WWE fans of the Attitude Era look back fondly at that time period in the WWE when each week of RAW was entertaining and action-packed from start to finish. One man who was an integral part on screen and backstage during that glorious time in the WWE is Vince McMahon, the chairman of the promotion.

The Mr McMahon character made him one of the most hated figures in the WWE, as he helped make the likes of Stone Cold Steve Austin and The Rock global icons.

For a long period of time, the McMahon family, and especially Vince, didn't feature much on television. But that has seemingly changed as the McMahon family has taken control of both RAW and SmackDown.

Vince McMahon, since his return to both RAW and SmackDown in December 2018, has had confrontations with Braun Strowman and AJ Styles, making a huge impact in their respective storylines, with the latter even attacking him on SmackDown.

McMahon incited Styles to attack him, which left the chairman on the floor, while the WWE Universe lapped it up. It was certainly a great ploy by the WWE and Vince McMahon to showcase Styles' other side - a side that isn't often portrayed by the top babyface of the company.

Here, let's take a look at 5 WWE Superstars who will attack Vince McMahon in 2019:

#5 Daniel Bryan

Daniel Bryan's latest gimmick since turning heel, one where he plays an anti-capitalist, vegan, and environment-loving character, has got him tremendous heat from the WWE Universe.

On the Royal Rumble go-home show of SmackDown, Bryan even took potshots at the boss, Vince McMahon, calling him and the baby-boomer generation "parasites".

The promo was one that left WWE fans shocked, and seemingly pitted McMahon against Bryan. The "New" Daniel Bryan will go to any lengths to get what he wants and send a message across, and an attack on Vince McMahon can't be discounted!

#4 Bobby Lashley

Bobby Lashley's return to the WWE is finally picking up some steam following his Intercontinental championship win when he defeated Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose in a triple threat match.

Lashley, who is a heel now after debuting in 2018 as a face, has got some heat on him, thanks mainly to his annoying sidekick, Lio Rush. But the Intercontinental champion hasn't had a memorable feud yet, but one involving Vince McMahon could be in the works.

Lashley and Vince McMahon have history, with the two involved in a feud, where Lashley represented Donald Trump in a hair vs hair match against Vince McMahon's representative, Umaga. Lashley won and Vince's hair was shaved following the match by Lashley, Trump, and Stone Cold Steve Austin.

Lashley then went on to feud with Vince McMahon for the ECW World Championship, which he won. WWE could maybe revisit this storyline and bring it back in 2019, with Lashley attacking the boss for screwing him over.

#3 Braun Strowman

Braun Strowman was stripped of his opportunity to face Brock Lesnar at Royal Rumble by Vince McMahon after The Monster Among Men destroyed McMahon's limousine. The storyline has been set up in such a way that Strowman and McMahon will probably revisit it and there could be a possibility of McMahon depriving Strowman of another title chance.

This could maybe anger Strowman which could lead to a beatdown of Vince McMahon, which will certainly get a huge pop from the WWE Universe.

Strowman has for long been touted to hold the Universal title, but he's lost at the final hurdle, mostly to Brock Lesnar, who got the better of him on multiple occasions in 2018.

The Monster Among Men could maybe set up the feud with McMahon by going along the lines that Finn Balor used, telling the boss that he never believed in him, and then attack him.

#2 Samoa Joe

Samoa Joe is in line for a huge push, or at least I hope he is. The former TNA star has all the attributes required of a top star, and he deserves to be in the world title picture. Joe has shown that he takes matters into his own hands to get what he wants and will go any length to get it.

He may not be in WWE title picture anytime soon, considering the title is being held by a heel champion in Daniel Bryan, but we could maybe see him fight for the United States title against Rusev.

Joe could maybe demand more respect and opportunities on SmackDown, which would lead him to Vince McMahon's office and a confrontation between the two could cause Joe to attack McMahon to send him a message and get what he wants.

#1 Drew McIntyre

Drew McIntyre is Vince McMahon's chosen one, or at least that's what Vince McMahon told the WWE Universe during McIntyre's first run with the company.

McIntyre who returned to the main roster in 2018 is a completely different animal: ruthless, dangerous, and a win-at-any-cost mentality. McIntyre has shown that he will destroy those who come in his way, as Kevin Owens and Dolph Ziggler were reminded of what McIntyre could do.

It will be of no surprise if McIntyre turns on Vince McMahon when things aren't going his way or if he feels that he has been cheated of an opportunity. Many have predicted that McIntyre will hold the Universal title by the end of 2019, and maybe an attack on Vince McMahon could help him on his way to that goal.

Vince McMahon has shown that he respects those that stand up to him and demand his respect, and may actually be impressed by those Superstars who attack him.
