5 WWE Superstars who might fare better in the Indys

Neville is perfect as a villain.
Neville is perfect as a villain

As of this writing, it is still not confirmed, but Neville's exit rumour could lead many WWE Superstars to follow him outside the WWE. Neville has been the main highlight of the cruiserweight division ever since he joined it. He took the role of the bad guy perfectly and became the king of the cruiserweights.

He became a reason for people to tune into cruiserweight division which was faltering before his arrival. His feud with Austin Aries was one of the best feuds of the cruiserweight division, they both together delivered some very good matches yet most of the time Neville found his matches relegated to pre-shows of the PPV and could hardly found himself main eventing Raw.

There was a report that he was quite unhappy for a while with one of the reasons being his match with Double-A being left off the official Wrestlemania 33 DVD. Moreover, with Enzo getting more attention and main eventing three Raw in a row, despite Neville deserving it more may have resulted in him deciding to try his luck outside WWE. If the rumours do turn out to be true, it could affect other superstars within WWE too, who are not being utilized and they could follow the same path as of Neville.

Here we take a look at those five superstars who may be tempted by the life outside WWE.

#5 Rusev

Rusev's days may be numbered in WWE
Rusev's days may be numbered in WWE

Rusev is a very talented wrestler and is one who should be given a push, but somehow the WWE officials do not seem to be much interested in him. He has been largely underutilized and has been involved many meaningless feuds. He was once booked dominant but since his loss to John Cena at Wrestlemania 31, he has fallen to the bottom of the mid-card. His favourite thing nowadays is being RKOed outta nowhere, which he does excel at selling.

Hope his hard work gets recognized and he gets his much-needed pus. If not, the life outside WWE will be much better for him.

#4 Viktor/Konnor

Its hard to believe they were such a dominant champion once
It's hard to believe that they were such a dominant champion once

Viktor and Konnor, simply known as the Ascension, are at the bottom of WWE food chain and are prime examples of why success in NXT does not guarantee that you will be successful on the main roster.

They have the looks and build of being the monster tag team. Although they have been the NXT champion for 364 days, they have been treated as a joke on the main roster. There does not seem to be any hope for them, so maybe its time, they should try something outside WWE and find better success.

#3 Cesaro

Cesaro is finally finding success as one half of The Bar

WWE may finally have found to use Cesaro properly, as he along with Sheamus have been awesome as The Bar. They have held the tag team championship two times now and with Braun Strowman and The Miz, they are going to main-event against recently re-united The SHIELD at TLC.

But as great as they are together, Cesaro needs to break out on his own. While Sheamus has been the WWE Champion twice, Cesaro had a forgettable run as the US Champion and has never come close to the WWE title. Ultimately, he would like to have a single run and get rewarded with what he deserves but he may not get that opportunity in WWE and it may propel him to try his luck outside.

#2 Dolph Ziggler

He is that good.
He is that good.

It's finally time for Dolph Ziggler to step outside the WWE, he has done everything from his side yet his work will never be fully recognised by the company. He is deeply stuck in mid-card and may never get out of it.

He is one the best in-ring performer and is capable of delivering solid promos and has been involved in some excellent storylines like the one with Miz last year, but still, his talents are used to put other superstars over rather than helping him being in the spotlight. Thus, its time he should leave because there will be no shortage of suitors for him outside and he will find large success.

#1 Daniel Bryan

His urge to fight may see him leave WWE.
His urge to fight may see him leave WWE.

The crowd's favourite, Daniel Bryan may be one of the most unlucky superstars in wrestling. Despite being overlooked initially, and the odds against him, he did the hard work and turned people in his favour resulting in him getting a main spot at Wrestlemania 30, which was rightly deserved.

He defied every odds and was at the top of the world, but injuries had other plans. He got injured and despite making a comeback for a shorter time. He was again injured, this time it is so severe that WWE didn't allow him to wrestle anymore and subsequently, he retired from WWE and became the General Manager of SD Live.

But his passion for wrestling, despite it being dangerous for him, may fuel him to leave WWE. It may not be the best thing to do but in the end, it's his decision and we should all respect it.
