WrestleMania 36 was the breath of fresh air every wrestling fan needed following what has been a tough month around the world. WWE faced immense pressure whilst putting on the show and still managed to find a way to deliver exactly what the WWE Universe needed.

NXT TakeOver was unable to take place ahead of the show, in a break of tradition, which meant that WWE had to come up with a bigger plan for the weekend. The show that was too big for just one night allowed a number of stars to get their own WrestleMania moments.

Even though the show delivered on all cylinders with new champions and the end of some interesting feuds, there were some booking decisions over the two nights that left many WWE fans wondering what WWE was thinking.

#5. Kevin Owens vs Seth Rollins

This match was probably one of the highlights of night one, but many fans have questioned why WWE didn't push this match between Kevin Owens and Seth Rollins as a no-disqualification match to begin with.

If Owens pitched a no-disqualification match a few weeks ago when Rollins had some backup, he would have accepted and then be left to deal with The Prizefighter on his own when all of his disciples slowly left his side, as Buddy Murphy and AOP are now both on the treatment table.

The two men managed to make the best of the situation and finally, Owens found a way past Rollins and had the WrestleMania moment that he wanted, but WWE could have done so much with this match if they made it no disqualification from the beginning.

#4. Triple threat Tag Team ladder match

The Miz was unable to perform at WrestleMania, which meant that WWE was forced to think on their feet and arrange the SmackDown Tag Team Championship match in a way that would allow them to still be defended.

John Morrison stepped up to represent his team along with Jimmy Uso and Kofi Kingston. It was an interesting way for the Tag Team Championships to be defended, but storyline wise it made a lot of sense, until the finish.

All three men managed to take the Championships down from the rafters, but it was John Morrison who unhooked the Championships when he fell to the floor, which meant that he was able to retain. This ending showed that WWE wants this match to happen again since it wasn't a decisive victory for the current champions.

Morrison and Miz will obviously take the victory in any form, but since this was the only ladder match on the card and WWE has become accustomed to come incredible ladder matches at The Showcase of Immortals, this one wasn't in the mix.

#3. Becky Lynch retains

WrestleMania night one saw Becky Lynch face her toughest task to date when she took on Shayna Baszler in a match for the RAW Women's Championship. The former MMA fighter is close friends with the woman that Lynch pinned back at WrestleMania 35 to lift that title-Ronda Rousey- and many believed that The Queen of Spades was finally going to dethrone The Man.

Baszler already had the Survivor Series victory under her belt and many expected her to go on a dominant run on the main roster, especially since she had already brushed aside the entire RAW Women's Division inside the Elimination Chamber.

This wasn't the case, since much like Baszler's defeat to Ember Moon back in NXT, the Champion was able to reverse the Kirifuda Clutch into a pinning predicament and end The Submission Magicians' reign of terror.

It was a result that meant that The Man was now out looking for a new challenger and her year of dominance continued, but it has also raised questions about what this loss means for Baszler, since she has already shown that she's head and shoulders above the current Women's Division on RAW.

#2. Braun Strowman becomes Universal Champion

Braun Strowman had his own push towards the Universal Championship following Roman Reigns' leukemia revelation back in November 2018 and it led to a match between then champion Brock Lesnar and Strowman, where The Monster Among Men was defeated by The Beast.

This year's WrestleMania should have been Roman Reigns' chance to win back the Championship be was forced to relinquish over a year ago, but once again his health got in the way and Braun Strowman was the man who stepped up and took on Goldberg for the Championship instead.

There were rumors before the match that this was Goldberg's final WWE appearance for a while and that the Championship had to change hands, and it obviously should have been Reigns that defeated the WWE Hall of Famer, but instead, it was Strowman.

This is one of the company's biggest Championships and Strowman was able to win in a match that had no buildup and was announced as part of a throwaway segment on SmackDown. What does this mean for Strowman's Championship reign moving forward?

#1. Rhea Ripley is bettered by Charlotte Flair

One of the most controversial decisions of night two of WrestleMania saw Charlotte Flair defeat NXT Women's Champion Rhea Ripley to become the NXT Women's Champion for a second time.

Flair is already a 10-time Women's Champion and made it clear that she was the best female wrestler of any era when she defeated Trish Stratus back at SummerSlam, but The Queen had her eyes set on ending the momentum of one of WWE's hottest prospects.

Ripley had everything to lose in this match and she did when she tapped to The Figure 8 to allow Flair to become the champion and head back down to NXT with her prize. It's obvious that this was a decision based on the ratings that NXT has had throughout this feud, but at the same time, it's a decision that has halted the rise of Ripley in the NXT Women's Division.

Whilst Charlotte's future is already mapped out, what does this mean for Ripley, who has come from out of nowhere over the past year and changed the face of the Women's Division?
