5 WWE feuds that we would like to see in the fall of 2019

Remember this?
Remember this?

One of the biggest news-stories in wrestling in 2019 was the appointment of Paul Heyman and Eric Bischoff as the Executive Directors of RAW and Smackdown. Although it was initially met with a lot of skepticism, it is safe to say both Heyman and Bischoff has adjusted rather well to the position.

We mean, the proof is in the pudding as both RAW and SmackDown has improved by leaps and bounds since the duo took charge.

The storytelling has been the most coherent in recent memory, the matches are being given time and there is a sense of purpose in all the major segments, something which was missing from WWE Programming for quite some time. With that being said, the company shouldn't rest on its laurels yet.

The company needs to build on its recent hot streak as we head closer to October. With competition knocking at its door in the form of AEW, the company needs to stay its course to stay atop the pro wrestling business.

With that being said, here are five feuds that we would like to see happen this fall:

#5 The OC (Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson) vs The Viking Riders

This one is going to be a fight
This one is going to be a fight

A few weeks ago on RAW, we saw Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson of The OC going at it with The Viking Raiders during the tag team turmoil match.

The two groups were at each other's throats to such an extent that the Referee had to disqualify both the teams. Following the match, Erik and Ivar cut a backstage promo vowing to destroy the OC.

We haven't seen or heard anything from either The OC or The Viking Raiders regarding the same in the weeks following the event but it is safe that the company might be planting the seeds for a future feud between these two teams.

WWE's handling of their tag team division has widespread criticism from both fans and critics for years now. But, if the past weeks have been any indication, the company is slowly but surely trying to revitalize the division.

A feud between The OC and The Viking Raiders might just be the shot in the arm that the division needs at the moment.

The OC and The Viking Raiders are no strangers to one another and faced off numerous time in New Japan and ROH.

This one is going to be an absolute hoss fight between two teams who wouldn't want anything more than to beat the holy hell of one another.

#4 Sasha Banks vs Asuka

Asuka and Sasha Banks

One of the most underutilized talents on the main roster, it is easy to forget that Asuka was the SmackDown Women's Champion at the start of the year. She defeated the company's biggest Superstar, Becky Lynch at the Royal Rumble to retain the title.

But, things haven't looked up for The Empress lost her title to Charlotte Flair on an episode of SmackDown Live, just weeks before WrestleMania 35. Things haven't looked up for the Japanese Superstar ever since as she never got her rematch for the title and was reduced to being a minor footnote in the Women's Battle Royale at WrestleMania 35.

Although her pairing with Kairi Sane looked promising at the start with many feeling that the duo can help revive the women's tag division, that sadly hasn't been the case at all.

After failing to capture the Women's tag team division on two separate occasions, it seems like the company has completely given up on the Japanese duo, which is quite sad considering how talented both these women are.

With SmackDown moving to FOX, reports have started emerging about a potential re-shuffling of talents on both brands and the demise of the Wild-Card rule. If this does end up happening, we should like to see Asuka move over to RAW. She is a great singles competitor and deserves better.

Sasha Banks has made a huge splash following her return to WWE at the RAW after SummerSlam.

The Boss is currently scheduled to face off against Becky Lynch at Clash of Champions for the RAW Women's Championship. Given the wave the momentum that Banks has had following her return, we wouldn't be surprised to see Banks dethrone Lynch and become the top Superstar in the female division on Monday Nights.

A feud between Asuka and Banks for the RAW Women's Championship would be a breath of fresh air for the Red Brand's women's division. The matches that these two could have alone would be worth every single penny.

#3 Bayley vs Kairi Sane

Much like her Kabuki Warriors tag team partner, Kairi Sane hasn't done anything substantial since her main roster call-up following WrestleMania 35. The winner of the inaugural Mae Young Classic was one of the brightest Superstars of the women's division during his time in NXT.

Sane defeated Shayna Baszler to win the NXT Women's Championship at NXT Takeover: Brooklyn IV. Her title win wouldn't last long however as Baszler recaptured the Championship, two months later at WWE Evolution.

Bayley's heel turn on this week's RAW was one of the most shocking moments in recent memory. Her promo on SmackDown Live explaining her actions was one of the strongest promos that The Hugger has delivered to date, in our opinion.

Following her turn to the dark side, Bayley would need babyfaces to challenge her for the SmackDown Women's Championship. There have been rumors about Liv Morgan potentially challenging Bayley for the title shortly but we believe Kairi Sane would be a better opponent for Bayley.

Sane is one of the gifted performers on the roster and is someone who can bring out the best in Bayley. With the right build and circumstances, this has the potential to be one of the best feuds of 2019.

#2 Aleister Black vs Randy Orton

Black Vs Orton has money written all over it
Black Vs Orton has money written all over it

One of the most decorated world champions in WWE history, Randy Orton has been killing it on SmackDown for the past weeks.

The feud against Kofi Kingston seems to have completely revitalized Randy Orton. Orton has been at his menacing best and his partnership with Scott Dawson and Dash Wilder of The Revival has paid huge dividends for The Viper.

Orton is set to face off against Kingston for the WWE Championship at Clash of Champions where many are expecting him to dethrone the New Day member and become the new WWE Champion.

Aleister Black, on the other hand, has been pleading for people to step up and pick a fight with him. It is a different matter altogether that the Dutchman has virtually obliterated every single challenger he has faced but the lack of direction has severely hurt his momentum on the main roster.

Black is still undefeated in singles competition (on the main roster) and would be the perfect person to defang the Viper.

Black vs Orton will be an interesting clash of styles. The Viper is known for his slow, methodical style whereas Black is someone who is known to turn up the volume as soon as the bells ring.

This is one of the most fascinating feuds that WWE can build at the moment. Even if this match doesn't involve the WWE Championship, we would like to see Black and Orton go at it in a blood feud as we believe that this could be a huge cash-cow for WWE.

#1 Samoa Joe vs Seth Rollins

If the finish to this week's King of The Ring quarterfinals match between Samoa Joe and Ricochet was any indication, it is that the company is finally starting to protect The Samoan Submission Machine. Joe is one of the favorites to win the KOTR tournament.

Rollins was the very first victim of Joe's wrath when he debuted on the main roster in 2017. The duo had a short-lived feud following WrestleMania 33 which Rollins won. Although we have seen the two former ROH standouts cross-paths several times in the recent past, they haven't really had a lengthy singles feud.

Despite being one of the most popular Superstars on the roster, Joe has been a chocker when it comes to championship matches. The California-native has come inches close to winning a world title on multiple occasions.

At this moment, there aren't many credible heels on RAW who can challenge Rollins for the Universal Championship. Drew McIntyre momentum has taken a severe hit over the past few weeks and we don't want to see the company rehashing the Rollins-Styles feud once again. Joe is someone, who despite his win-loss record, will always remain over with the crowd.

Joe vs Rollins for the Universal Championship could be a great feud heading into the fall. Joe is someone who is known to push his opponents to the edge.

Just think of the kind of things that Joe would do to get under the skin of Rollins. Rollins and Joe are two of the best in-ring performers in the company today and the matches between them will be nothing short of astounding.
