The first mega-event of the calendar year, Royal Rumble, took place 10 days ago. The 2018 edition of the historic PPV was one of the best Rumble in years with amazing booking and great matches.

A lot of superstars have featured in the match over the years, with a particular superstar, Beth Phoenix, becoming the first ever to feature in both Men's and Women's Rumble matches! As many as seven superstars have won the Rumble match more than once, with the Rattlesnake Steve Austin completing a hattrick.

We have a new iron-man every year, but these five wrestlers have made quite a few iron-man appearances!

#5 Rey Mysterio 3:29:25

Rey Mysterio's 2006 win was monumental
Rey Mysterio's 2006 win was monumental

The record holder for the most time spent in a single Rumble match, Rey Mysterio has quite a few notable matches at the Rumble. He became a part of an elite club featuring superstars winning from the opening spot, and Mysterio went on to headline Wrestlemania in 2006.

Rey Mysterio returned to WWE after four long years in a major shocker during Royal Rumble this year and is expected to return full time soon. Rey Mysterio is one of the biggest babyfaces WWE has ever had, and his underdog persona has led him to garner a lot of time in the Royal Rumble matches!

#4: Kane 3:38:46

The Big Red Machine Kane is a Rumble legend
The Big Red Machine Kane is a Rumble legend

The Devil's Favorite Demon, Kane held the record of most eliminations made in a single Rumble match, until Roman Reigns broke it in 2014. He also holds the record for entering the most Royal Rumble matches, so it's hardly a surprise that he features in this list.

Kane has had a Hall of Fame-worthy career in WWE and looks to be on his way out soon after putting over Braun Strowman for three months in his latest run with WWE. Kane could be ending his career at this time as picturing him entering the Rumble next year is quite difficult!

It's a travesty that Kane never got around to winning the Rumble match at least once in his career.

#3 Shawn Michaels 3:42:30

HBK gave some memorable performances at the Rumble!
HBK gave some memorable performances at the Rumble!

The first ever superstar to win the Rumble match entering at No.1, Shawn Michaels gave quite a few legendary Rumble performances in his glittering career. Shawn Michaels was known as Mr.Wrestlemania, so it's hardly a surprise to see him be the King of Rumbles too.

Shawn Michaels is another superstar who is definitely not adding to his cumulative time, as he intends to stay retired after the remarkable Career v Streak match back in 2010. Michaels had one hell of a last Rumble match in 2010!

The Heartbreak Kid is one of the greatest ever to feature in WWE!

#2 Triple H 3:59:57

Love him or Hate him, Triple H is an iconic figure in WWE
Love him or hate him, Triple H is an iconic figure in WWE

The current COO of WWE, Triple H is the only 2-time winner to feature in this list. Triple H won his first ever Royal Rumble match back in 2003, and recently in 2016 during the heights of Authority era.

Triple H has had a glittering career in WWE, winning an astonishing 14 world titles alongside a host of other achievements. He has headlined several Wrestlemanias during his storied career, and continues to wrestle occasionally to this day!

One thing's for sure, Triple H is going to add to this record in future!

#1: Chris Jericho 4:58:12

You've got to be a stupid idiot to hate Jericho!
You've got to be a stupid idiot to hate Jericho!

The Ayatollah of Rock'n Rolla, one of the G.O.A.T's of professional wrestling, Chris Jericho is a living legend. His last Rumble match in 2017 at the age of 46 saw him stay in the match for well over an hour, making him the longest survivor of the match.

Chris Jericho has had quite a few iron-man performances in Rumble in the past but surprisingly has never won the mega-match. Chris Jericho left WWE back in May last year, but given his recent five-star performance against Kenny Omega, Y2J's still got it!

All we need is another Chris Jericho run in WWE, don't we?
