Aleister Black could have several interesting feuds on Monday Night RAW.
Aleister Black could have several interesting feuds on Monday Night RAW.

WWE RAW has its fair share of talented stars. However, two of the Red brand's major players, AJ Styles and Randy Orton, have shifted their interests towards the tag team division.

While Styles is currently a RAW Tag Team Champion alongside his 7ft 3in bodyguard, Omos, Orton's stint with Riddle (R-K-Bro) has surprised the WWE Universe.

WrestleVotes recently tweeted that the WWE RAW roster reportedly requires some fresh faces. As a result, management may consider giving Damian Priest a significant push. Meanwhile, another idea being discussed by the higher-ups is that WWE SmackDown's Aleister Black could move over to RAW.

You can check out WrestleVotes' tweet below:

There are already a lot of effective heels on SmackDown. Judging by Aleister Black's recent vignettes, he will most likely feud as a heel character too.

A potential move to the Red brand could open more opportunities for the Dutch superstar. There are also several interesting possibilities for him when it comes to on-screen rivalries. With that in mind, let's take a look at the five potential feuds for Aleister Black if he moves to Monday Night RAW.

#5 Aleister Black vs. Jeff Hardy would be an enigmatic WWE feud

There are certain types of characters that can be quite difficult to interpret in the wrestling entertainment world. Aleister Black's cryptic promos on SmackDown have pretty much slotted him into a class of ambiguous acts on WWE television.

Black has always had a dark element to him, but it only seems like the mysterious facets of his character are being fully explored in 2021. Meanwhile, WWE RAW's Jeff Hardy has occasionally revisited his intriguing roots throughout his professional wrestling career.

Hardy isn't really at the top of the card anymore. Instead of booking the veteran on lower card storylines with little to no significance, WWE could let him feud with Aleister Black if the latter moves to RAW.

It would be a shame if Jeff Hardy doesn't get an opportunity to explore the bizarre aspects of his character in WWE. Perhaps a feud with Black would allow Hardy to break out of his standard veteran role in the company.

Also, both men have never faced each other in singles action before, which adds more intrigue to the possibility of a storyline between them.

#4 The Miz could put over Aleister Black in WWE

In WWE, a lot of successful stars put the importance of characters over any other aspect of wrestling entertainment. The wrestling part itself is quite important, although a character can make or break a promising star in Vince McMahon's promotion.

The Miz happens to be an effective character that has somehow managed to stay relevant over the years without being frequently involved in the top title scene. It's also true that he isn't the most dominant competitor in any generation. However, The Miz has the ability to bring the best out of his opponents by simultaneously pushing everyone's buttons.

The most recent examples of this have to be Damian Priest and Bad Bunny, who earned their WrestleMania moments against The Miz and John Morrison.

The A-Lister could do the same for Aleister Black on WWE RAW. Because even though The Miz has a self-centered onscreen persona, his rivals end up looking better off than they actually were before the feud had even started.

If Aleister Black is to be presented as a top star, he may need The Miz's help to move forward in his journey towards reaching the top of the mountain.

#3 Aleister Black and Keith Lee would have some interesting battles in WWE

WWE RAW's Keith Lee has been under the radar these past few months. There are various reports regarding his absence from weekly television. But his main roster career would have been quite different today if he was still featured on RAW every week. After all, Lee was an important part of the United States Championship scenario on the Road to WrestleMania 37.

While Aleister Black's vignettes are now a recurring part of WWE SmackDown, he too was kept off television for a few months.

Both stars have never fought each other in a one-on-one WWE match. It would be interesting to see their styles mesh inside the squared circle. While Black is a dominating figure himself, Lee ranks comparatively higher on that scale and is one of the best powerhouses in WWE right now.

As a result, the Dutch superstar would have to resort to quick strikes and mind games, the latter of which seems to be the strength of his re-packaged gimmick on SmackDown.

Keith Lee sounds like the smartest person in the room during a promo, so it would be intriguing to see which one of them shall prevail in a battle of brains vs. brawn.

#2 The Fiend vs. Aleister Black is a dream confrontation for many WWE fans

Why exactly do WWE fans often pit cryptic characters against each other in fantasy confrontations? While people can discuss this concept for hours, the short answer is that larger-than-life situations have always been alluring possibilities for the WWE Universe.

There is no record of any kind of WWE match having occurred between Aleister Black and Bray Wyatt/The Fiend. So just the possibility of an in-ring clash between them sounds like an intriguing idea.

There are countless directions for their feud in terms of storytelling, and every fantasy booking scenario can come true if Black moves from WWE SmackDown to RAW.

Sure, WWE hasn't had a consistent track record with supernatural angles in recent memory. But it would be a bummer if Aleister Black and Bray Wyatt never got to feud with each other at least once in their careers.

Moreover, Wyatt's alter-ego isn't at the top of his game, judging by what went down at WrestleMania 37. So if The Fiend already doesn't have a lot left to lose, why not take the risk by booking the character in a feud with Aleister Black at some point down the line?

#1 Damian Priest and Aleister Black could fight each other on their way to the top of WWE's mountain

Based on WrestleVotes' report, Damian Priest and Aleister Black could become integral parts of WWE RAW in the long run. But what if they had to wrestle each other if there's only one spot on the top of the mountain?

When you think about it, Priest and Black have a lot of similarities. Although both stars haven't received a top spot in WWE yet, they already belong in the mid-to-late 30s age range. Apart from their statuses as former NXT stars, both of them look somewhat stylistically similar.

They also have a good base in the striking game, and the two stars will likely cross paths if they end up on the same brand. That can, of course, happen if Aleister Black moves to the Red brand.

Despite their similarities, Black is a comparatively darker character on the main roster, while Damian Priest has been in the mainstream spotlight alongside Bad Bunny already. Also, the zombie-themed Lumberjack match between Priest and The Miz at WrestleMania Backlash felt more like a glorified marketing ploy for a popular movie.

So it would be interesting to see how Priest and Black's similarities and differences could contrast with each other in a feud on Monday Night RAW. If only one of them should move up ranks on the same WWE brand, whom would you choose? Sound off in the comments section below.
