Hulk Hogan has run through almost all of his opponents in WWE and WCW. However, he never defeated these five superstars one-on-one.

Hulk Hogan was the top guy in WWE for years before jumping to WCW. Although he started his WCW run as a face, he soon turned heel to join and lead the NWO. Following years of Monday Night Wars, WCW waved the white flag as WWE bought its rival. The change in the pro wrestling landscape led Hogan to return to WWE for another successful run in the early 2000s.

Throughout his long career, Hogan went one-on-one with many top superstars and legends in WWE and WCW. Only a few managed to kick out from the leg drop and survive Hulkamania. However, the five legends on this list have gone the extra mile and successfully achieved the difficult task of defeating the two-time WWE Hall of Famer.

Here are five WWE/WCW legends Hulk Hogan never defeated one-on-one.

#5. Former WWE Champion Brock Lesnar

Brock Lesnar burst into the WWE scene around the same time Hulk Hogan made his way back to the company following his WCW run. Hogan and The Next Big Thing faced each other only once in August 2002 on SmackDown. Despite hitting the Beast Incarnate with two big boots and a leg drop, Hogan failed to pin Lesnar.

As he prepared for another leg drop, Paul Heyman distracted Hogan, allowing Lesnar to take advantage and hit his opponent with a vicious F-5. The Beast then squeezed the life out of The Hulkster with a side bear hug to win the match by knockout.

The two superstars never faced each other again, leaving Lesnar undefeated against Hogan. However, they came face-to-face in ِAugust 2014 when The Beast crashed Hogan's birthday celebration on Monday Night RAW. John Cena interfered before things got physical between Lesnar and The Hulkster.

The Leader of the Cenation rushed to the ring to stand up for Hogan and his company of legends. After an intense stare-off between Cena and Lesnar, the latter retreated and left the ring.

Hulk Hogan has not wrestled in WWE for nearly 15 years. His last match came at SummerSlam 2006 when he defeated Randy Orton.

#4. WWE Legend The Rock

Since Hulk Hogan's return to WWE in 2002, he has shared the ring several times with The Rock. The two former superstars teamed up in four tag team matches and faced each other in a handicap match. However, they went one-on-one only twice.

The first bout between Hogan and The Rock came at WrestleMania X8 in the famous Icon vs. Icon match. Although Hollywood Hulk Hogan fought viciously, he fell short to The People's Champion.

In March 2020, The Rock posted a video to his Instagram to celebrate the 18th anniversary of the Icon vs. Icon match. In the video, he recalled the conversation he had with Hogan after the match:

"When we got to the back, I gave Hogan the biggest, hardest hug I could and I said 'thank you for passing the torch'. He said, 'you deserve it, brother', or something to that effect. 'Carry it well, like I did when Andre passed me the torch.'"

Nearly a year later, the two superstars went head-to-head again in a singles match at WWE No Way Out 2003. Again, The Rock came out victorious to keep his undefeated record against Hogan intact.

#3. WWE Hall of Famer Sting

After moving from WWE to WCW, Hulk Hogan had many battles against Sting. However, The Hulkster was never able to defeat The Franchise of WCW.

While their first bout ended in no contest on WCW Nitro in November 1995, Hogan lost his WCW World Heavyweight Title to Sting in their second face-off in December 1997 at Starrcade.

Since then, they have met 11 times in one-on-one matchups. Hogan has lost eight of these 11 matches while the other three have ended in no contest. The Immortal One was never able to emerge victorious against The Stinger.

While the two superstars never competed against each other in WWE, they battled once in TNA at Bound for Glory 2011. Hogan again fell short against his long-time rival.

While Hogan is now retired, Sting joined All Elite Wrestling last December. The WWE Hall of Famer has had two matches so far in AEW. He teamed up with Darby Allin to defeat Brian Cage & Ricky Starks at AEW Revolution. Sting and his partner also defeated Ethan Page & Scorpio Sky at AEW Double or Nothing last month.

#2. WWE Hall of Famer Goldberg

While they never met in a WWE ring, Hulk Hogan and Goldberg faced each other a few times in WCW.

Hogan and Goldberg shared the ring in different circumstances during their time in WCW but they went one-on-one only once. Their singles bout came on WCW Nitro in July 1998 as they battled for the WCW World Heavyweight Title. The Hulkster, who was WCW Champion at the time, suffered a painful title loss to Goldberg.

The title match was the first time the two legends shared the WCW ring. While they never went head-to-head again, they faced each other in two tag team matches in which their teams exchanged victories. They also teamed up to form a successful tag team alongside Sting. They won all three of the matches where they competed side by side.

The last time Hogan and Goldberg wrestled against each other was in a fatal four-way involving Ric Flair and DDP. It ended in no contest on Nitro in April 1999. Goldberg remains undefeated against Hulk Hogan.

#1. Former WCW Tag Team Champion Vampiro beat the former WWE champ

Vampiro is another legend who holds an undefeated streak against WWE Hall of Famer Hulk Hogan. The two former superstars faced each other only once in a singles match during their days in WCW. It came on the May 22, 2000 episode of WCW Nitro.

Vampiro tried to take advantage early on in the match by attacking Hogan as he entered the ring, but The Hulkster quickly recovered and fought back. The former WWE Champion dominated his opponent and took his time to humiliate him. Although he had many chances to win the match, especially after hitting the leg drop, Hogan refused to pin Vampiro and continued beating him.

While Hogan argued with the referee, Billy Kidman snuck into the ring behind his back and hit him with a weapon to knock him out, allowing Vampiro to take advantage and pin Hogan to score a historic victory.

The two superstars never met again inside a wrestling ring. Following WWE's purchase of WCW, Vampiro left to work for other promotions, including Total Nonstop Action (TNA).
