Fans have speculated for so many years what CM really stands for in CM Punk’s name. Some wonder if it stands for “Chicago Made” as he hails from Chicago, Illinois. Some believe it means “Cookie monster” knowing his love for cookies.
CM Punk himself has not given a clear explanation for the “CM” initials. In an interview, CM Punk said he tells people that CM stands for C. Montgomery Burns; as in Mr. Burns from The Simpsons. He has also suggested that it can mean Crooked Moonsault or Charles Manson or Chuck Moseley.
One name that really fits the abbreviation is “Chick Magnet”. It was the name of a tag team he was thrown into at the last minute while he was still wrestling in the Indies.
However, this name perfectly fits his charismatic persona given that he has always had a way with the ladies. He has hooked up with about a dozen fellow wrestlers. And surprisingly, he has been on good terms with almost all his ex-girlfriends.
