WWE holds two of its flagship shows, namely Raw and SmackDown on Monday and Tuesday nights respectively, but what most people fail to remember is the fact that the company also holds a show on Wednesday nights, and it holds equal importance to some in the WWE Universe, due to its entertaining nature.

What was once looked over or ignored, even considered an afterthought, has emerged into one of the biggest brands for the company. With Triple H spearheading this show on the creative front, we have seen more action and less talk on this 1-hour show.

The show has created multiple superstars over the years, and most of them are doing well on the main roster. The company aims at creating more superstars, and is constantly adding more names to the yellow brand, with the recent addition being the famous Mia Yim who joined NXT after her Mae Young Classic loss.

HHH and team have an eye for good talent, and they have brought some of the best talents to the WWE Performance Center, who go through rigorous training, and then in NXT, they earn their well deserved spot on the main roster via performances on this Wednesday show.

We have seen some great storylines on the brand, and last week was no different, which leaves us to talk about 5 things that can happen on this week's show.

#5 There will be an Undisputed War

An all out war awaits this Wednesday!
An all out war awaits this Wednesday!

When Bobby Fish cost The War Raiders their NXT tag team title opportunity, he wouldn't have thought that this would mean getting into a war with these warriors.

This week, he along with his fellow Undisputed Era member Adam Cole, face off against The War Raiders, and it seems like these two teams will have a feud that will be remembered on the yellow brand for a long time.

It would be a treat to see them fight it out in the ring this Wednesday.

#4 The Street Profits and The Mighty create a compelling match

Profit for NXT
Profit for NXT

Montez Ford and Angelo Dawkins have been on the losing end against Shane Thorne and Nick Miller over the last few weeks. The feud is loved by fans, and after a hiatus, these two teams shall square off in tag team competition on the yellow brand.

The two teams have shown great athleticism, and also had a promising feud for weeks. It is about time the company builds them as the next tag team championship contenders, and rivals respectively. While Street Profits seem the right choice for the championship gold, the company should also take care of their opponents, and make them the #1 contenders in the process.

This would make some quality TV time and a storyline that will be loved by all, as well as create superstars for the main roster's tag team divisions.

#3 Nikki Cross returns to action

Will In-SAnitY rise again?
Will In-SAnitY rise again?

Nikki Cross was an important factor in revealing Aleister Black’s mystery attacker, and after having wrestled Bianca Belair last month, she needs some good competition.

The twisted one is over with the fans, and that is why anytime she came to the ring after she revealed that she knew the mystery attacker, the fans constantly chanted, 'She has a secret'.

The entire arena has been filled with chants and cheers for her. After SAnitY left the yellow brand, she was looking for a storyline that would bring her back to prominence.

Shayna Baszler defeated Kairi Sane to become the new NXT Women’s Champion at WWE Evolution, and it would be nice to see Nikki Cross rise to the occasion and challenge the champion for the title down the line, after Kairi Sane challenges the 'Queen of Spades' for a rematch.

#2 Johnny Gargano explains his actions

Was it really wrestling?
Was it really wrestling?

Johnny Gargano attacked Aleister Black last week when he was in discussion with William Regal. This shocked the WWE Universe. When the dust settled, it became clear to everyone with regards who attacked 'The Dutch Destroyer'.

Mr. Black was involved in a powerful storyline, and was an opponent in a triple threat match with Tommaso Ciampa and Johnny Gargano before he was found unconscious in the parking lot just days before the show.

This attack changed the course of the entire match at the show, which led to an inquiry, and a lot of NXT Superstars were questioned about what they saw on the night of the attack and if they were a part of the same. There was no evidence until Nikki Cross appeared and stated that she knew the attacker.

The attack by 'Johnny Wrestling' cleared any confusion, and we will hear from the most loved WWE NXT Superstar about his actions from last week.

#1 William Regal announces the challengers for the NXT Championship

Who is the challenger?
Who is the challenger?

William Regal was about to announce the challenger for the NXT Championship at TakeOver: WarGames last week, before Tommaso Ciampa interrupted the GM. The interruptions continued as Velveteen Dream came out to state that people deserve an experience, which wasn't received well by Lars Sullivan, who had a challenge of his own.

The war of words between 'The Freak' and 'Dream' became physical after some time, but it was Nikki Cross who returned to the ring during this segment and reiterated her warning - “He’s coming”. This led us to see Aleister Black in the ring, and we saw him take out 'The Freak'.

After these turn of events, the NXT GM was unable to complete his announcement, and we may see him finish it today. The biggest question that remains on everyone's mind is, will the match be a triple threat, or a one-on-one match at the show?
