5 WWE personnels who are in the wrong roles

Having the right role is crucial in the wrestling business. If you are stuck in a role that does not suit you, then the chances of you living up to your potential are pretty low. It is as simple as that. Now, a professional wrestler's role in the company might not always be his choice. He or she will have to follow orders from the promoters. An exception to this is the independent scene where the wrestlers have a say on their characters.

Coming back to the superstars stuck in wrong roles, the current WWE roster has a lot of victims of the situation. The list takes a look at such wrestlers who would work wonders if they are repackaged.

Kane

Kane

Kane is getting a lot of television time now. He is also near the main event scene as we speak. However, the entire director of operations gimmick is not what the fans want from Kane. Beneath the suit, there is a dormant big red monster that we all want to see. However, as Batman once said, it is not what's beneath you, it is what you do that defines do.

What Kane does now is the dirty work of The Authority. He interferes in every possible match and looks like a coward in front of Triple H. Kane should shed off this image and bring his mask back. He will be a worthy opponent against the Authority. Also, with the mask, he could have one last run in the title scene.

Adam Rose

Adam Rose

The success of the Adam Rose character down in NXT helped Ray Leppan reach the main roster. Main roster fans, however, found it hard to digest the goofy party gimmick. Despite a good start, the Adam Rose character went downhill with time and Leppan is completely irrelevant now. From the E-60 Documentary of ESPN, the fans got to know a lot about him.

WWE has not banked in on this factor so far, but they should. Letting Leppan take his Leo Kruger gimmick will be a great idea. He could be a great mid-card heel with the gimmick. It is the only way in which WWE could save his career as it is destined to doom with Adam Rose.

Stardust

Stardust

Cody is brilliant as Stardust, period. It is not because the gimmick is good, it is because Cody is good. The guy has been able to pull off almost all the gimmicks that WWE gave him. With the talent he has, it is the main event where Cody belongs to. But with the Stardust gimmick, he is not going anywhere from the mid-card.

With the Dusty Rhodes situation in place, this is the best opportunity that WWE has to bring back Cody Rhodes. He could be put into the main event scene as the Authority's new chosen one or could have a run with the Intercontinental or United States Championship. Cody's growth is limited in the Stardust gimmick and WWE should realize this before it is too late.

Vince McMahon

Vince McMahon

Vince McMahon being the silent string puller in the back is not helping anyone. Most of his booking decisions are out of place and at the same time, his absence in television is there to be seen as well. Vince should bring back the old Mr. McMahon gimmick and have one last run in the WWE programming.

He could be put to some good use in the current situation. Triple H and Stephanie McMahon could have a feud with Vince or they could just take a long break while Vince becomes the top authority figure. The best possible angle for Vince's return will be NXT vs. WWE where Vince leads WWE while Triple H leads his boys from NXT.

Paul Heyman

Paul Heyman

There is nothing wrong with Heyman being the manager of Brock Lesnar. In fact, there isn’t anyone else in the business who could be more convincing in that role. But then again, this is not what Heyman was meant to do. Heyman is someone who challenged big fishes like WCW and WWE from a bingo hall and a shoe-string budget.

This was the guy that gave us memorable SmackDown moments throughout the Ruthless aggression era, the guy that gave us talents like Brock Lesnar, CM Punk, Beth Phoenix and many more. And still, Heyman plays the role of a mere manager.

Heyman deserves to have a creative role in the WWE as he will clearly turn the product upside down. They could even give the charge of NXT to him and see the magic work.
