5 WWE Superstars Vince McMahon didn't push after they got injured

T
The business can be dreadful for your career sometimes

In such a competitive industry, WWE continues to remain the most pivotal wrestling promotion in the world, and they have always maintained the policy of keeping their superstars fit and agile.

Most of the superstars that are provided with the golden opportunity to perform between the ropes end up having unfortunate injuries that depreciates their credibility in the management's eyes.

While superstars like Bray Wyatt, Luke Harper, and Rusev were expected to be pushed somewhere down the line after returning from injuries, the company continues to focus more on protecting them, rather than pushing them.

Considering that WWE possesses the most talented roster in the company's history right now, the fans continue to expect these superstars to be pushed in the main-event picture.

Here are 5 WWE Superstars Vince McMahon didn't push after they got injured.

#1 Cesaro

Wh
When will his day come?

Despite being one of the most talented performers in the history of the industry, Cesaro's insane athleticism has never got its due in the WWE.

The Swiss Cyborg was going to be pushed after he won the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal at WrestleMania after being aligned with Paul Heyman, but got lost in the shuffle after the company decided to pull the plug on it.

While the company was already struggling to promote WrestleMania 32 as a visual extravaganza, Cesaro then had a rotator cuff injury. Many WWE fans expected the Swiss to hit the right chord when he returned back to the business. However, things haven't been the way they were expected to be.

Vince McMahon remains stagnant on his notion about Cesaro, with the Chairman mentioning his lack of the 'it' factor keeping him away from grabbing the brass ring in a podcast with Stone Cold Steve Austin.

There's no denying that Cesaro has enjoyed his time with Sheamus as a tag-team, but his potential still remains untapped within the business, and his injury might have caused it.

#2 Sasha Banks

The Boss des
The Boss deserves the world

It's a damn shame that regardless of putting the women's division on the map, Sasha Banks' credibility as a female competitor has been diminished in the past couple of years.

Her booking has been downright terrible, and while the company did tease an epic feud with Bayley, it was cancelled, and disappointed the fans, yet again.

It has been reported that Mr. McMahon does not view The Boss as a safe worker, and considers her too 'injury-prone' while performing in the ring.

Considering that she's been injured a lot of times in her career for her agile and athletic style of wrestling, the company focuses more upon pushing talent that can be reliable while holding the championship gold.

Banks' title reigns have been cut short due to the fear of injuries, and it's a damn shame that she's not even booked for WWE Evolution at the moment.

#3 Sami Zayn

The Underdog from the Underground

Sami Zayn's rise as the heart and soul of NXT is a testament to his incredible in-ring ability and versatility. The Underdog is respected by everyone as a performer, and his natural babyface look made him more appreciable before transitioning to the main roster.

His first main-roster match was an instant hit when he clashed against John Cena for the US Championship, and while he did perform exceptionally well in front of his hometown of Montreal, the former NXT Champion injured his shoulder.

Despite injuring his shoulder, Zayn went on to finish the encounter successfully and concluded the bout the way it was planned to be.

While many saw his performance as an outstanding one, his injury led the management to be more cautious with him, that led his main-roster debut to be completely dissatisfying.

Although he's working in a good position today, Sami is still far from being pushed into the main-event scene, and is still yet to win gold in the WWE.

#4 Finn Balor

ThE
The first ever Universal Champion

One man who was pushed to the moon when he debuted on the main-roster is Finn Balor. The longest reigning NXT Champion felt like an instant success when the company was rumored to be pushing him as the face of the WWE.

While that speculation might not be true, a lot of the fans were genuinely surprised when Balor defeated Roman Reigns clean on his first night on Raw.

The Demon King went on to clash with Seth Rollins for the inaugural Universal Championship, the former suffered an unfortunate shoulder injury during the encounter.

Considering that he did show some willingness to get back in the ring and complete the match he was supposed to win showed a lot about his character and determination.

However, he was coerced to relinquish the title next night on Raw, and his career has never been the same since that night.

Balor continues to be a mid-card performer, but is far from being pushed as a headline act on Monday Night Raw, and his unfortunate injury might have cost him a lot.

#5 Daniel Bryan

<p>
The Yes! Man

There's no denying that a large proportion of the WWE Universe consider Daniel Bryan as the greatest WWE Superstar of all time due to his humane character and in-ring versatility.

While The Beard attained tremendous success in the company very organically, the repercussions of that success were brutal and unforgiving.

Daniel Bryan's quickness cost him a lot, as the former WWE Champion suffered multiple concussions and neck injuries that coerced the company to pull the plug on him.

His WWE Championship and Intercontinental Championship reigns were unfortunate, and cost Bryan a lot as far as his in-ring career and direction was concerned.

Despite announcing his retirement, the Yes! Man has returned to the squared circle after being medically cleared to compete, but there's no denying that he might never reach that ultimate goal of headlining WrestleMania once again.
