5 WWE Superstars who would make great supervillains

Who’s going to stop this guy?

One of the main tools that the WWE have at their disposal is the ability to create larger than life characters. The good guys and the bad guys that you see on screen come across as actual superheroes and, in turn, supervillains. That’s one of the big reasons why the younger demographic is so important, but that’s another story for another day.

Instead, we’re here to run down five of the biggest names in the company who we feel would make great supervillains. Some of these may come across as a tad obvious, but others may surprise you as the criteria for being a ‘supervillain’ can entail many different things. If you’ve got any other suggestions to add to our list, feel free to send them in.

Some people out there may choose to believe in the good in this world, but in a society as bipolar and uncertain as ours, we need to face the reality of the situation: supervillains exist. Hell, if you don’t believe us, go and knock on the front door of the White House and see who answers. You may not make it out alive, but still.

With that all being said, here are five WWE Superstars who would make great supervillains.

#1 Alexa Bliss

Bliss would make a great supervillain

Riddle Me Bliss – how great is that nickname? Honestly, we’ve never seen a better case of wrestling imitating Hollywood than this. Over the last few months, Alexa has cemented herself as one of the best female Superstars of the new era, and during that time she’s borrowed from a couple of different characters including The Riddler and Harley Quinn.

The characteristics suit her down to a tee and kind of answer our question for us. Bliss would be great as the intelligent, underhanded villain who is undervalued by the opposition due to her size. Then, when it's least expected, she'd cause a chain reaction of events that would eventually lead to her demise. Move over Charlotte; there’s a new queen in town.

A Whisper in the Wind is the least of your problems.

#2 Jeff Hardy

Willow is unhinged

We’ve put Jeff Hardy down as one of the entrants, but we really wanted to insert ‘Willow’ into the list. If you aren’t aware, Willow is Jeff’s bizarre alter ego that has been around ever since the Charismatic Enigma first produced the concept art. It’s weird, it’s wacky, and it makes for the perfect supervillain.

Willow would play the role of the unhinged sidekick, eventually breaking off into his own supervillain role as with dozens of minions by his side. His speed and unpredictability would make him an incredibly valuable asset to anyone who teams up with him, despite the fact he can’t be trusted.

Brock smash.

#3 Brock Lesnar

You couldn’t create a better supervillain in a lab

Picture an evil, red version of The Hulk, and you’ve pretty much got our idea in a nutshell. Brock Lesnar is an absolute freak of nature, and his strength is only superseded by his athleticism, which is insane for someone of his size. Seriously, is this a man or a bionic experiment gone wrong?

Lesnar would tear through any superhero in his path, with his victories over John Cena and The Undertaker proving that he doesn’t care about sticking to the norm. For all of you comic book fans out there who love it when the villain actually gets one over on the good guy, you’d best hope that this idea becomes a reality one day.

Hide your children.

#4 Big Show

The World’s largest man would be money in a superhero film

The fact that the World’s Largest Athlete hasn’t actually been cast as a supervillain yet makes us both sad and angry. Honestly, how can casting directors not see that Big Show would be money in any role given to him in a superhero film? The man himself has actually stated that he’d be interested in a role of that nature, most likely as the infamous King Pin.

Big Show has shown that he can act despite some of his less successful movies, and the sheer size of the bloke makes it nigh on impossible to defeat him. If you bless him with some kind of superpower to go alongside all of the traits we’ve just mentioned, then you may just have the first ever unbeatable superhero.

Awesome.

#5 The Miz

The Miz would make for a great mastermind

We said there’d be a surprise or two, and here we are. Despite not necessarily having the stature of someone you’d consider a supervillain, The Miz is as smart and calculated as they come and we can just picture his role now. Slicked back hair, a dark suit, and a multitude of weapons at his disposal.

Miz would have the ability to outsmart his opponents at every turn, and once he’s finally defeated, the audience would feel such a sense of gratification and relief. How do we know? Well, it's because the former Intercontinental Champion is potentially the only heel on the entire roster right now who can get fans to boo him for the right reasons.
