In WWE, a Superstar's theme song can often help make or break a career. In the right hands, a theme song can become just as big as the wrestler itself. After all, once fans hear that infamous glass shatter, they know Stone Cold Steve Austin is about to raise hell.

Although Superstars such as Steve Austin, The Rock, Shawn Michaels, and John Cena have all had iconic theme songs, not everyone is so fortunate.

Some Superstars have even been saddled with songs they don't like and were obliged to hear the tunes each time they entered the ring and every single time they won a match.

Here are five WWE Superstars who hated their entrance theme songs.

#5: Samoa Joe

There are few theme songs in WWE right now better than Samoa Joe's Destroyer. Much like the man himself, Destroyer invokes a feeling of dread in those who hear it, and the addition of the monstrous sounds only help make the former NXT and United States Champion seem even more dangerous.

However, when Joe first started in WWE, his theme at the time wasn't nearly as impressive. Joe's first theme, Taking it Back, didn't sit well with the former TNA star at all, and on Talk is Jericho podcast, Joe said he wanted to change it as soon as possible.

Fortunately for Joe, help would come in the form of Triple H who helped work with the new signing until the Samoan Submission Machine had a theme he was pleased to walk to the ring to.

#4: Cesaro

With incredible strength, a unique character, and an athletic ability only few can match, Cesaro has the makings of a top star in WWE. However, in seven years the Swiss Superman has been on the company's main roster, Cesaro is yet to hold World Championship gold despite a handful of opportunities in 2014.

Seen as a full-fledged mid-card Superstar, Cesaro recently got a new superhero-esque theme after splitting with his Bar brother, Sheamus, which is seemingly good news, as the Swiss star has admitted he hated his old theme.

A controversial theme, Swiss Made started with a siren and was never a hit with fans. Speaking to ESPN in 2016, Cesaro admitted he wasn't a fan of the song. Though he didn't like his old theme, Cesaro also said he didn't want to go back to Miracle, his old theme song which included rapping.

Now on his own on Monday Night RAW and with his new theme song (which he hopefully likes), perhaps 2020 will finally be the year Cesaro grabs the brass ring.

#3: Randy Orton

In 2008 Randy Orton began showcasing a new and more vicious side to his character. No longer calling himself The Legend Killer, Orton now referred to himself as The Viper and needed a new theme to reflect this change.

Though Orton's theme at the time, Burn In My Light, had become synonymous with the young Superstar, one person who wasn't a fan of the song was the former World Champion himself.

In November 2008, speaking to ProWrestling.net about his original theme, Orton said:

"I wish we could pick our theme music," he said. "For the longest time, I had the Burning My Light or whatever the entrance music was that started with 'Hey, nothing you can say,' and I hated it for all four years. I hated it from the first day I heard it. They even tried to tweak it a bit and I still hated it."

Fortunately for the WWE's Apex Predator, Burn In My Light would be replaced by Voices, a theme that Orton seemingly approves of, since he's had the song for over eleven years now.

#2: M.V.P

MVP as United States Champion

MVP debuted on the WWE main roster in 2006 and instantly made a big splash on SmackDown.

Touted as the biggest signing in the blue brand's history, Montel Vontavious Porter quickly racked up victories, and would soon find himself feuding with veterans like Kane, The Undertaker, and Matt Hardy.

For his first year in WWE, MVP would have a lavish entrance, complete with fire, an inflatable tunnel, and his theme song, I'm Comin.

Though Porter's theme helped give the star an extra spring in his step, the Superstar himself wasn't a fan.

In an interview last year, the former US and Tag Champion said he hated the song and had to pretend to like it to not annoy WWE Chairman, Vince McMahon.

"So I went out by the ring and he was like ‘Yeah, come over here MVP let’s listen to your music.’ They played it in the arena and Vince was very ‘unrhythmically’ bopping to it and he goes ‘What do you think?’ so I said ‘If you like it, I love it boss."

The song would be briefly changed in 2010, though Porter would leave the company by the end of the year.

#1: Edge

In 2002, the Rated-R Superstar was in the market for a brand new theme song. After splitting with Christian the previous year, Edge had adopted Rob Zombie's Never Gonna Stop. However, he had to drop it after a year for a new song.

After much deliberation, the choice was made for Edge to move to 'You Think You Know Me', a decision the future Hall of Famer didn't agree with.

Appearing on Chris Jericho's podcast, Edge said he never asked for the change, but the company had to after the rights to Rob Zombie's track had expired.

"I always hated that 'You Think You Know Me' music because it never fit me and what I actually listen to.
"It just sounded like a bad ripoff with this cheesy voice."

Perhaps the song was bad luck for the Canadian, as not long after receiving it, Edge would go down with an injury in February 2003 which forced him to miss over a year of action. Returning shortly after WrestleMania 20 in 2004, Edge would receive his much more iconic Metalingus song by Alterbridge which he uses to this day.
