This isn't to say that things can't take a turn for the worst, but overall, there has been a lot less to complain about the product in the last month as compared to May and July. WWE has had the luxury of two our of their last three PPVs being fantastic, so they've been able to keep the ball rolling.

There have been improvements on RAW and this week, we could see some whole new twists and turns as the road to WWE SummerSlam concludes. There are undoubtedly high expectations heading into the show and while not all of these can come true, there are possibilities of some really good twists happening on RAW, leading an overall good show. Here are a few of them.

#5. Goldberg appears but for a different role

Goldberg had a bad outing at Saudi Arabia

Goldberg has been the name that Dolph Ziggler has been taking in every opportunity that he has had. He's constantly trashed Goldberg for being a bad wrestler and an embarrassment, as he did with Shawn Michaels as well.

Goldberg is currently rumored to face Dolph Ziggler at the biggest party of the summer, according to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter. Ziggler is currently scheduled for a match against The Miz and that is expected to change tonight.

However, wouldn't it be a surprise if Goldberg comes back, only to declare himself as the special guest referee of their match? It would be a good and fresh role for him and he could ultimately have a payoff of his own by hitting the spear and jackhammer on Ziggler. It would be a win-win without having to see him wrestle.

#4. Drake Maverick pulls off the seemingly impossible

Maria Kanellis has the 24/7 gold!
Maria Kanellis has the 24/7 gold!

Last week, there was a "Mosh Pit" mixed tag team match between R-Truth & Carmella against Drake Maverick and his wife Renee Maverick. Truth and Carmella won, but Mike Kanellis pulled a quick one and pinned Truth for the gold himself.

His wife Maria Kanellis, now pregnant, told Mike to lay down for her and she pinned him for the title. With no superstar on the roster willing to cause any physical harm to a pregnant woman, Kanellis is now the only superstar who freely walks around with the title without having an army chasing her.

However, there is one man willing to do it - Drake Maverick himself.

The 24/7 championship storyline has taken many incredible twists and turns so far, but this could very well be the biggest one yet as Maverick could pin Maria to become 24/7 champion again!

#3. Seth Rollins returns and destroys The Beast Incarnate

Last week, the story between Seth Rollins and Brock Lesnar took its most brutal turn yet as The Beast Incarnate decimated The Beast Slayer in such a way that even his advocate Paul Heyman had to beg him to stop.

He did stop...until Rollins was being carted into the ambulance. Lesnar bulldozed it and hit the F-5 on Rollins onto the same stretcher. Rollins is going to come back tonight with his ribs completely taped up and in all likeliness, he's going to struggle and get beaten down by Lesnar tonight.

However, a good twist in the tale would be if Rollins managed to outsmart Lesnar and bait him in, causing a beatdown of his own. It would be a good twist to the story and would certainly play to the fact that Rollins is the brains (his nickname is literally The Architect) and Lesnar is the brawns.

#2. Bray Wyatt attacks a heel

Bray Wyatt is out on a mission and his next target has been none other than Finn Balor. Balor has shown fear, but he was the one who issued the challenge to SummerSlam. If Finn Balor does appear tonight, then he will likely be victimized.

However, given his recent illness, it's more likely that we see him on SmackDown, where he'll have a confrontation of his own against Bray Wyatt. However, tonight is different. If they want to set a new layer to The Fiend character, then it would be best to have him attack a heel.

It would establish the fact that Bray Wyatt is beyond the entire heel/face dynamic and that he can target anyone and terrorize everyone. It would add a new level of interest to Wyatt as he gets ready for a big win at WWE SummerSlam 2019.

#1. Roman Reigns' attacker isn't who you think

Roman Reigns avoided a major scare

On SmackDown Live, there appeared to be quite an accident at the end as a part of the set had fallen on Roman Reigns. Luckily, he got away unscathed, but it visibly shook him up as the show went off air.

WWE later announced on social media that it was the result of an accident with a forklift and Roman Reigns was quick to forgive the crew.

We all know it was no accident and as you've probably figured, the expected culprit is Daniel Bryan, who Reigns is rumored to be feuding with at or post-SummerSlam. However, screenshots from last week's SmackDown showed a vague resemblance of none other than Buddy Murphy, who could end up being Roman Reigns' surprise attacker.

Murphy vs Reigns would be a really good feud, whether it's a one-off or a normal PPV.
