3 Superstars who deserve to be the next Paul Heyman Guys

It certainly pays to be a Paul Heyman Guy!

In a move to improve their dwindling ratings, WWE has sought the help of Paul Heyman & Eric Bischoff the former heads of ECW & WCW. WWE appointed them as Executive Directors of Raw & SmackDown Live, and they will report directly to Vince McMahon.

Heyman & Bischoff are two of the greatest minds in the pro-wrestling industry, but let's have our undivided attention on Paul Heyman for the rest of this article.

If we had followed Paul Heyman throughout his career, he had set apart a select list of superstars whom he named as "Paul Heyman Guys" and made sure they became the most successful superstars in the history of the industry.

Most of the Paul Heyman guys went on to become multiple time world champions or at least held various mid-card titles. Heyman always made sure the superstars he advocated became successful in one way or another.

Now that he will have the freedom to build even more superstars as the new Executive Director of Raw, we can see more Paul Heyman guys emerging in the next few years. Here are three superstars who could join the elite list in the future.

#3 Drew McIntyre

The question that has been bothering the WWE Universe for the past one year is why Drew McIntyre has not won the Universal Championship yet? Despite being one of the legitimate heels on their roster, WWE has been reluctant in pulling the plugs on putting the Universal title on the Scottish Psychopath.

Paul Heyman identifies the potential in the superstars at the very first sight he gazes upon them, and we can be sure McIntyre could be a big draw in the Heyman era.

Shane McMahon’s role as an authority figure could come to an end with Heyman & Bischoff as the new executive directors. We could see McIntyre turning on the self-proclaimed Best in the World and become the new Paul Heyman guy in the future.

#2 Shayna Baszler

Paul Heyman is no stranger when it comes to being an advocate for former UFC prospects. His current client Brock Lesnar is a former UFC Heavyweight Champion and has won three world titles in the WWE since returning in 2012 all of which came under the watch of Paul Heyman.

Shayna Baszler also has a similar background as Brock Lesnar and is one of the best options to be the first Paul Heyman girl. Though she didn't have the same level of success as Lesnar in the UFC, she has found her ground as a dominant champion in NXT.

She is the first women to become a two-time NXT Women’s Champion with her current reign continuing for over 243 days. She has established herself as a dominant force in NXT’s women’s division, and she could scale even greater heights on the main roster under the watch of Paul Heyman.

#1 Braun Strowman

When will we see Strowman with a title?
When will we see Strowman with a title?

Big men like Braun Strowman never did big in terms of championships in the WWE and the Monster Among Men could join the unlucky list if someone like Paul Heyman doesn't come to his rescue.

WWE has been booking Strowman very strong but only to the extent of destroying jobbers and turning over big trucks and cars. The only title he ever held in the WWE so far is the Raw Tag Team Championship with a 10-year-old kid named Nicholas.

He has won a meaningless Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal and an Arab version of the same in the Greatest Royal Rumble. The only significant match he ever won was the Money in the Bank Ladder match, and he didn't have a successful cash-in.

Braun Strowman deserves to be a Paul Heyman guy more than anyone else and him winning the WWE or Universal Championships will be more iconic with someone like Heyman in his corner.
