Will Cena "Let Him In"?

Big match John Cena is back where he belongs as WrestleMania season has suddenly started to feel much more exciting with the arrival of the 16-time World Champion. The Leader of Cenation made his long-awaited return to WWE on the SmackDown after WWE Super ShowDown. It didn't take him long to make us realize what we were missing as he had the WWE Universe present in the arena at the palm of his hands as they chanted his name with all their hearts.

The segment took an unexpected turn as Cena teased a retirement, but as he made his way back to the ramp for what would have been a goodbye salute, The Fiend appeared behind him. There was no attack or Mandible Claw, but the challenge was made and Cena accepted. With that, we have a massive match set for WrestleMania 36 as John Cena will take on The Fiend at the Show of Shows, which will take place live from the Performance Center this year.

But who will come out victorious in this epic clash? Check out five signs why John Cena won't defeat The Fiend at WrestleMania 36.

#5 The Fiend has just come out off a massive first defeat

WWE Super ShowDown!
WWE Super ShowDown!

A little over 24 hours before "The Fiend" Bray Wyatt and John Cena crossed paths on the SmackDown after WWE Super ShowDown, the internet was mad and furious over WWE's decision to let Goldberg win the Universal Championship in Saudi Arabia by defeating Wyatt.

This was also The Fiend's first pinfall defeat which surely damaged the momentum of the Superstar. Coming out of such a massive defeat, having him lose to yet another veteran in the form of John Cena won't be a popular decision and might end up hurting the character even more.

#4 John Cena is here to put over the younger Superstars

There was a time when John Cena was accused by many in the WWE Universe for burying the up-and-coming talent. But the Cena we see today is all about giving it back to the business which made him what he is today. In the last few years, we've seen him happily take a fall for the likes of Finn Balor, Roman Reigns, Shinsuke Nakamura, and many others.

Having turned into a part-timer in the last couple of years, Cena made a point to mention that he thinks he should not take up a Superstar's spot on the 'Mania card before The Fiend interrupted and challenged him for a match. During the build-up as well, he put over many young Superstars, including NXT talents like Tomasso Ciampa, Velveteen Dream, Matt Riddle, and others.

This clash between Bray Wyatt and John Cena is not about the 16-time World Champion coming back to establish his already massively established career. It's about putting over Bray Wyatt in a huge way. Of course, WWE could have done this before...

#3 WrestleMania 30 revenge for Bray Wyatt

A pro-wrestling feud is not all about the match that the two Superstars can have in the ring. It's the build-up, the story, the history that makes the fans get so attached to it. Luckily, the two Superstars involved here have a rich history for yet another classic chapter in their rivalry.

Bray Wyatt mentioned during his in-ring promo segment on SmackDown as to how his defeat to John Cena at WrestleMania 30 started his downward spiral. The leader of the Wyatt Family crossed paths with Cena at WrestleMania 30, and with the kind of momentum he had, a win over him would've pushed Bray to the moon. But it was not to be the case as Cena pinned him clean, even after interference from Rowan and Harper. Wyatt mentioned in the promo how he was broken after that loss, only for The Fiend to help him.

"You broke me John, but The Fiend, he put me back together!"

As has been the case with The Fiend, he's here to hurt those who've hurt Bray in the past and John Cena probably the tops that list. It is about revenge, six years in the making!

#2 A victory over John Cena would establish Wyatt as the top guy

Bray Wyatt has always been that guy who has impressed everyone with his passion and exceptional skills. Considered by many to probably have one of the most creative minds in all of pro-wrestling, Wyatt has had his moments of glory and patches where he looked set to become the "next big thing" in the company, but none of those patches lasted long due to various reasons.

When Bray made his return to WWE last year after WrestleMania 35 with a completely new and more sinister gimmick of Firefly Fun House and The Fiend, the wrestling world fell in love with it and went berserk. It was not long before Wyatt found himself in the World title picture and went on to capture the Universal Championship.

Unfortunately, even after all the encounters with legends like Mick Foley, Kurt Angle, and others, The Fiend is yet to have that career-defining match and victory. Thankfully, the match against the 16-time World Champion and an old rival, John Cena provides just the perfect opportunity to defeat him clean and establish himself as the "Top Guy".

#1 John Cena is a part-timer and doesn't need this victory

The challenge by The Fiend to John Cena on the SmackDown after WWE Super ShowDown was made in the most respectful way possible. But soon, Bray made it clear that this is not going to be a fight, but a slaughter. In Cena's promo on SmackDown, he claimed to end the existence of Bray Wyatt.

"This WrestleMania match is going to accomplish what should've happened six years ago - ending the existence of the most overhyped, overvalued, overprivileged WWE Superstar."

While it might seem as if Cena buried Bray Wyatt through that promo, we've previously seen him do the same to Roman Reigns, before losing clean to him at No Mercy 2017. The fact is, the Leader of Cenation is a part-timer now and will most likely go back to his Hollywood schedule after WrestleMania.

He doesn't need this win as much as Bray. While one could've said the same about Goldberg as well, his win was to set-up a clash with the Big Dog at WrestleMania 36. On the other hand, Cena winning this match doesn't serve any purpose. It should be The Fiend who should come out victorious in this epic clash at The Show of Shows!
