Every year, dozens of superstars debut in the WWE. While some of them retire early, others continue to stay and entertain the WWE Universe as long as they can.

Among the current roster in WWE, there are also a couple of wrestlers who have been competing and performing for a long time. They have provided some of the greatest moments ever in the history of WWE.

However, these players have also certain constraints and they too will hang up their boots someday.

Either due to physical or owing to personal reasons, these players might feel compelled to discontinue their journey with the organisation.

Their retirement or departure is just a matter of time. We might be disheartened, but it won't be surprised if these players retire before 2019.

Here is the list of five such wrestlers.

#5 Mickie James

Women's division in the WWE has produced a lot of quality wrestlers who have over the years has produced loads of scintillating performances. One such wrestler who made an everlasting impression is Mickie James.

James has won the Women's Championship five times and also won the Divas Championship once.

She has defeated the best of wrestlers in the women's division and has created a legacy for herself.

She also competed in the first-ever Women's Royal Rumble and Women's Elimination Chamber match. However, James might not sustain longer in the WWE.

One major constraint for her is her age. She is 38 years old and for her to continue longer is a real challenge.

Also, among the current breed of young female wrestlers, she is finding it difficult to capture the limelight.

Previously, she competed in other wrestling promotions as well. At present, it seems that the WWE is finding it really difficult to accommodate newer plots and feuds for her.

Therefore, a wrestler of her stature might find it apt to retire with grace and not be a burden for the company. Thus 2018 can very well be the last year for her.

#4 Curt Hawkins

Curt Hawkins has seen a lot of ups and downs in his career in the WWE. In WWE his famous moment is perhaps his stint as the Tag Team Champion.

Apart from that, he teamed up with Zack Ryder and helped Edge to retain his World Heavyweight Championship couple of times. But as far as singles competition is concerned, he has nothing to brag about.

Hawkins has been with WWE for almost 10 years. But the company neither gave him any major push nor gave him enough opportunities to prove his talent.

When his contract ended for the first time, he left for Impact Wrestling (formerly known as TNA). This proves that the company has been reluctant upon Hawkins.

At present, he is having an onscreen streak of losing 150 and more matches. Throughout 2017, he didn't register a single victory.

However, Hawkins is still a young talent and he has age on his side. If WWE continues to neglect him, he can definitely shift gears and look for alternative pro-wrestling organisations by the end of this year.

#3 Kane

Kane won't last longer in WWE

Kane is another wrestler, who might choose to retire in 2018.

There is no doubt that he is one of the greatest wrestlers ever in the WWE, but he is 50 years old now and his physique and health are not what it used to be initially.

Over the year, Kane has presented to us the perfect replica of a demon.

With or without his mask, Kane on his day could rip apart an entire locker room and still stand on his feet. His entrance music, his wrestling moves and his special inferno match, gave him a larger than life image.

However, Kane has lost the significance he used to have in late 90's or in early 2000. We hardly get to see the vicious Kane anymore.

He has also made appearances in various movies and TV Shows. He is also a part-time politician and has plans to take that as a full-time commitment once he retires.

Even though it will be heart-wrenching, but 2018 is probably the last year for Kane in the WWE.

#2 Big Show

Big Show's tenure in WWE is almost over

Paul Wight is a veteran in the WWE and is perhaps the most dominant force to have ever stepped foot inside the ring.

From breaking rings and turnbuckles to breaking opponent's body parts, Big Show has done every possible thing in the WWE. He has won dozens of Championships and has entertained the WWE Universe for nearly two decades.

Starting from WCW to WWF and now in WWE, Big Show has tasted success everywhere. However, of late Big Show has lost the entertainment quotient he used to bring forth in his feuds earlier.

His story-lines are also very customary and there is hardly any wrestler or any kind of matches that he is yet to compete.

Also, Big Show is 46 years old and his body won't permit him to compete for much longer in the WWE. Even in an interview with Yahoo, he stated that he planned to retire in 2018.

#1 Brock Lesnar

Brock's amazing tenure might be end very soon

'The Beast Incarnate' is perhaps the most accomplished superstar ever in the history of WWE. Lesnar won the WWE Championship four times and is the youngest WWE Champion ever till date.

He also won the King of the Ring tournament in 2002 and was the winner of the 2003 Royal Rumble match. He also won the Universal Championship and is the current and longest reigning Universal Champion ever.

However, he left the company before also and competed in other wrestling promotions.

He has a tremendous record in both NJPW and also in the UFC. He has also featured in movies and on various television shows.

At present, he has feuded with almost all big names in the WWE and has defeated all of them. Even the creative team of WWE has failed to generate any new story-lines for him. He hardly ever shows up on RAW and most of his feuds have a very pedestrian outline.

Therefore, it won't be a surprise if he decides to quit after WrestleMania or anytime before 2019.
