On the episode of RAW after SummerSlam 2019, The Boss Sasha Banks made her long-awaited return to WWE TV. Banks hugged her friend Natalya in a heartwarming visual, but suddenly launched a vicious attack on her, turning heel in the process.

Soon after, she attacked WWE RAW Women's Champion Becky Lynch, hitting her with a series of chair shots. Banks also revealed a new look that consisted of blue hair. She is all set to face Becky Lynch tonight at Clash of Champions, in a RAW Women's title match.

Sasha Banks had been absent from WWE TV ever since her Women's Tag Team title loss at WrestleMania, and her disappearance from TV had led to a string of rumors about her leaving the company for good.

It was later reported that Banks had asked for time off after 'Mania. WWE recently presented another edition of WWE Chronicle, featuring Banks. The Boss talked about several incidents from the past in the feature and here's a look at five important points.

#5 On wanting to take a break after 'Mania

As we've discussed above, Sportskeeda's Tom Colohue had reported a while back that Sasha Banks had asked for some time off after 'Mania. It isn't shocking if one looks at it through Sasha's perspective. She has been a WWE mainstay for a long while, and deserved a break from the weekly action and travel.

And then an hour later he (Sasha's husband) was like, 'Yeah, if you wanna leave, I'm 100% behind you', because he's seen how much I've changed. He's seen how sad I was.
I knew I've been so far gone from myself that I just had to go, they say all the time, if you're not having fun you need to go, and I wasn't having fun.

#4 Her emotions before her match at 'Mania

At one point in her career, Sasha Banks was the cornerstone of the Women's division alongside Charlotte Flair. Fast forward to WrestleMania 35 and Banks was in a Tag Team title match, while Flair and Becky Lynch were headlining 'Mania. Sasha talked about her emotions before her match at the event.

I had zero feelings going out there. And that's everybody's dream, to be on WrestleMania. What the h**l? I have no feeling? I wasn't trying to pump myself up like I normally do. I walked out there and looked up to the crowd and thought, this is it, I'm done.

#3 Banks felt that wrestling was destroying her life

It's no secret by this point that WrestleMania season was possibly the absolute lowest point of Banks' Pro Wrestling career. At one point in the chronicle, Banks stated that this business was the only thing she had since she was a little girl, and although it saved her life, she felt that it was destroying it at that point.

I've missed it so much, because all I've had since I was a little girl was wrestling. And, wrestling saved my life, and I felt like it was destroying it, so I wanted to take a step back and figure out what that problem was.

#2 On rumors of her crying on the floor at WrestleMania

Soon after Banks' disappearance from WWE TV, rumors began circulating that both Banks and Bayley cried on the floor and caused a ruckus following their loss at WrestleMania. Although this was an incredibly crazy thought, there were many fans who believed it and slammed Banks for the same on social media. Banks finally put the rumor to rest, and stated that it was far from the truth.

I just like, ‘How the h**l do they make up this stuff too,’ like I saw so much stuff like ‘crying on the floor of a locker room’, No. I took my clothes off, got dressed and went to go stand with the fans with Pam (Bayley) watching the main event because I was so happy for those girls.

#1 How Paige's injury affected her

The fateful night of December 27, 2017 saw Banks kicking Paige during a house show match, which resulted in the latter suffering an injury and forcing the referee to stop the match. Banks was an emotional mess while talking about Paige's injury, and how it affected her.

I just felt like... don't make me cry! So many bad things just kept happening and I didn't know how to deal with them, and I really think what really started it all, like feeling sad, was the whole Paige situation... that really s**ked (cries), and having fans like, destroy me, destroy my work... I pride myself on my work so much, and I would never intentionally try to hurt somebody. That s**ked and that made me question myself as a wrestler.
