MVP was a highly decorated wrestler WWE ever got to see. MVP had the agility, skills and in-ring techniques and could build outstanding promos. He was two times the United States Champion. During his first tenure as the US champion, he held the title for 343 days, which was at that time the longest reign of the WWE era. He also held the WWE Tag Team Championship with Matt Hardy.

Despite projecting him as the next big star, WWE failed to give him his due. MVP certainly deserved better and he could have been an excellent world Champion. Letting go MVP was not the best of moves on the part of WWE as they could never find an all-rounder superstar as his replacement. Here are five reasons why WWE should consider bringing him back, which will benefit mutually both WWE and MVP.

The good news is that MVP has announced via Twitter that he will be returning to the company. He was also a part of the 25th anniversary of RAW.

#5 MVP as the United States Champion

MVP is perhaps the most talked about US Champion of all time

MVP and the US Championship are almost synonymous. MVP won the US Championship at the pay-per-view Backlash in 2007. MVP was one of the finest US champions in the history of the company who held the title for a combined number of 419 days. Despite becoming the US champion for just two times, he is fifth on the list in terms of the number of days for combined reigns.

He defended his title against some of the greatest wrestlers in WWE like Ric Flair, Matt Hardy, Kane and others. Either by fair play or by unfair means, he could use any tactics to hold on to his title.

Post MVP, no other US champion could create the aura with the title like him. WWE should bring MVP back and a match between him and the current champion Bobby Roode for the US champion would be 'Glorious'. MVP will go down in WWE history as the most outspoken, blandish and the controversial US Champion. He can form outstanding plots and feuds with the US title. This will gather more crowd reactions and interests towards the US title.

#4 MVP can be a unique crowd-puller

MVP had one of the best entrances in WWE

MVP's entrance was also unique and highly versatile. Many superstars have tried but failed to generate such a unique entrance. MVP had all the ingredients essential to be larger than life superstar in WWE. He could outstrip any performer and tackle them with his signature moves. During his feud with Matt Hardy, he also displayed his NBA skills. He can rap, battle with words and basically do any anything and everything a mortal person is capable of, to outsmart his opponents.

MVP showed his dexterity in talk shows and nailed anyone with a microphone in his hand. Similar to the Miz TV, MVP can host talk shows. MVP has an outstanding grandiloquent verbose and can dissect any opponent.

WWE should make possible efforts to bring back MVP as he can contribute enormously to viewership and high TRP.

#3 MVP as the WWE Champion

MVP was one of the few wrestlers in WWE to hold dual championships (the US and Tag team Championship). He defeated the likes of Kane, Big Show, Matt Hardy and other big names in the WWE. He also competed in several special matches like inferno match, championship scramble match, last man standing match, elimination chamber and much more.

He was often cited as the next big superstar in WWE. However, he was hardly given any push for world championship pursuits. If he returns, a feud between him and A.J. Styles for the WWE championship would be 'phenomenal'. For WWE fans, it would be a dream come true to see MVP raising his hand high in the air with the WWE belt.

MVP deserves to win a world championship and WWE management should try to make it happen.

#2 MVP as the Intercontinental Champion

The Intercontinental gold is one of the most prestigious and oldest championships that the WWE has at present. Even though MVP was a very popular US Champion in WWE, he never had the privilege of winning the Intercontinental Championship. MVP has a bitter history with the current IC champion Miz. A feud involving MVP, Miz and Roman Reigns for the title could crack an outstanding story-line.

Since Brock Lesnar, Braun Strowman and Kane is getting a lot of the limelight for the Universal Championship, the Intercontinental title has been reduced to a sidekick. To change the outline, at WrestleMania, a triple threat match comprising Roman Reigns, Miz and MVP for the Intercontinental championship would be outstanding.

This will help the title to be on par with the Universal Championship and will also benefit WWE as more and more people will be rooting for this match. If he goes on to win the match and the IC gold, MVP will etch his name in WWE history for a dream comeback.

#1 The new face of SmackDown Live

MVP had an amazing tenure in SmackDown
MVP had an amazing tenure in SmackDown

SmackDown is mostly regarded as the B-Show on WWE. Despite all the efforts, Raw has overshadowed and enjoys more viewership and popularity than SmackDown. MVP is one such wrestler who can change the game plan and scenario if he comes back in SmackDown.

During his tenure in SD, he was a highly talked about player and fans enjoyed watching his matches. MVP has a lot to offer if he joins 'Team Blue'. While the current roster of SmackDown is mostly fresh and does not possess enough knowledge to crack promos, MVP can bring his years of experience into play. MVP can compete for the Tag Team gold’s if he pairs up with Rusev, Tye Dillinger, the new day and others. As a heel, he can pair up with Bludgeon Brothers, Jinder Mahal, Shelton Benjamin and Chad Gable.

For the WWE championship, he can open up several story-lines by feuding with Shinsuke Nakamura, Randy Orton, Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens. This will be very helpful for WWE as most of the main events in SmackDown are too mainstream and the creative team has failed to generate much crowd enthusiasm. Even in the SmackDown pay-per-views, most matches fail to bring the curiosity among the fans and this leads to low turnout of audiences.

MVP can also occasionally commentate, as everyone is aware that he is nearly impossible to conquer in a battle of words. He can decipher matches and fights much better than the present commentators.

His potentials are enormous, therefore his return is a must.
