6 WWE Superstars who could join the Wyatt Family in 2019

Since returning to WWE in the summer of this year, there have been fewer stars who are more in the spotlight than Bray Wyatt. Making a comeback as The Fiend, Wyatt cemented his darker turn with a decisive victory over Finn Balor at SummerSlam, with the former Universal Champion having failed to make an appearance on the show ever since.

Speaking of the Red Brand, Wyatt laid out a Universal title challenge for Hell In A Cell through an episode of Firefly Fun House. Though Wyatt has been a dominant force so far on his own, there's an old saying that there is strength in numbers, and Wyatt knows the power of a good flock behind him.

Here are six WWE Superstars who could join the Wyatt Family, if the Fiend chooses to pick a couple of Superstars by his side in 2019.

#6 Eric Young

Young has done very little since being called up to the main roster.
Young has done very little since being called up to the main roster.

Eric Young joined the WWE in early 2016, after an impressive career in Impact Wrestling.

In his years with the company, Young captured every title available to him (as well as the Knockouts Tag Team Titles), becoming Impact's fourth Grand Slam Champion.

But since he joined WWE, Young had a fine tenure in NXT, but has been barely used since being called up to the main roster. Much like Wyatt, Young knows a thing or two about leading his own cult, as he led SANITY in NXT, though the group has been disbanded on the main roster.

At the age of 39, Young may not have many years left in his career, and teaming with Wyatt could give the Canadian Superstar his final big push on the WWE's main roster.

#5 Erick Rowan

Rowan made a huge impact on SmackDown Live, attacking Reigns and Bryan.

If you missed this week's edition of WWE SmackDown Live, then you missed the shocking actions of Erick Rowan.

After being revealed as the sole perpetrator behind the attacks on Roman Reigns, Rowan would attack the Big Dog once more, and would also attack his own tag team partner Daniel Bryan.

Since the pair joined forces at this year's Royal Rumble, Bryan and Rowan have been inseparable, even capturing the SmackDown Tag Team Titles together earlier this year.

Though Rowan's actions could set up a solid singles run for the former Wyatt family member, a recent tweet could imply that the company wants the colossal Superstar back with Bray Wyatt.

After Rowan tweeted out a cryptic image and told his followers "I've got no strings to hold me down," Wyatt would ask him to come home, indicating at a Wyatt family reunion.

Both men have clearly grown a lot since they last partnered together, and Rowan is clearly no stranger to following orders. With Rowan by his side, in addition to his new darker Fiend personality, it could be just a matter of time before Wyatt holds Championship gold once again.

#4 Matt Hardy

Hardy and Wyatt have feuded, but also became RAW Tag Team Champions last year.
Hardy and Wyatt have feuded, but also became RAW Tag Team Champions last year.

When Matt Hardy returned to the WWE in 2017 alongside his brother Jeff Hardy, fans were excited. It had been over half a decade since either Hardy had been a part of WWE, and in their time away, Matt had created the entertaining 'Broken' gimmick in Impact Wrestling.

Though it took some time, this damaged side of Matt eventually appeared in WWE as 'Woken' Matt Hardy, and the former ECW Champion even had a feud with Wyatt himself.

After teaming up and capturing the RAW Tag Team Championships, Hardy would later rejoin sides with his brother Jeff, but hasn't been seen on WWE TV in quite some time. This was partly thanks to Jeff's leg injury which forced the pair to forfeit the SmackDown Tag Team titles in April this year.

With Matt being AWOL for months now, having him realign with Wyatt could certainly be interesting, and lead to a darker, more sadistic side to the Woken character.

This could also lead to a very interesting feud between the new Matt and his brother, when the Charismatic Enigma returns from his injury.

#3 Bo Dallas

The Fiend could reunite with his real-life brother as part of the Wyatt Family.
The Fiend could reunite with his real-life brother as part of the Wyatt Family.

On paper, partnering Bray Wyatt with Bo Dallas could not make less sense. Wyatt recently re-debuted as The Fiend, a truly horrific character, hellbent on destruction. By comparison, Dallas has spent the majority of his time on the main roster as a smiling jobber, briefly holding the RAW Tag Team Championships with B-Team partner Curtis Axel.

However, many fans know that these two are a lot closer than what we see on TV, as Bo and Bray are real-life brothers, and the sons of Irwin R. Schyster. The pair did briefly cross paths last year, as it was Dallas and Axel who ended the RAW Tag Team title reign of Wyatt and his partner at the time 'Woken' Matt Hardy.

In an era where social media has led to fans knowing more and more about a wrestler's personal lives, it's practically common knowledge that the pair are related, something WWE could exploit.

After a underwhelming time on the main roster, Dallas could give in to his darker side and join his brother, who has remained a consistently upper mid-carder throughout his tenure.

#2 Liv Morgan

Morgan has hinted at a new, stranger character on social media recently.
Morgan has hinted at a new, stranger character on social media recently.

In the years of the Wyatt family's existence in WWE, six Superstars have been a part of the group - Bray Wyatt, Erick Rowan, Luke Harper, Daniel Bryan, Braun Strowman and Randy Orton.

It doesn't take a genius to figure out a connection that all six of these Superstars have, as there has yet to be a female member of the group. Though fans often wondered whether a female member would come in the form of Sister Abigail, that didn't transpire during Wyatt's feud with Finn Balor in 2017.

If the WWE is ready to push a women's wrestler in the group, then Liv Morgan could be the perfect fit. Despite her bubbly personality, Morgan has recently sent out some cryptic videos of herself that seem to hint at a change in character for the former Riott Squad member.

One video showed Morgan set in the rain, whilst another showed the 25-year-old Superstar cutting off some of her recognisable pink locks. Morgan becoming a member of the Wyatt family would be interesting, to say the least, and could help take her young career to the next level.

#1 Luke Harper

Having Harper in a main event spot alongside Wyatt could convince him to stay in WWE
Having Harper in a main event spot alongside Wyatt could convince him to stay in WWE

One of the original members of the Wyatt Family, Luke Harper was the first member of the group to have championship success on the main roster.

After the group split in 2014, Harper would capture the Intercontinental Championship in the fall of 2014, though his short reign came to an end mere weeks later at the hands of Dolph Ziggler.

After reuniting with the group in 2016, Harper would have more success as part of the SmackDown Tag Team Championships and would capture the gold again last year with Erick Rowan.

Over the past year though, Harper's career has stalled in a major way, as he has been underused for months by the company. Not only that, Harper's requested release was reportedly denied by WWE, who according to reports, added several months to his contract.

There's tension between WWE and Harper, and having the former champion re-join Wyatt could help convince him to re-sign. Alongside Wyatt, Harper would be one of the most used stars on the main roster, and after months of missing out from quality action, being a big deal with the Fiend could be a very tempting offer.
