Architect of The Shield, The Beast Slayer, or The Messiah: Call Seth Rollins whatever you want but it cannot be denied that the man has lived up to all his monikers in WWE.

It has been a decade since WWE signed former Ring of Honor World Champion Tyler Black to a developmental contract and within these past 10 years, not only has the renamed Black added the WWE Championship, Universal Championship, and the WWE Intercontinental Championship to his list of accolades. But Seth Rollins has also nailed every gimmick that has been thrown at him by the creative team.

For over a decade, Seth Rollins has undergone multiple character changes and along with those changes, came a host of memorable moments. During his time in both developmental and the main roster, Seth Rollins has created his fair share of historic moments in WWE and The Monday Night Messiah is arguably one of the most vital Superstars in WWE right now.

Still in his mid-30s, Seth Rollins has a long way to go in the professional wrestling business and as time gradually progresses, the former WWE Champion will only continue to evolve both as an in-ring performer, on the microphone in his promos, and eventually carve his legacy as a legendary veteran of the business.

With Seth Rollins celebrating his 10th anniversary in WWE, this feels like the perfect time to recall five of his memorable moments in the company so far. Let's get to it.

#5. Seth Rollins wins the NXT Championship

We start off with the place where it all began for Seth Rollins in WWE, the developmental brand. Initially, much like every other superstar, Rollins was also under contract with Florida Championship Wrestling (FCW) but it was only after the brand was renamed to NXT, Rollins had started to showcase his true potential.

Yes, Rollins is a former FCW Heavyweight and Tag Team Champion, and he enjoyed quite the dominant run in the promotion. But what made his NXT run even more special is the fact that he remains the inaugural NXT Champion in the company's history.

In 2012, Seth Rollins entered the Gold Rush Tournament and defeated Jinder Mahal in the finals to win the NXT Championship. In his only reign as champion, Rollins carried the title to the main roster, while he made his debut with a certain trio known as The Shield.

#4. Seth Rollins becomes a double champion

Be it the developmental brand or the main roster, Seth Rollins has made a habit of winning championships in WWE, and occasionally, even holding one title belt at a time isn't enough for The Monday Night Messiah.

Heading into SummerSlam 2015, Seth Rollins was already the WWE World Heavyweight Champion. And to make matters even more interesting, Rollins was had engaged himself in a feud against John Cena, right after he had successfully retained the WWE Championship over Brock Lesnar at the Battleground pay-per-view.

With Cena also in possession of the United States Championship at the time, "Big Match John" proved his worth every week by defending the title on a regular basis as part of the John Cena US Open Challenge. However, their match at SummerSlam 2015 was no open challenge. Both Cena and Rollins had the same amount of time to prepare for a Winner Takes All Match at The Biggest Party of the Summer.

And while it did seem that Cena was on the verge of a historic win over WWE World Champion, Seth Rollins, thanks to unlikely interference from Jon Stewart, led to Rollins pinning Cena and walking out of SummerSlam with both titles wrapped around his shoulder.

#3. Seth Rollins slays The Beast at WrestleMania

Heading into WrestleMania 35, Seth Rollins versus Brock Lesnar was possibly the hottest feud in the making for the biggest annual WWE pay-per-view. However, the match itself at WrestleMania 35 caught the WWE Universe by surprise, as fans didn't expect Seth Rollins to slay The Beast Incarnate within two and a half minutes.

Seth Rollins previously shared the ring against Brock Lesnar on multiple occasions but mostly as The Authority's slimy heel. On this occasion, though, Rollins was the lovable babyface and he also had the opportunity to kick-start The Show of Shows with a red-hot crowd at MetLife Stadium.

Brock Lesnar gained the upper-hand on the challenger by attacking Rollins on the outside, prior to the start. As the bell rang, Lesnar still dominated Rollins and it seemed like another typical walk in the park for Lesnar.

However, in a surprising turn of events, Lesnar failed to hit the F-5, allowing Rollins to shove Lesnar into the referee and hitting a low-blow. Three consecutive Stomps from Rollins followed next and the referee counted to three for a historic win for The Architect.

This marked Seth Rollins' first Universal Championship win and what a triumphant way to do so, on the grand WrestleMania stage.

#2. Seth Rollins' Heist of the Century

Sticking to Seth Rollins and WrestleMania, we look back at the historic WrestleMania 31 main event.

The year 2015 could easily be regarded as the most successful year in Seth Rollins' WWE career so far. And it all began for The Architect at The Grandest Stage of Them All, at WrestleMania 31.

The WrestleMania 31 main event featured a clash of the titans between WWE Champion Brock Lesnar and challenger Roman Reigns. On paper, the match seemed evenly matched between the champion and challenger. However, the WWE Universe wasn't pleased with the push that was being given to Roman Reigns.

While both Lesnar and Reigns did a formidable job in the main event, Seth Rollins decided to turn the tide in his favor in the most unexpected of manners, when he interfered and cashed in his Money in the Bank contract.

Despite falling victim to one of the most gruesome RKOs in history from Randy Orton earlier in the night, Seth Rollins was keen on walking out of WrestleMania 31 with a win, even after suffering a loss to Orton. And that is exactly what he did, as Rollins' historic cash-in made him the first MITB holder to cash in the briefcase during a WrestleMania main event.

Multiple stomps to both Reigns and Lesnar later, and Rollins eventually pinned his former Shield stablemate to walk out with the WWE Championship. Heist of the century, indeed.

#1. Seth Rollins betrays The Shield

In 2014, Seth Rollins gave us one of the biggest swerves of all time when he turned his back on The Shield. Riding at an all-time high after beating Evolution on two successive occasions, Triple H and Randy Orton were left without a third man in their group after Batista had decided to call it quits.

In stepped Seth Rollins.

As The Shield was in preparation for another war against an already outnumbered Evolution on RAW, Rollins was also ready to defend The Shield's honor once again with a steel chair in hand.

However, what followed next shocked the WWE Universe as The Architect of The Shield also turned out to be the destroyer of one of the most dominant factions of all time. Instead of clipping Triple H and Orton with the steel chair, Rollins decided to pull off the unthinkable and hit Roman Reigns, officially splitting the faction.

The reaction on Dean Ambrose's face pretty much summed up the WWE Universe's feelings, however Seth Rollins' decision was for the greater good. As not only did it break The Shield apart and gave us three outstanding singles wrestlers, but it was also the beginning of Seth Rollins' incredible journey to the top.
