WWE Money in the Bank 2020 is set to take place this Sunday. WWE revealed a few weeks ago that this year's Money in the Bank Ladder matches would be very unique. Both the men's and women's matches will take place simultaneously at the WWE HQ in Stamford, CT. That is, the match will start from the ground floor of the Titan Tower and end on the roof of the building where the briefcases will be hanging.

According to reports, the ladder matches were taped a few weeks ago while the remaining card will air live from the WWE Performance Center on Sunday.

WWE has had a tough time with their TV ratings and viewership is at record low numbers. So it is more important than ever that WWE makes the right creative decisions this Sunday. In this article, we will take a look at five things that must happen at Money in the Bank 2020:

#5 Drew McIntyre retains his WWE Championship against Seth Rollins

The WWE Championship feud on RAW has been very entertaining. Seth Rollins wants to lead RAW as the Monday Night Messiah and take the burden off Drew McIntyre. Rollins said that McIntyre is not ready for this task. In response, McIntyre said that Rollins is a fraud and no one wants him to be a leader of anything.

Some fans are unhappy that The Scottish Psychopath has been over pushed, which is certainly not the case. McIntyre defeated Brock Lesnar & The Big Show in back to back matches at WrestleMania. And in his month-long title reign, he has been booked as a dominating champion.

McIntyre needs more wins under his belt before he drops the title. He should stay champion and WWE does not need to rush a title change.

#4 Shayna Baszler wins Women’s Money in the Bank Ladder Match

The participants in the Women’s Money in the Bank Ladder Match are Shayna Baszler, Asuka, Nia Jax, Lacey Evans, Carmella & Dana Brooke. Evans is the only name from the SmackDown who can win the match but there have been no signs that it will happen. It feels very likely that the winner will be from the Red brand.

Talking about RAW, Nia Jax has got a big push ever since her return from injury and she could be the one to win it. Asuka, on the other hand, has done great during these empty arena shows and could also be a good choice to face Becky Lynch. With that said, Shayna Baszler is the most fitting because she still has unfinished business with Lynch. Her defeat at WrestleMania was not at all solid as Becky barely managed to retain the title. So it will be better for WWE to finish this feud before moving on to something new. And since Shayna has been so dominating, she must get the reward for it sooner rather than later.

Another interesting thing to note is that WWE has announced that Becky Lynch will confront the winner of this match on next week’s Monday Night RAW. This might be another indication that the winner is going to be from RAW after all.

#5 AJ Styles wins Men's Money in the Bank Ladder Match

AJ Styles made his return to RAW earlier this week. It was his first appearance since The Undertaker buried him in the Boneyard Match at WrestleMania 36. Styles took part in a last chance Gauntlet Match in which he was victorious. As a result, he earned the last remaining spot in the Men's Money in the Bank Ladder Match, replacing Apollo Crews, who is out due to a storyline injury.

It should be noted that WWE brought back Styles earlier than they originally planned. Some fans were not happy and felt the return was rushed. But this was bound to happen because the weekly ratings are plummeting and WWE is under pressure to deliver a better show.

Aleister Black is a big favorite to win the Men's Money in the Bank Ladder Match. He has been on RAW for a long time but hasn't done anything important. So, this can be a good way to start his big push by giving him the briefcase. But at this moment, it is not the best idea to introduce someone new in the big picture who has never done that before.

Hence, AJ Styles is a much better option to win the briefcase. Moreover, Styles is a heel that makes him a much better opponent for the WWE Champion Drew McIntyre.

#2 The Forgotten Sons become new Smackdown Tag Team Champions

The Tag Team Division on the main roster has been a big concern for WWE. We haven’t seen any teams who could become a genuine threat to the whole division. More so on SmackDown than RAW.

In what could have been a blessing in disguise, The Forgotten Sons were called upon the main roster from NXT after Jimmy Uso got injured. The trio never had much of a chance on NXT. They arrived on SmackDown three weeks ago and have shown many positive signs, including beating the current champions The New Day.

At Money in the Bank, we will see a Fatal-4-Way Match for the SmackDown Tag Team Titles. The New Day will defend against The Miz & John Morrison, Lucha House Part & The Forgotten Sons. Although it might be too early to make a title change, it will be great if The Forgotten Sons can pull off an upset. They can become new champions without pinning the current champions. This is an easy but smart way out for building a new tag team and getting more eyes on them.

#1 Braun Strowman vs. Bray Wyatt ends in a no-contest

WWE Universal Champion Braun Strowman will put his title on the line against Bray Wyatt at Money in the Bank. But WWE has booked themselves in a corner with this match. If Braun Strowman loses, he will be portrayed as a loser yet again. No one will have faith in him as a champion because WWE has booked ''The Monster Among Men'' so poorly in the past.

On the other hand, Bray Wyatt will wrestle as himself and not as The Fiend. So WWE may give Wyatt a loss in this case. But this isn't a good idea because Wyatt got a huge victory at WrestleMania against John Cena. Losing clean to Strowman will make people care even less about him.

So, the only way out is to have the match end in a no contest. No one wins and the feud continues. In this way, the storyline can progress because WWE has no one better than Wyatt who can challenge Braun Strowman right now. The Fiend can wrestle Strowman on some other date where the title change can happen.
