Here's why The Phenomenal One must win the Universal Championship at MITB
Here's why The Phenomenal One must win the Universal Championship at MITB

Former WWE Champion AJ Styles has been the face that runs the place on Smackdown Live for almost as long as he spent on the blue brand before moving to Raw during the 2019 WWE Superstar Shake-up. He made his official televised WWE debut at Royal Rumble in 2016. Eight months later, Styles went on to defeat Dean Ambrose at Backlash to capture his first WWE Championship. He remained champion until January 2017 when he lost to John Cena at that year's Royal Rumble.

Styles is one of the greatest wrestlers in the world right now. He is a phenomenal athlete and has won world championships all over the world, including NWA, TNA and IWGP Heavyweight Championships. He won his second WWE title on an episode of Smackdown Live in November last year by defeating Jinder Mahal. Styles has defended the title at every pay-per-view event and he continues to show up weekly on Smackdown Live.

He is currently scheduled to face AJ Styles for the Universal Championship at WWE Money in the Bank this month. Styles has everything it takes to be the Universal Champion in WWE and he has the skills, mindset, and talent to be a great champion. Seth Rollins is also a great superstar and deserves a lengthy title reign, but right now, WWE is battling with low viewership and the WWE Creatives are struggling to come up with decent storylines. This could be what WWE needs.

One other reason why Styles should win the title is that he could have plenty of dream matches with other superstars on Raw and he could also continue feuding with Seth Rollins till SummerSlam. These two will surely put on a phenomenal match, but in the end, the Phenomenal One should be the one raising the Big Red Belt over his head.
