WWE TLC was the last PPV of 2019. The PPV didn't disappoint but it's now time to look forward to the Royal Rumble in late January. The build for the Rumble starts tonight on RAW and WWE could have a number of surprises up their sleeve. Let's take a look at some twists WWE could throw our way tonight on RAW.

#5 Zelina Vega turns on Andrade

Over the last week, we've seen some friction in the relationship between Zelina Vega and Andrade. It started on RAW last week when Vega went to distract Humberto Carillo and inadvertently cost her client the match. Carillo and Andrade had a rematch on the WWE TLC pre-show and Vega's interference once against cost Andrade the match.

Andrade was visibly upset after the match and walked away, leaving Vega in the ring. It looks like WWE could be teasing that the duo could be going their separate ways in the near future. If WWE decide to pull the trigger on this storyline, they could book Vega to turn on Andrade and align herself with Humberto Carillo. Vega could help Carillo in the same way she helped Andrade in NXT, where he was having trouble connecting with the audience as a babyface.

#4 Could Erick Rowan reveal what's inside his cage?

Will we finally find out what's inside Rowan's cage?
Will we finally find out what's inside Rowan's cage?

For the past few weeks, Erick Rowan has brought out a mysterious, covered object with him. Although we don't know what exactly is under the cover, it looks like some sort of a cage. Rowan has had the cage with him for a few weeks now and with the Royal Rumble coming next month, it could be time for Rowan to finally reveal what he brings to the ring with him.

With TLC behind us, WWE could decide to have Rowan reveals what his mysterious object is as soon as tonight. If we had to guess, we think its some sort of animal inside a cage.

#3 The Usos and Naomi return to RAW

The Usos have been off WWE television for months
The Usos have been off WWE television for months

The Usos are one of the best tag-teams in the world but they've been off WWE television in recent months due to Jimmy Uso's latest arrest for DUI in July. Naomi has also been off television due to personal reasons. Depending on how Jimmy Uso is dealing with his backstage issues, it could be time to bring The Usos back WrestleMania season around the corner.

Tonight would be a great night for The Usos and Naomi to make their return to RAW, but it all depends on how issues behind the scenes are.

#5 John Morrison returns

John Morrison's return to WWE has finally been confirmed and now the question is, when will he return and which brand will he return on? At this point in time, the best option for Morrison could be RAW where he will have a host of Superstars like Seth Rollins, Kevin Owens and AJ Styles to feud with.

We don't yet know when Morrison will return, but with the last PPV of 2019 behind us, it seems like an ideal time to bring back to the former Intercontinental Champion to RAW.

#1 Brock Lesnar returns ahead of the Royal Rumble

With WWE TLC now behind us, it's time to look ahead to the Royal Rumble in January. After the lackluster build to TLC, WWE have to do a whole lot better in the coming weeks. One way to do this to start the feuds for the biggest matches early. One of the bigger matches on the card will be Brock Lesnar's WWE Championship title defense.

Although we don't yet know who will challenge 'The Beast', at the Rumble, WWE will have it planned out already. A great surprise for tonight's episode of RAW would be Brock Lesnar's return to set up his clash at the Royal Rumble. At this point there are no clear cut contender's for Lesnar's WWE Championship but one great option would be Drew McIntyre.

The Scottish Psychopath could blindside Lesnar and attacking Lesnar on RAW to set things off. This will give WWE a number of weeks to build up the feud ahead of their possible title match at the Royal Rumble in late January.
