5 takeaways from this week's Monday Night Raw: 12th February 2018

Fans want both of them in the match, so lets do that!

There are three certainties in life: death, taxes and Braun Strowman stealing the show every week. Braun Strowman has come a long way from being a non-speaking character in a backyard cult to a guy who's charisma levels know no limits.

The new revamped RAW has certainly made refreshing changes to the storylines, and it is pretty difficult to find flaws in the way RAW is advancing its stories leading up to the Elimination Chamber.

We look at five major talking points from a wonderful episode of Monday Night RAW.

#5 WrestleMania can bring back the legend, right?

Cena hinted that the Undertaker might return at WrestleMania
Cena hinted that The Undertaker might return at WrestleMania

John Cena kicked off the Monday Night RAW episode and wondered what his future regarding WrestleMania could possibly be. He confidently proclamed that the Elimination Chmaber is going to be his night, and he'll make history against Lesnar at WrestleMania.

However, Cena winning the Chamber is a long shot and he is definitely looking towards bigger things at WrestleMania. Cena is known to give hints about his upcoming feuds, and a line about how WrestleMania can bring legends back from the dead, was right on the nose!

Cena vs Undertaker could be set in stone for WrestleMania already, and regardless of the outcome or the match quality, it is going to be a monumental match for both the superstars.

#4 Elimination Chamber about to get Rowdy!

Could Ronda Rousey's Road to Wrestlemania begin at the Elimination Chamber
Could Ronda Rousey's Road to WrestleMania begin at the Elimination Chamber?

Ronda Rousey arrived in WWE with a bang during the Royal Rumble event, and the impact she made is undeniable. Her star presence is second to none in WWE currently, and this is a major opportunity for WWE to gain some unparalleled mainstream attention.

Rousey will be officially signing her contract at the Elimination Chamber, and it could also be the start of a rivalry for WrestleMania. Rumors of her facing Triple H and Stephanie McMahon in a mixed tag match are doing the rounds, so a contract signing with Stephanie could definitely go awry!

"Rowdy" Ronda Rousey surely has a bright future in WWE, and hopefully WWE makes her the legitimate star she deserves to be.

#3 Are we heading towards another Festival of Friendship?

Its not often that we see wrestlers getting the hometown win
Bayley and Sasha can steal the show with a renewed rivalry

This day last year, the beautiful friendship of Chris Jericho and Kevin Owens came to a devastating end. Paying tribute to a fantastic friendship, WWE presented a Friendly Competition match this week, with Sasha Banks and Bayley going one-on-one against each other.

Sasha Banks has been showing shades of grey ever since the Royal Rumble match, tapping into her hugely successful heel persona from NXT. Her rivalry with Bayley in the summer of 2015 made both the ladies legitimate superstars in NXT, and a confrontation between these two at WrestleMania looks to be in sight.

A heel Sasha vs the lovable babyface Bayley was an epic rivalry, and this could be delightful on the main roster as well.

#2 What can this man (or monster) not do?

Braun Strowman with a massive orchestra bass is already the highlight of 2018
Braun Strowman with a massive orchestra bass is already the highlight of 2018

Braun Strowman started as a bland and generic big man in the Wyatt Family. He went from being a silent destroyer to become a top heel on RAW with a major singles push looming in the corner. A feud against Roman Reigns proved how over he was with the audience, and it immediately led to WWE turning the Monster among Men a babyface.

After proving his worthiness as a top heel, Strowman is currently killing it as a babyface. A refreshing change from the typical babyfaces in WWE, Strowman is a man who can be funny and monstrous at the same time.

Strowman singing with a giant sized bass is definitely already one of the best segments of 2018.

#1 Last chance to prove yourself

Poor Bray Wyatt, The Eater of Pins now has to take two pins simultaneously
Poor Bray Wyatt, The Eater of Pins now had to take two pins simultaneously

The Second Chance Fatal-4-Way was quickly renamed to The Last Chance Fatal-5-Way after Seth Rollins demanded to be put into the match. All the five superstars in the ring gave wonderful performances throughout the match, with some nice little spots throughout the match.

WWE's decision to test the waters with massively talented Apollo Crews in the main-event, two former main-eventers in Matt Hardy and Bray Wyatt along with former World Champions Seth Rollins and Finn Balor made for an extremely intriguing and grudging battle for a chance, at a chance to get a chance at the biggest stage of them all!

An extremely weird finish to end the night, followed by the announcement that Rollins and Balor would both enter the Chamber, is definitely news that will get everyone excited!
