5 things which could happen on Monday Night Raw (03 December 2018)

Will 'Baron Corbin' Get These Hands?
Will 'Baron Corbin' Get These Hands?

WWE Raw emanates from Toyota Center, Houston TX, this week, and if the turn of events from last week were any indication about what we could see in weeks, then expect a great show this Monday night with Baron Corbin in-charge.

The stakes of the match at TLC between Baron Corbin and Braun Strowman are high, but with the recent injury, the match seems to be off the air. While that is a speculation, the fact that this match can change the landscape of the WWE, and also cause a lot of new storylines to begin, we can expect 'The Monster Among Men' to show up and have a major announcement regarding the match at TLC.

While that is still a speculation, there are many other things that can happen on the show, and I list the most important five.

#1 Braun Strowman returns to Raw with an announcement

An announcement like his replacement with the same stipulation is the most possible option
An announcement like his replacement with the same stipulation is the most possible option

The match between Baron Corbin and Braun Strowman has a lot riding on it, and so it is a possibility that the former member of The Wyatt Family would return to address his health and the recovery time.

As the same is unclear at this moment, fans are left to speculate about Braun's health and the match, but if he could come to the ring and decide to make an announcement which shall change the landscape of Raw, then it would really hype the show and the match at the pay-per-view.

An announcement like his replacement with the same stipulation is the most possible option, and if a wrestler that is over with the fans just like him but didn't get the opportunity is named as the replacement, then the segment and show would see a rise in ratings.

#2 Finn Balor is the replacement with the same stipulation

Too Sweet Hands!
Too Sweet Hands!

Finn Balor has a history with Baron Corbin and his team members, and he wants to take out his frustrations on Baron Corbin's henchmen.

The best way to do so would be to face off against someone from the acting Raw General Manager's team, and if The Demon King is able to conquer the opponent, then the current Raw acting general manager would need to leave his job as the authority.

This would be a great way to keep Finn Balor involved in a meaningful storyline and feud before Braun Strowman comes and finishes off what should have happened at WWE TLC.

A feud between Finn Balor and Bobby Lashley would be a great idea as the two have been in a poor storyline for a long time, and this feud would put them back into the main event.

#3 Dean Ambrose helps Dolph Ziggler get a non-title win

Dirty Deeds by The Lunatic

'The Lunatic Fringe' has been on a roll since turning heel, and he has tried to take out The Kingslayer' on multiple occasions during Monday Night Raw. With his absence widely recorded by the WWE, and fans wanting these two to continue the feud, the company could try everything in their power to make this feud the talking point until WrestleMania.

As Seth Rollins issued an open challenge last week and we saw Dolph Ziggler answer it in an unsuccessful fashion, it would only be good if Dolph Ziggler challenges Seth Rollins again this week.

With 'The Architect' never backing down from a challenge, we may see him taking out 'The ShowOff' until Dean Ambrose tries to interfere, costing Seth Rollins the win. If this is a title match, the referee would see Dean Ambrose's interference, while in a non-title match Dolph Ziggler is able to beat Seth Rollins with an assist from Dean Ambrose.

#4 Alexa Bliss sets a match for WWE TLC

Lets accept the fact that there's no one better on the mic than Alexa Bliss in the women's division. The former Raw Women's Champion has been on the sidelines since she suffered an injury after her match with Ronda Rousey a couple of months ago.

After the injury, she was removed from any in-ring competition, including the first ever women's only show, Evolution. Over the weeks she has been doing work on the mic, and last week when Baron Corbin gave her the opportunity to oversee the women's division, she didn't waste a minute in setting up a handicap match situation.

During the Q&A session with Sasha Banks and Bayley, she paved the way for some amazing conversation and a great feud. This week we may see her set up a match between these two teams, only for someone else to join the 'Hug and Boss' connection to even the odds.

#5 AOP is set to defend the tag team title at WWE TLC against Bobby Roode and Chad Gable

Glorious Authors!
Glorious Authors!

Authors Of Pain debuted on Raw and were very impressive since their first match on the red brand. After a long story and some mundane matches, the challengers were put into the tag team championship storyline and were able to capture the titles before The Revival could get their hands on the same.

It might surprise a lot of people, but the fact that they were impressive since their entry on the show, made them hold the titles. On the other hand, Chad Gable and Bobby Roode were absolutely obscure in the storyline until now.

The way Drake Maverick took out 'The Glorious One's robe last week on Raw describes the fact that the company is planning to take their storyline further. This also confirms that the team of Bobby Roode and Chad Gable would be the next contenders for the tag team titles, and it shall be made official on this week's episode.
