WWE superstars are some of the best-known athletes in the world, but they are also human which means that outside of the wrestling world they still have normal hobbies.
Some of these hobbies allow wrestlers to relax and unwind since they spend so much time in the spotlight and need to find a way to prevent burning out. Some of these stars have some of the strangest hobbies, something that you wouldn't expect them to enjoy doing based on the character that they portray on WWE TV.
Here are some of the current wrestlers who populate the WWE roster and the hobbies that they partake in outside of the wrestling world.
#7. Shinsuke Nakamura - Surfing
Shinsuke Nakamura is currently the number one contender for the WWE Championship and will fight AJ Styles at WrestleMania but it seems that when he isn't in the ring being The Artist, Nakamura likes to unwind by going surfing.
Nakamura has taken a number of other stars surfing with him and it is something that he has been doing ever since his time in Japan. Nakamura isn't impressed with how far he has to travel to the beach now that he's moved to America, but he is still able to fit surfing into his daily activities.
#6. Daniel Bryan - Gardening
Wrestling has always been number one in Daniel Bryan's life, which is why he's a former World Champion, but on various episodes of Total Divas and Total Bellas, Bryan has shown that he also loves gardening.
The current General Manager of SmackDown Live even stated that he would love to have his own gardening show when he retires from the wrestling world and has already started sharing videos on his wife's Youtube Channel. Gardening is something that allows Bryan to unwind when he isn't on the road.
#5. Brock Lesnar - Attending Rodeos
Everything about Brock Lesnar's character says that he hates being around people, which is why he lives in the middle of nowhere and usually stays out of the public eye. Despite this, one of Brock's favourite things to do is to attend rodeos, especially rodeos in small towns.
The current Universal Champion is often spotted attending rodeos in his local area and taking pictures with fans at the events. This is definitely a strange hobby but it seems that Lesnar is much more likely to interact with his fans at a rodeo than he is at a WWE live event.
This also seems to be something that Lesnar enjoys doing with his family since they have all been pictured at the event alongside the Champion.
#4. Roman Reigns - Gamer
Roman Reigns is one of the biggest faces in WWE right now but it seems that the former World Champion has to find a way to block out the WWE Universe and unwind after a hard days work.
Reigns much like Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods is a gamer. He isn't someone in the WWE locker room who is well-known to be a gamer though, and often even plays online with his fans. It seems that one of his favourite video games is Call of Duty and whilst he is often seen playing games, he does much of his gaming when he's at home away from his fellow WWE stars.
#3. Finn Balor - Lego
Ever since Finn Balor was a youngster, it seems one of his favourite things to do is to build different things out of lego. This isn't something that the former Universal Champion has been able to grow out of and it seems that he still spends much of his life building some impressive objects out of lego.
When Balor was injured back in 2016, one of the worst things for him was the fact that his shoulder injury meant that he couldn't play with his lego. Luckily, he recovered not long afterwards and was able to then spend a lot of his time on hiatus building objects. When Balor meets his fans now they often build him presents out of lego, because they know it's something that the Irish superstar enjoys.
#2. Undertaker - Reading
The Undertaker is one of the biggest legends in WWE history, but it seems that he is also a role model for the WWE Universe since he is someone who enjoys reading whilst he's on the road.
He liked to read up and research which could be the reason why he is such an intelligent person.
Undertaker also collects motorbikes and enjoys going scuba diving when he isn't on the road, which isn't often nowadays.
#1. Braun Strowman - Dressing Up
Braun Strowman is the Monster Among Men in WWE right now, but it seems that outside of the company he definitely as one of the strangest hobbies. Strowman first found fame as a member of Adam Rose's Rosebuds where he was able to dress up as a number of different things as part of WWE TV.
It seems that dressing up is one of Braun's favorite past times, Strowman has been photoed dressed up as Mrs Clause and Wonder Woman in recent years and it seems that he is happy to dress up whenever it is needed which could be why he was happy to dress up as an Elf for Christmas as well. It seems that WWE missed a trick when it came to his gimmick since he could easily have used this as part of his character.
