When Vince McMahon returned on RAW, he shocked WWE fans by promising a fresh start for the company, naming it "New-Era."

Follow Sportskeeda for the latest WWE news, rumors and all other wrestling news.

Also, last month Baron Corbin and Paige were officially removed from their respective positions of General Manager of RAW and SmackDown Live. Followed by McMahon family replacing them and once again taking the strings in their hands.

Due to this, many on-going and future storylines have been dropped. Also, the plans for the biggest show of the year, WrestleMania, are also being changed as Mr. McMahon has promised the WWE universe from now on they will see new things in the company.

And based on the rumors out there I have prepared a list of the things that Vince McMahon could be planning for WrestleMania 35, following the new-era announcement.

#5 Drew McIntyre vs Dean Ambrose for the Intercontinental Championship

If Drew McIntyre is unable to win this year's Men's Royal Rumble match, he would still have his marquee match at WM 35
If Drew McIntyre is unable to win this year's Men's Royal Rumble match, he would still have his marquee match at WM 35

Since coming to the main roster, Drew McIntyre has proved why those four years away from the company were worth it. And putting aside the recent weeks, McIntyre is clearly poised for a massive push.

This time it seems McIntyre would capture more titles than the last time, and Intercontinental Championship is probably one of them.

As you already know, McIntyre is heavily rumoured to win the WWE Universal Championship in 2019. But, I think before he gets the hold of the red brand's top prize, he will hold the Intercontinental Championship, at least for one time.

Therefore, I think, if Drew McIntyre is unable to win this year's Men's Royal Rumble match, he would still have his marquee match at the Show Of Shows, as there is no way "The Scottish Psychopath" will be left out of it.

Chances are that Vince McMahon might book a one-on-one match between Drew McIntyre and Dean Ambrose for the Intercontinental Championship.

Also, if this match takes place at WrestleMania 35, it'd the first time when we will see these two men in action with the IC Title on the line.

#4 The Miz vs Shane McMahon- Street Fight

The Miz is rumored for a WWE Title run in 2019, and he can't be involved into WWE Title picture until he's not finished with Shane McMahon
The Miz is rumored for a WWE Title run in 2019, and he can't be involved into WWE Title picture until he's not finished with Shane McMahon

A few weeks ago on SmackDown Live, a new tag team was formed, the team of Shane McMahon and The Miz.

Even though coming together as a team, the two men have been involved in a few matches only, but they have already managed to book their place at the Royal Rumble PPV for the SmackDown Live Tag Team Titles.

That being said, this new association between The Miz and Shane McMahon is assumed to be short-lived.

The Miz is an early favorite to win this year's Men's Royal Rumble match. Therefore, he can't be involved into WWE Title picture until he's with Shane McMahon.

Therefore, I think the team of Shane McMahon and The Miz will break up before WrestleMania 35 comes around.

Maybe Shane O'Mac will turn heel on The A_Lister, leading a match at WrestleMania between them.

And to make things more exciting, Vince McMahon might make their match a street fight. That'll be exciting to watch because we haven't seen this type of event at WrestleMania since last five years.

#3 Sasha Banks and Bayley vs Lita and Trish Stratus for the Women's Tag Team Titles

I think in the finals, the teams of Sasha Banks and Bayley, and of Lita and Trish Stratus will book their place

It is no more a secret to anyone that WWE will introduce the Women's Tag Team Titles in 2019, more importantly at the Royal Rumble PPV. Also, as it is a trend for WWE to arrange a tournament whenever they introduce new titles.

Therefore, I think the same is going to happen with the Women's Tag Team Titles too. And so, the finals of the tournament will probably take place at WrestleMania 35 as it the most suitable platform for a match with this kind of magnitude.

With all that in mind, Lita and Trish Stratus are rumored for a long time to work in a tag-team match at WrestleMania 35, and the finals of this women's tag team titles seem to be the only logical answer for their WM appearance.

Therefore, I think in the finals the teams of Sasha Banks and Bayley, and of Lita and Trish Stratus will book their place and therefore will fight for the Women's Tag Team Titles.

#2 Daniel Bryan vs Samoa Joe for the WWE Championship

With Bryan being the WWE Champion, and WrestleMania 35 coming around, the champion needs a big opponent
With Bryan being the WWE Champion, and WrestleMania 35 coming around, the champion needs a big opponent

It can be said that 2018 was probably the year of Daniel Bryan. As for the first time, since returning from his shocking retirement, Bryan won the WWE Championship.

But, the same can't be said for the Samoan submission machine, Samoa Joe. As even after involving in a quarrel with AJ Styles for the WWE Championship, the two-time NXT champion has remained completely irrelevant.

But, I think 2019 will not only be the year of "The New Daniel Bryan", but also of Samoa Joe.

With Bryan being the WWE Champion, and WrestleMania 35 coming around, the champion needs a big opponent for his marquee match at WM, and Joe seems to be a perfect choice unless Shawn Michaels accepts to work in a match at WrestleMania 35 with Bryan.

Therefore, I think as there is no sturdy opponent left on the blue brand for Bryan except Samoa Joe, Vince McMahon booking Joe in a WWE Championship match at WrestleMavia 35 seems to be the only option, at least at this point of time.

#1 Seth Rollins wins the Universal Championship and Brock Lesnar finally leaves the WWE

This might sound nostalgic to you, as the same was being said this last year when Lesnar defended his Universal Title against Roman Reigns
This might sound nostalgic to you, as the same was being said this last year when Lesnar defended his Universal Title against Roman Reigns

Seth Rollins has been a part of a lot of rumors now. The biggest and most prominent of them all is him winning this year's Men's Royal Rumble match and then going on to face Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania 35 for the Universal Championship.

With all that in mind, it's crystal clear that Lesnar's time in WWE is limited and it is hardly expected of him to stick around with WWE after completion of Wrestlemania 35.

Therefore, I think Lesnar will drop the WWE Universal Championship to Seth Rollins at the Grandest Stage Of Them All.

Though this might sound a little bit nostalgic to you, as the same was being said last year when Lesnar defended his Universal Title against Roman Reigns, I think this time it'll be different as the "beast incarnate" is expected to leave WWE for UFC.

Hence, expect Rollins to win the red brand's top prize this coming April
