It’s over. It’s done. After weeks of dissent between Raw General Manager Mick Foley and Commissioner Stephanie McMahon, Foley had an altercation with McMahon and her husband Triple H in the final segment of Raw this week.
This was a direct result of Foley naming Stephanie McMahon as the Raw employee he wanted to fire, after being tasked to ‘trim the fat’ and let one employee from the current roster ride into the sunset. Who would we have fired from the Raw roster, had we been assigned the same task as Foley? Here are the top 5 contenders in the list of Sportskeeda Wrestling News. We’ll link it in, man!
#5- Emmalina/Emma
Not only is Emma one of the most attractive women in the entire WWE women's roster, she is also a very talented professional wrestler. Just check out her incredible match against Asuka at NXT Takeover: London.
We think how she’s been used since her injury has been disrespectful to her. She first appeared in several Emmalina vignettes that led to...absolutely nothing. At present, WWE has been teasing that Emma is all set to return to her rocker chick gimmick and make her return in the same old avatar. Essentially, this means that we might get yet another countdown with possibly no payoff.
It makes perfect sense for Emma to be let go from Raw, and go to either Smackdown Live or NXT and bolster the women's division there. She has the look, she has the talent and she has many years of wrestling left in her. At least, it'll spare us another countdown.
#4 Mark Henry
Mark Henry will probably go into the WWE Hall of Fame someday (he's already in the Hall of Pain), but right now he’s overstayed his welcome in WWE. He’s put over too many new performers to be considered any sort of a serious threat to anyone, and his work rate has been severely lacking when he makes his special appearances on WWE TV.
It is easy to forget that he even works for the company, considering how few and far between his appearances generally are. If Foley had let him go, we don't think the WWE Universe would have cared too much, honestly!
#3 Curtis Axel
Curtis Axel's name is a tribute to two of the greatest of all time, his father Mr Perfect Curt Hennig and his grandfather, Larry ‘The Axe’ Hennig. While his career did begin promisingly, it has spiralled downward ever since, as Axel plunged into obscurity.

A shame really because Axel is a former Tag Team champion and a former Intercontinental Champion too. Remember AxelMania? Remember RybAxel? Remember the Social Outcasts? Axel was once a promising player on the WWE roster, but he has descended into the lowest berth of the lower mid card over the years. He was also the last person to be drafted during the brand split. Foley would be doing him a favour by letting him go.
#2 The Golden Truth
You thought we’ll give you five names on this list? Well, we live to exceed your expectations. We give you 6 names from Raw that can be fired without affecting the dynamic of the current product. The Golden Truth narrowly edge out The Shining Stars as the only tag team on this list.
While both Goldust and R-Truth are WWE veterans who've been part of some of the more memorable segments in WWE history, this isn't them in their prime. Even though the tag team division on Raw has been lacklustre, the level of work has been exceptional.
Goldust and R-Truth simply cannot go at the same rate as the current locker room. The most memorable thing that Golden Truth has accomplished has been the vignettes they were part of, when they first came together.
#1 Bo Dallas
He hails from one of sports entertainment’s most renowned families. His brother is the WWE Champion. Both his father and grandfather are industry legends. Dallas himself is a multiple time FCW Champion, both in singles and tag team environments and also holds the distinction of being the youngest NXT Champion.
However, despite a great start to his career with an undefeated streak, Dallas hasn't been able to reach the same level of success that his own brother has. So much so, that we haven't seen him on TV for the longest time now.
If Mick Foley were to let Bo Dallas go, even in kayfabe, no one in the audience would bat an eyelid. A tragic situation for a genuinely talented WWE superstar.
