Every year the WWE Hall of Fame is headlined by a major former star who had a fundamental role in taking the company forward. Over the past few years this honor has been bestowed upon the likes of Goldberg, Kurt Angle, Sting, "Macho Man" Randy Savage, The Ultimate Warrior, Mick Foley, Edge and Shawn Michaels; all former world champions and pillars of the wrestling industry. Therefore, to headline, WWE's Hall of Fame class can be considered one of the biggest achievements in the wrestling world. Very few superstars come across who seem they'll be in those shoes one day. However, looking at the current WWE roster we already have 8 worthy superstars who deserve to be Hall of Fame headliners. Even if these superstars were to hang up their boots today, they would be a first-ballot pick for the WWE Hall of Fame.

Now, understandably almost all the entries on this list are part-timers in one way or the other and most of them are also in the twilight of their wrestling career. However, they still feature on the company's official Superstars page and hence, they make this list

#8 Brock Lesnar

Enter
The Beast

The beast was a tough choice for this list. On one hand are he has a plethora of achievements like being the youngest WWE champion, holding the Universal Championship for 500 days, Winner of the 2003 Royal Rumble and headlining WrestleMania on 4 different occasions, just to name a few. His achievements also transcend into his real-life where he happens to be a former UFC World Heavyweight Champion and also remains to be one of its most popular fighters. However, on the other hand are the controversies he's been surrounded with mostly relating to his “special treatment” within the promotion which also isn't primarily his fault. Thus, his accomplishments greatly outweigh the little stains on his reputation, and he is not only our Universal Champion going into Summerslam, but also probably the biggest draws in WWE today.

#7 Big Show

The World's Largest Athelete
The World's Largest Athlete

The Big Show has had a storied career. After an impressive run in WCW as 'The Giant', Paul White burst on to the WWF scene in 1999 and has been almost ever-present since then. He is one of the most recognized WWE superstars and has accomplished almost everything there is to within the company. The World's Largest Athlete is the only man on the planet to be a former WWE, WCW and ECW world champion. He has also one a lot of other titles over his tenure making him the 24th Triple Crown and 12th Grand Slam Champion.

Keeping his 'kayfabe' accomplishments aside, the Big Show has always been a true professional. He is good in the ring for a man his size and has selflessly put over several younger stars over the years the most recent one being Braun Strowman. In Summer slam Strowman's trilogy with Big Show was one of the best giants vs giant wrestling ever and did wonder to establish him as the monster he is. He has also worked hard to get himself in the best shape of his career recently and remains to be an asset to WWE, both as an in-ring competitor and as an ambassador.

#6 Randy Orton

The Viper
The Viper

Randy Orton's career has been one of the best in modern times. Being a third generation superstar, he has more than justified his wrestling background. His achievements within the WWE are almost unparalleled. He happens to be the youngest ever World Heavyweight Champion, an insane former thirteen-time world champion, a two time Royal Rumble winner and a multiple time WrestleMania main event performer. He has simply done it all. What makes it even more remarkable is that he's still just 38 years old! The Viper happens to be immensely popular as well and his finisher, the iconic 'RKO' still pops the crowd owing to his perfect execution. He is one of the smoothest wrestlers to watch and makes stuff which other wrestlers struggle to do, look fairly easy and effortless. It is fair to say that he has been one of the company's top stars over the last 16 years. Although backstage he has a disputed reputation, no one can deny that he deserves to headline Hall of Fame when he decides to hang his boots.

#5 Chris Jericho

Y2J

Chris Jericho for the past 19 years has been everything he promised to be on his iconic debut, if not more. An energetic, cool man who makes fans want to tune in even more and proliferates their excitement. He has been a consistent top-level performer for almost his entire time and even at 47 years of age, still possesses the capacity to sell arenas out. He's the first ever Undisputed World Champion and has won the world title on 6 different occasions, the Intercontinental title on a record 9 different occasions and has even been in the main event of WrestleMania. In his later career, he has reinvented himself over and over again and remains to be immensely popular. He also has no problem whatsoever in putting younger talent over both in the WWE and in Japan. Despite this, he manages to never turn into a nostalgia act and stay relevant. Outside the ring, Chris has penned 4best-selling books, runs a successful band called Fozzy and has one of the most popular podcasts in the world in Talk is Jericho. With his WWE appearances becoming rarer than ever, we only wish we could have him entertaining us with his tremendous oratory skills and excellent matches every week. He is indeed the best in the world at whatever he does.

