WOKEN Brother Nero just can't stay out of trouble.

It's total non-stop action in the life of a pro wrestler and the chaos just doesn't end in the ring.

Call it untimely misfortune or a few reckless decisions made on a drunken night, but many superstars have screwed up behind the wheel, and while most of them survived with a few bruises and broken bones, a handful of them suffered near-fatal injuries.

Their priceless bodies weren't the only things knocked up as a result of the accidents as the vehicles naturally bore a bigger brunt of the mishaps.

Here's how they looked after their illustrious owners lost control over them:

Just when you thought that Jeff Hardy has straightened his life up in his latest run with WWE, the Charismatic Enigma managed to take his 2016 Cadillac CTS-V go 105 feet of the guardrail, spinning 90 degrees into another lane while being under the influence of alcohol.

A 60-day suspension of his license on a DWI charge and a trip to a WWE-sponsored rehab are the repercussions for Hardy's careless actions at a time when he is cleared to return from a shoulder injury.

WWE issued a statement saying that Hardy is responsible for his own actions and that the company was waiting for local law enforcement agencies to conduct their investigations.

It's high time that Brother Nero's bad habits are DELETED!

Even the perennial good guy of the WWE has had a close shave in a car but it was no fault of his.Cena was on his way to Philidelphia to complete a few media obligations when a Honda Civic rammed into the Cenation leader's SUV.

The civic got totalled, which in turn, was banged up in the back by a trailer truck. The guardian angels were watching over the 16-time WWE Champion as he escaped without a scratch.

He went on to face Mark Henry in a match on Raw that night. That's the Franchise Player of the WWE for you.

#3 Santino Marella: September 1st, 2011

Don't mistake the Italian Stallion to be clumsy behind the wheel. Marella was on his way to a house show in Puerto Rico when another vehicle crashed into his SUV from out of nowhere.

The former Intercontinental Champion suffered a shoulder injury and was forced to miss a few weeks of actions before returning to face none other than Jinder Mahal.

WWE was quick to report the accident back then and spoke to Miss WrestleMania immediately after the unfortunate setback.

"My car flipped sideways and the trunk hit a light pole, it completely crushed in. The airbags deployed, and all I could smell was gunpowder. There was broken glass everywhere, and I tried to open the passenger door, but it was stuck. Luckily, there was still power in the car. I opened the sunroof and crawled out."

The roads were awfully skiddy on that fateful rainy night in Charlotte, North Carolina. One of biggest stars of NWA was riding in his Porsche and next thing you know his car is wrapped up around a telephone pole.

It took two hours for someone to finally notice a seriously injured man having a near-death experience at the side of the road. He was rushed to the hospital and it was revealed that his C-4 and C-5 vertebrae had exploded. On that day, Magnum T.A. promising career was sadly cut short at the age of 27.

Deifying odds, the 2-time NWA US Heavyweight Champion went on to talk on his feet after a brief spell under paralysis. His star power was such that around 75,000 letters from fans and well-wishers were collected from the medical facility at which he was admitted.

The tragic part is that he was scheduled to win the US title for the third time which was said to be the beginning of his push towards becoming the NWA Heavyweight Champion.

T.A., real name Terry Wayne Allen would make his first WWE appearance in June 2007 at the Vengence: Night Of Champions PPV.

The story goes that Ryder, Ziggler, and Roberts were rolling in a limousine when they got rear-ended in San Diego, California.

Paramedics were called upon, who arrived at the scene and evacuated the three WWE employees without any serious injuries sustained.

Roberts was said to have a few cuts while Ryder took a knock to the neck. Dolph Ziggler took the hardest hit but was surprisingly the most composed. For some mysterious reason, not many details of the incident are out in the public with a WWE article regarding the same now deleted from the website.

Hmmmm.....

The Macho Man didn't technically die of the collision of the accident as the autopsy reveals that he suffered a heart attack moments before crashing his Jeep Wrangler into a tree with his wife by his side.

While the crash contributed to his death, unattended heart issues were proven to be the real cause of his demise. The wrestling world paid their tributes to the icon with both TNA and WWE holding tribute shows in honour of the former WWE Champion.

Vince McMahon too buried his long-standing hatchet with Macho Man by acknowledging him as one of the all-time greats in the aftermath of the news.

Talking about the boss himself...

Even Mr McMahon managed to get his ride totalled! The WWE boss stepped out of the WWE HQ on a Tuesday morning in Stamford Connecticut and only took a few blocks for McMahon to get into a collision with another car.

The details of the crash are till date quite sketchy but the 72-year-old legend was seen strolling around the site heal and hearty while looking as grumpy as ever.

We're not sure whether it was Vince McMahon's on-screen appetite for destruction that spilt over to real life or maybe just the haziness of mornings, but the oldest champion in WWE history is one lucky man.
