#7 Big wins for Finn Balor and Ruby Riott

Balor connects with the Coupe de Grace on Lashley

Finn Balor and Ruby Riott are quite possibly two of Monday Night Raw's most underutilized superstars, considering that the two have found themselves in the middle of lacklustre feuds and haven't won any major matches in a while.

However, all of that eventually changed this week on Raw, as former Universal Champion Finn Balor went head-to-head with Bobby Lashley, who in recent weeks has developed a new attitude alongside his manager Lio Rush.

Considering their size difference, fans never really had Finn Balor winning this match, but the leader of The Balor Club proved all his doubters wrong when he pinned Lashley via a roll-up.

Following Balor's shocking win over 'The Dominator', the WWE Universe was in for another surprise as Riott Squad leader Ruby Riott came out victorious in a back-and-forth match-up against 'The Boss' Sasha Banks.

Despite controlling the early stages of the match, Banks eventually fell victim to Riott's finishing manoeuvre, as the WWE Universe witnessed two back-to-back shocking outcomes.

#6 Drew McIntyre's continues to thrive forward

McIntyre puts Strowman on notice again
McIntyre puts Strowman on notice again

Drew McIntyre made his intentions clear after attacking Braun Strowman last week on Raw when the Scotsman hit 'The Monster Among Men' with two devastating Claymore Kicks, leaving Strowman with a nasty eye injury in the aftermath.

Not many superstars on the main roster have the guts to step up to Braun Strowman in a one-on-one fight (or even in a two-on-one fight), however, that did not stop 'The Scottish Psychopath' from making his presence known once again, as this week on Raw, Drew McIntyre put Strowman on notice with yet another Claymore Kick.

'The Monster' was seemingly on the verge of confronting Brock Lesnar's advocate Paul Heyman, however, McIntyre had other things in mind! Check it out for yourself below:

With Strowman currently in contention of winning the Universal Title, McIntyre could very well also be in line for a title shot in the near future.

#5 Nikki Bella fires back at Ronda Rousey

Following last week's aftermath of Ronda Rousey absolutely destroying Nikki Bella on the microphone, this week on Raw, it was Nikki's turn to fire back at the Raw Women's Champion.

After signing the contract, Nikki and Rousey made their Raw Women's Championship match official for Evolution, however, things definitely got intense during the contract signing session, as Nikki Bella was seen taking shots at Ronda Rousey's mother.

Nikki first pointed out the fact that Rousey's mother is going to be disappointed when her daughter comes up short against a "Diva" and eventually put an exclamation mark by slapping Rousey after officially signing the contract.

However, much to Ronda's credit, the Raw Women's Champion stay true to her word and did not put her hands on Nikki Bella like she promised and quietly smiled through the entire segment, only to claim that at Evolution she will put bring an end for Nikki Bella.

#4. Elias turns face

The perfect way to turn Elias face
The perfect way to turn Elias face

Just a few short weeks ago on Raw, Elias quite possibly had the biggest heel heat one could ever imagine in the modern era when he and Kevin Owens brutally insulted the Seattle SuperSonics.

Elias is someone who has always been receiving a reaction from the WWE Universe with every single appearance on Raw and the man who was once known as 'The Drifter' is so good on the mic that the WWE Universe can't help but boo (or cheer at times) for Elias.

Meanwhile, Baron Corbin, on the other hand, has been way too annoying since he took over as standing Raw GM, replacing Kurt Angle and to have Elias brutally take out Corbin with his guitar was a solid way to turn the former face.

Now, from here onwards we'll have to wait and see if WWE actually solidify Elias as a face or continue to push him forward as a heel.

#3 New Raw Tag Team Champions!

Having last won the Raw Tag Team Titles back at SummerSlam of 2017, it was about time that Shield brethren Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose challenged for the Raw Tag Team Titles once again.

With McIntyre igniting a feud with Braun Strowman, it was somewhat predictable that 'The Monster' was going to make his presence known during the Raw Tag Title match which main-event the evening and that is exactly what happened.

With Strowman chasing off McIntyre into the crowd, the duo of Ambrose and Rollins found a big opening for themselves, as the numbers game was against Dolph Ziggler, who realized that he was out on his own and was eventually caught by a Stomp from Seth Rollins (who's now a Double Champion, by the ) as The Shield stood tall with the Raw Tag Team Titles until this happened...

#2 Dean Ambrose finally snaps!

We sure didn't hope to see this tonight
We sure didn't hope to see this tonight

After several weeks of back-and-forth teasing, Dean Ambrose finally shocked the world as following The Shield's triumphant Tag Title victory on an emotional night (more on that later), 'The Lunatic Fringe' mercilessly attacked hit Rollins with a Dirty Deeds before beating the living hell out 'The Architect'.

Much to the WWE Universe's shock, Ambrose, who by this point had nuclear amount of heat on himself, removed the mat from the floor and hit one final Dirty Deeds on Rollins on top of the concrete as he slowly walked through the crowd, without his Shield tactical vest.

Sure, fans were expecting Ambrose to turn heel, but not on an emotional night like this at least and given that all of this unfolded right after The Shield won the Raw Tag Team Titles for just the second time.

What does this mean for the Raw Tag Team Titles and how is all of this eventually going to unfold? Only time will tell!

#1 Roman Reigns vacates Universal Title due to his battle with leukaemia

Get well soon Roman Reigns!
Get well soon Roman Reigns!

This week's episode of Raw kicked-off in the most unusual and unexpected manner, as now-former Universal Champion Roman Reigns made his way out to the ring in casual clothes instead of his Shield attire and announced that he has leukaemia.

After fighting it off almost a decade ago, Reigns or rather I say, Leati Joseph Anoaʻi revealed that his leukaemia had returned and thus forced 'The Big Dog' to vacate his Universal Title in an emotional manner. Reigns eventually thanked the entire WWE Universe and the WWE management for giving him a chance and keeping faith in him when Football didn't.

Reigns then promised to the WWE Universe that he would definitely make his return once he "whooped leukaemia's ass" and this certainly wasn't a retirement speech. What followed next was an emotional interaction between Reigns and his fellow Shield brethren, as a teary-eyed Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose came out and shared a hug and The Shield fist bump.