#4 John Cena

John Cena
Super Cena!

John Cena was the poster boy of WWE for a very long time until Roman took over. He was literally the face of the company for almost a decade and is one of its biggest stars ever. Cena is a 16-time world champion, has been in the main event of WrestleMania on multiple occasions and is also a two time Royal Rumble Winner. He is perhaps the greatest WWE superstar of the post-2000 Era. He is enormously popular with the younger fan base and his name is synonymous with the companies. Performing for 16 years at with most of that time at the highest level is an astronomical accomplishment in itself. His tremendous merchandise sale and his Make a Wish record are proof of the fact that he has become a global icon today. Even now, when his Hollywood career is quite enviable, he still remains loyal to the company and shows up to put over new stars. Enough said, love him or hate him he will go down as one of the greatest of time.

#3 Kane

The Devil's Favorite Demon
The Devil's Favorite Demon

Kane has been a constant on WWE ever since he arrived 23 years ago. His tenacity, endurance, and professionalism are unparalleled. The Big Red Machine has managed to make it through so long, rarely getting injured and performing at an elite level. He remains to be one of the best ever characters in wrestling history and Glenn Jacobs has managed to make much more of his character than anyone would have thought. He is two-time world champion, the third Grand Slam Champion, has the most number of cumulative Royal Rumble eliminations and is also an astonishing 12 time Tag Team Champion. Yes, he hasn't ever been in the main event of WrestleMania, not won a Royal Rumble and has had more kayfaybe girlfriends than World title reigns, but they hardly define his legacy. A relatively lesser known fact is that he has competed in the most matches a by any WWE/F superstar past or present. He also holds the same record for pay-per-view matches making him one of the most prolific performers in history. The man behind the mask, Glenn Jacobs is known to be one of the most respected and sharp people backstage. No Co-worker has ever been critical of him and he has not landed himself into any sort of controversy over the course of his career which is something I believe is an achievement almost nobody else can boast. He has even managed to stay relevant even after selflessly putting over generations of superstars and suffering some of the company's worst story lines. His hard work and dedication transcend into real-life as well where he is now the Mayor-elect of Knox County East Tennessee. He indeed deserves to go into the Hall of Fame at its highest position.

#2 Triple H

The King of Kings
The King of Kings

The COO of WWE is one of the most iconic superstars ever. He has already accomplished everything a wrestler could aspire for. 14 world title reigns, several other title reigns, two Royal Rumble victories and a record 7 WrestleMania main events are all part of his resume. He has also been a part of two of the most successful stables of all time, namely DX and Evolution.

Outside his wrestling role, the Game has been the mastermind for the Renaissance of wrestling within the WWE with the success of NXT and Women's wrestling. There is hardly any superstar more deserving than him to ever headline Hall of Fame.

#1 The Undertaker

The Deadman
The
Dead man

The phenom is just an institution in himself. He is and has been the backbone of WWE for 28 years. There is and will never be anyone quite like him. His legendary status is unparalleled, and he is the most iconic character in history. He is a global icon and is known to almost everyone. His once 21-0 WrestleMania streak remains to be one of the biggest wrestling achievements ever. Just like his brother Kane his 7 world title achievements and other title reign dwarf in front of the bone-chilling aura he creates and the mystique and legend associated with him. Everyone respects him for his immense contributions to the industry and for his rigorous efforts for entertaining us. He is the most respected wrestlers backstage and has also been credited to be the locker room leader. It is said that for a WWE superstar it's okay to upset Vince but not to upset The Dead man. People talk about passing the torch, but I say the torch belongs to him, and he has judiciously allowed various people to hold it over the years. Even if he retired a decade and a half ago he would still deserve to be the Hall of Fame headliner, the very next year. Just as John Cena said, “as long as there is a WWE the name Undertaker will always have meaning.”
