WWE has one of the strongest rosters it has had at this point in time. While Superstars like Roman Reigns, Seth Rollins and Randy Orton continue to lead the roster, there are a lot of Superstars who will be getting the spotlight on them and a major push soon.

With growing competition from other promotions, and WWE making Paul Heyman the Executive Director of RAW, many unconventional superstars will finally get a chance to shine. It is certainly an interesting time to be a WWE Superstar today.

Let us take a look at 5 Superstars who are set to get a massive push as per backstage reports:

#5 Andrade

There have been multiple reports that crop up from time to time stating that Vince McMahon is quite pleased with the Mexican Superstar. However, initially, McMahon did not want to push Andrade because of his poor English.

However, it has been reported recently that Andrade has 'people in power' behind him, and he is likely to get a major push soon. It is quite possible that Andrade might end up as a finalist in the on-going KOTR tournament.

Here is what Dave Meltzer of WON has stated:

There are people who… he has people in power who are behind him, yet they don’t do anything with him so it’s kinda a weird thing, but I guess now is the start of attempting to do something with him.”

Andrade is a former NXT Champion but is yet to win his first main roster Championship. He has provided the fans with stellar matches with the likes of Rey Mysterio and Apollo week-in and week-out, so we are quite hopeful that El Idolo will soon get his major push.

#4 Cedric Alexander

Anyone who watched Cedric Alexander in 205 Live knows that this young Superstar is one of the best high-flyers in WWE today. Unfortunately for the former Cruiserweight Champion, he had floundered on the main roster and failed to make an impact.

Luckily for Cedric though the Executive Director of RAW, Paul Heyman, is a huge fan. As per WON, Alexander is high on the list of Superstars Heyman is looking to push as he believes the teenage audience will relate to Alexander's high flying style.

#3 'The Fiend' Bray Wyatt

This shouldn't really come as a surprise to anyone seeing that Wyatt has turned The Fiend into one of the hottest acts in WWE today. However, what is truly interesting is that the reason behind Wyatt's massive push isn't merely the fact that Wyatt has been doing an amazing job - but the fact that WWE is highly impressed with the merchandise sales.

Here is what Cagesideseats stated:

Based on the quantity of merchandise for Bray Wyatt’s new gimmick that was available in Toronto for SummerSlam, expect a big push for The Fiend and Firefly FunHouse.

#2 Braun Strowman

From being left off the card at SummerSlam to becoming the RAW Tag Team Champion and being involved in a story with the Universal Champion Seth Rollins, Strowman has surely regained relevance on RAW.

As predicted by Sportskeeda's Tom Colohue, Paul Heyman is behind the recent push of Braun Strowman. Heyman wants to unleash the monstrous side of The Monster Among Men yet again, and we could see a much grittier of the Monster soon.

“The idea is to get Strowman back to his roots as a monster, just destroying everything in his path. He hasn’t been used as effectively as he could be.”
Heyman’s still the same guy who brought you ECW. He likes the technical style but he also likes big, destructive forces of nature. Braun is perfect for that.”

#1 Ricochet

Paul Heyman continues to be extremely high on Ricochet, as he believes that Ricochet will help bring in more teenage viewers. While Ricochet lacks good mic skills, he more than makes up for that with his exceptional in-ring athleticism.

As per Whatculture, speculation is rampant that WWE has already chosen the KOTR winner and it will most likely be either Ricochet or Baron Corbin.

While Corbin continues to be a favorite of Vince McMahon, It is highly doubtful that WWE will have him win the KOTR especially after his tepid run as the number one contender to the Universal Championship.
