5 Things WWE Must Do Next Week On Monday Night Raw

What will unfold next week on Monday Night Raw?
What will unfold next week on Monday Night Raw?

What happens next?

As cliche as that phrase might sound to pro wrestling fans it has to be what a great number of them are asking themselves after what transpired in throughout Monday Night Raw. In fact, between Roman Reigns announcing he had cancer, Braun Strowman turning babyface and Dean Ambrose turning on Seth Rollins, they have to be at least a little excited about the future.

With that being said, how should WWE capitalize on all this and what should they do moving forward to make sure things go smoothly in Roman Reigns' absence. While its impossible to have all the answers to those very important questions, there are some things WWE could do to try to maintain the momentum they created this week on Raw.

As always let us know your thoughts in the comments below and be sure to tell us what you think WWE needs to do after a very emotional Monday Night Raw this week. Also, tell us what your favourite memory of Roman Reigns' career has been so far and if you think he will eventually return to the ring or not.

#5 Announce Seth Rollins' injury

As crazy as it seems to write WWE's second biggest babyface off of television a week after losing Roman Riegns for the foreseeable future, an injury is the only way to sell the effects of what Ambrose did to Rollins and will also set up Rollin's eventual return. Furthermore, this gives WWE the element of surprise for Rollin's eventual return.

In the end, WWE needs to let this feud simmer a little bit to help keep The WWE Universe on their toes, which is exactly why an injury storyline would be great for Rollins right now! Not only does it open up a lot of storyline options in the short term, but it also allows WWE to raise the stakes once Rollins does return.

#4 Women's title rematch

It's no secret that Ronda Rousey is probably going to clean Nikki Bella's clock at The Evolution pay per view, but that doesn't necessarily mean things have to end there. In fact, WWE should have Nikki Bella invoke her rematch the night after Evolution and use some twin magic in order to win the title from Rousey

Of course, some are probably going to have a problem with that, especially since it would be Rousey's first loss in WWE, but it gives Rousey a chance to chase the championship for a while. Interestingly enough, it would also give WWE a chance to prolong one of their best feuds on television right now, which is an added bonus.

In fact, with everything that has been happening on Monday Night Raw lately and the possibility of other misfortunes happening to the brand in the future, WWE absolutely needs to keep this feud prolonged for awhile. If not, however, they could risk losing their audiences intererst, which is only going to hurt the company heading into the winter months.

#3 Have Ambrose vacate The tag team titles

There's no point in The Shield holding the tag team titles if two thirds of the group are no longer around and while WWE could always just have Rollins defend the titles solo, that wouldn't be a good way to set up the future of the division. Unfortunately for WWE, that means they must once again vacate The tag team titles.

From there, WWE needs to hold a tournament for the tag team titles that are headlined by AOP, The Revival, and Ziggler and McIntyre and eventually name one of the lesser established team as champions. At least that way, it allows fans to get behind a new champion, set up something for the future and remove the titles from The Shield.

Again, it might be the second time the Raw tag team titles have been vacated this year, but there is no way a win is going to be taken seriously by The WWE Universe unless a young team beats another straight up. With that in mind, vacating the titles allows for WWE to refresh the division and avoid delegitimizing a promising team.

#2 Have Brock Lesnar ambush Bruan Strowman

WWE did a great job of building up Bruan Strowman as a babyface this week on Raw, but there are still some finishing touches that need to be done in order to make sure they cement him as the next big thing. With that in mind and WWE not having a lot of time between now and Crown jewel, an ambush would be a great way to gain sympathy for Strowman.

Not only would it be a great sympathy grabber for Bruan Strowman, but it also creates reasonable doubt that The Monster among men will come out of Crown jewel as the winner. Beyond that, an ambush scenario also will make his comeback in the title match more enjoyable for fans to watch, which is another huge plus!

Maybe doing this will have the adverse result of getting fans upset about Brock Lesnar possibly being Universal champion again, but if WWE does it the right way, it's going to pay off for them in the long run. Furthermore, it will help Lesnar look more like a heel, which will really make up for the amount of time he hasn't been on television lately.

#1 Have Stephanie McMahon fire Baron Corbin as Raw GM.

Should Stephanie McMahon fire Baron Corbin as Raw GM?
Should Stephanie McMahon fire Baron Corbin as Raw GM?

WWE needs to start their build towards The Survivor Series pay per view and apart of that is reigniting the feud between Kurt Angle and Baron Corbin. While the two are supposedly set to face off in a seven on seven survivor Series match that has yet to be announced, WWE needs to get there somehow and it starts with firing Corbin as Raw GM.

Think about it! Stephanie McMahon announces that she is unhappy with what Baron Corbin has done as Raw GM and fires him in favor of Kurt Angle. Then, Angle can make things personal by suspending Corbin, which will set up a surprise attack sometime after The Crown Jewel pay per view

From there, all WWE needs to do is announce the seven on seven survivor Series match and start having each star build there team. In the end, Survivor Series is in desperate need of some reworking after Roman Reign's leukemia announcement and while nothing is exactly going ot fill that void, WWE at least has to try by starting this storyline off with a bang.
