5 Things AEW should do at All Out 2020

Expect AEW to go All Out tonight.
Expect AEW to go All Out tonight.

AEW All Out is all set to emanate live from the Daily's Place on Saturday night. The show features a stacked lineup with grudge fights, championship bouts, and gimmick matches. To say that fans are in for an exciting night of action would be an understatement.

Unlike WWE, AEW doesn't run a pay-per-view every month. While the company airs special-themed episodes every few weeks, it has remained adamant about hosting only four pay-per-views per year. So far, all AEW pay-per-views have been received positively by the fans and have featured various surprise debuts and returns.

So, fans have understandably high expectations for this year's All Out. The matches must deliver tonight, but the show should also be filled with surprises and angles that would keep the fans at the edge of their seats at all times.

So, without any further ado, here are five things that AEW should do at All Out.

#5. Introduce the New Four Horsemen to AEW

For the past few months, various AEW stars have been teasing the reformation of the legendary faction, The Four Horsemen. FTR and Shawn Spears have been hinting at a new iteration of the stable on both Twitter and AEW's flagship show, Dynamite.

If AEW has any plans to reform The Horsemen, All Out would be the perfect occasion to reveal the stable at its full strength. FTR will challenge for the AEW Tag Team Championship. The former NXT, SmackDown, and RAW Tag Team Champions will also have the legendary Four Horsemen member, Tully Blanchard, in their corner.

It all looks like a perfect set up for such a big revelation. Moreover, FTR's association with Tully Blanchard almost guarantees Shawn Spears' slot in the new faction. It would be exciting to see who the fourth and final member turns out to be.

#4. Split up Kenny Omega and Hangman Page

Ever since "Hangman" Adam Page's loss to Chris Jericho at AEW All Out last year, the cowboy has expressed interest in leaving The Elite. Although his friends didn't leave him on his own until recently, there has been dissension between Hangman and the rest of the Elite for some time. Surprisingly, this also includes Page's tag team partner, Kenny Omega.

Despite the tension, Page and Omega have gone on a tear as the AEW Tag Team Champions for the better part of this year. However, over the last few weeks, it has started to look as if the two are finally ready go down separate paths.

While Omega is seemingly reverting to his heel roots, Hangman has been enjoying the company of FTR lately. Satuday's tag team match will have hundreds of thousands, if not millions, of eyes on it, so several major angles could come out of it.

Whether Kenny Omega turns on Page or vise versa, it's finally time to pull the trigger. Split up this tag team and let these two individuals return to singles competition in AEW.

#3. Keep Cody off AEW All Out

Cody is not only one of the executive vice presidents of AEW but he is also one of the biggest stars the company has to offer. Everything, from his promos and entrances to storylines and matches, is proof that the former TNT Champion is the face of the company.

Every pay-per-view that AEW has held so far has featured Cody in a prominent match. However, that doesn't appear to be the case on Saturday night. A couple of weeks ago, Mr. Brodie Lee of The Dark Order dethroned Cody as the TNT Champion and launched a brutal post-match assault on the leader of The Nightmare Family.

Since then, Cody has remained off television. In his absence, Dustin Rhodes, QT Marshall, Scorpio Sky, and Matt Cardona will attempt to avenge the heinous attack by taking on the Dark Order at AEW All Out.

It's fair to assume that at some point in the match, Cody could return to take out The Dark Order. However, this storyline would become even more personal if Cody sits out tonight's show and lets The Dark Order reign supreme.

Cody's absence at the biggest shows of the year due to The Dark Order would give fans a reason to buy into Cody's anger when he makes his triumphant return.

#2. Tease more dissension between Wardlow and MJF

As much as the fans enjoy the pairing of MJF and Wardlow, it is bound to blow up one day or the other. AEW has already planted the seeds for the eventual split as Wardlow wasn't good enough to guarantee a victory for MJF on more than one occasion.

Tonight, MJF will face Jon Moxley for the AEW World Championship. While some people believe it's too soon for MJF to become the world champion and lead the company, others have expressed their support for a title change.

The fact that both stars haven't been pinned or submitted in AEW so far makes this fight seem like a big deal. However, one star has to lose tonight and it's highly unlikely that it would be Moxley.

So, how can AEW have MJF lose at All Out while ensuring that he doesn't lose any momentum that he has picked up over the last year? Wardlow should accidentally cost MJF the match. This would make MJF look strong in defeat and put the fans one step closer to witnessing the implosion of MJF and Wardlow's alliance.

#1. Set up a highly-anticipated rematch from AEW Full Gear 2019

Last year, Jon Moxley and Kenny Omega put the entire wrestling world on notice with their brutal Lights Out match at AEW Full Gear. Since then, the two have steered clear of each other and thrived in their respective divisions.

Even though Kenny Omega lost against Jon Moxley at Full Gear 2019, he made it clear that he would be back for Moxley. With Moxley reigning as the AEW World Champion and Omega all set to embrace his "Cleaner" persona from his NJPW days, it looks like the rematch of the century is finally upon us.

In case the Casino Battle Royale takes place after the tag team Championship match tonight, we could see The Cleaner enter as the surprise entrant no. 21 and win the match. This victory would guarantee Omega a world title shot in the future.

Moreover, if Moxley retains his title tonight, he would have no option but to cross paths with Omega yet again. So, we fully expect AEW to go that route tonight and plant seeds for Moxley vs. Omega II.
