way with regards the successes they have achieved in WWE.

The two have been able to put on great matches and enjoy good chemistry inside the squared circle. A match between them at The Biggest Event of the Year would be truly mouth-watering, and would have the fans at the edge of their seats.

Owens is currently penciled to feud with Bobby Lashley after he attacked Lashley from behind, and Power-Bombed him on the apron on Raw. Balor on the other hand, was defeated by Strowman after a Power-Slam this past Monday night on Raw, and has no clear direction at this point.

#4 John Cena vs Samoa Joe

John Cena and Samoa Joe were both together a part of WWE's then developmental territory OVW. They trained together and were good friends outside the ring, but rivals in it. Their careers are a complete opposite however. While Cena made it big in WWE, Joe took the longer route by passing through Ring of Honour and TNA Wrestling promotions.

The Poster Boy of the WWE vs The Submission Specialist of the indy scene, The Destroyer vs The Face that Runs The Place. This match practically sells itself. Both Cena and Joe are revered for their contributions to the business.

Everyone has been clamoring to see these heavyweights clash. What better stage to clash than at The Grand-daddy of Them All. Having these two behemoths face each other next year at WrestleMania would bolster the event in a big way. The time is indeed now for a WrestleMania clash between two of the biggest stars to ever step foot inside the squared circle.

#3 Undertaker vs AJ Styles

The Undertaker has proven his legendary status, and is seemingly not retiring just yet. Just when we all think he is done and dusted, he resurfaces back. The Dead Man is scheduled to meet Triple H at the Super Show-Down in Australia next month.

AJ Styles on the other hand, is embroiled in a feud with Samoa Joe on SmackDown. Styles and The Undertaker have never battled each other, but fans have been yearning to see the two wrestling legends locking horns for a very long time.

While Taker was making history in a WWE ring, The Phenomenal One had been making a name for himself in TNA, and that is why their paths never crossed. Styles is on record saying that he would love to have a dream match with The Undertaker.

He went further and said this would be a great learning experience for him. Taker appeared on Raw this past Monday night to confront Shawn Michaels. While a legendary encounter with AJ Styles is still not in the works, it would be interesting to see how WWE would ignite this feud should it be penciled for WrestleMania.

#2 Ronda Rousey vs Charlotte Flair

When Ronda Rousey first came into WWE and made her debut at the Royal Rumble, fans were worried that she would be taking the spotlight from more deserving female wrestlers who have been a part of the wrestling business for longer.

At WrestleMania 34, it was made abundantly clear that Rousey has worked hard and is a natural. She isn’t taking a spot from anyone else, because she’s earned the spot and will indeed elevate the other women.

Meanwhile, Charlotte Flair knows a thing or two about making the other women she’s in the ring with look great. Sure, there may be a handful of better female wrestlers, but there’s also no doubt that Charlotte is among the best of the best.

She ended Asuka’s heralded undefeated streak at WrestleMania 34, confirming her standing with the company. Ronda and Charlotte are currently reigning supreme in their respective brands, and are the faces of the women's division. Their dominance could see them clash and headline WrestleMania in MetLife Stadium next year.

Earlier in the year, there were rumors floating the internet that the two are penciled to face off against each other at WrestleMania 35 in what would likely be one of the most anticipated matches in the history of the event. And as such, Rousey and Charlotte would also be expected to be in the main event, making history as the first women to do so.

#1 The Rock vs Roman Reigns

This dream match could finally take place at WrestleMania

Roman Reigns is the current Universal Champion, and the WWE has pulled all stops to get him over with the fans. The Rock is keen to perform at WrestleMania next year, and the rumors floating around is that WWE wants to have him wrestle against Reigns.

This match could be set primarily to get Roman Reigns over big time. The Rock and Roman Reigns share a special family bond through their Samoan heritage. This occurred as a result of Reigns’ grandfather declaring Peter Maivia (The Rock’s grandfather) as his blood brother - something that holds deep meaning within Samoan culture.

The Rock did the job for Cena at WrestleMania 29 in the very same venue WrestleMania 35 will take place. How ironic it is going to be for him to put over another face in the very same venue.

Roman Reigns is without doubt The Chosen One, and Vince will go all out to get him over. It will be interesting to see if The Rock would play heel in this feud, or if it would be a face versus face contest. Either way, expect The Big Dog to come out on top.
