The Elimination Chamber has been a major part of the Road To WrestleMania for the past 10 years. It's been featured as a February WWE pay per view since 2008, with the exception of 2016 (presumably to build the new Chamber pictured above).
Before this Sunday's Elimination Chamber pay per view, a total of 20 matches have taken place inside this brutal match that was created by Triple H in 2002. The first was at the Survivor Series pay per view, and in 2010, the Chamber had its own event.
During the 16 years that the Elimination Chamber has been in existence, a total of 64 WWE Superstars have entered this unforgiving structure. After this Sunday, another 13, including the first six women, will add to that total.

#5 Kane (5 appearances, 0 wins)
When you have career longevity like Kane, you're going to hold a lot of records in the WWE. There are a lot of Royal Rumble records with Kane's name on them, and he also ranks fifth all-time in most appearances in the Elimination Chamber.
Kane took part in the very first Elimination Chamber match at Survivor Series in 2002 where he entered fifth, but was the third one eliminated when Chris Jericho hit him with a Lionsault.
His last Chamber appearance happened in 2013 where the SmackDown star who won the match would go to WrestleMania 29 to face the WWE World Heavyweight Championship that was surprisingly won by Jack Swagger.
#4 Randy Orton (6 appearances, 1 win)
The next three WWE Superstars are tied with six total appearances, so I decided to rank them by number of wins inside the Elimination Chamber. "The Viper" Randy Orton is next on the list having appeared in the second ever Chamber match at SummerSlam in 2003.
Orton was unsuccessful in winning the Chamber match until his last appearance inside the structure in 2014 when he retained the WWE World Heavyweight Championship by defeating Daniel Bryan, John Cena, Cesaro, Christian, and Sheamus.
With the switch to dual-branded pay per views after WrestleMania this year, you could expect Orton to make his first appearance in five years when the Chamber pay per view comes back around in 2019.
#3 John Cena (6 appearances, 3 wins)
John Cena has a piece of WWE history when it comes to the Elimination Chamber match. Cena's first appearance in the Chamber came in the fourth ever Chamber match at New Year's Revolution in 2006. Cena defeated Carlito, Chris Masters, Shawn Michaels, Kane, and Kurt Angle.
After retaining the WWE Championship inside the Chamber, Vince McMahon came out on stage with a big announcement. Edge was cashing in the Money In The Bank briefcase he earned eight months prior at WrestleMania 21.
Cena ranks second by himself in most Chamber victories with three. His last Chamber victory came at the Elimination Chamber pay per view in 2011, and he has lost the last three Chamber matches he's appeared in.
#2 Triple H (6 appearances, 4 wins)
"The Game" Triple H is the King of Kings, and he's also the king of the Elimination Chamber with the most wins ever at four.
He appeared in the first-ever Chamber match at SummerSlam in 2002 losing to Shawn Michaels, but then he would appear in the next two Chamber matches after that winning them both.
He would earn his third and fourth victories in back-to-back years (2008 and 2009) at the respective No Way Out pay per views. Triple H is no longer a full-time wrestler, and his last Chamber appearance was in 2010, but he made his mark in the early history of this match.
#1 Chris Jericho (8 appearances, 1 win)
Chris Jericho has a couple of records when it comes to the Elimination Chamber. He has the most appearances with eight, but he also has the most career eliminations inside the Chamber with a total of ten. Triple H is the next closest in terms of eliminations with seven.
Though Jericho has been in a total of eight Chamber matches, he has only been victorious in one at the Elimination Chamber pay per view in 2010 when he defeated The Undertaker, John Morrison, Rey Mysterio, CM Punk, and R-Truth to win the World Heavyweight Championship.
Jericho was a participant in the first three Chamber matches in history, and his last appearance inside the Chamber came in 2013 when Jack Swagger was victorious.
