This week, WWE Monday Night Raw was broadcast from the Valley View Casino Center in San Diego, California. The show kicked off with the Intercontinental Champion Seth Rollins, who was already in the ring to talk about the current situation of RAW.
Seth Rollins then called out General Manager Elect of Monday Night Raw, Baron Corbin. He blamed Corbin for all the things happening on RAW. Rollins then challenged Corbin to a TLC match. Baron Corbin, after some hesitation agreed to face Seth Rollins in a Tables, Ladders and Chairs match for the Intercontinental Championship.
Next, on Raw, Bobby Roode and Chad Gable faced Raw Tag Team Champions AOP and Drake Maverick in a 3-on-2 handicapped match for the Raw Tag Team titles. Even though AOP dominated the most part of the match, they lost their Tag Team titles after Roode pinned Maverick for the win.
Natalya came out next to talk about her match against Ruby Riott. Ruby Riott interrupted her and mocked Natalya and her family's legacy. Ruby Riott then unveiled a table with Jim Neidhart's image posted on it. Riott promised to send Natalya through it so she could be closer to her dad than ever.
Next, on Raw, Drew McIntyre went one-on-one against his former teammate Dolph Ziggler. After some incredible action, Drew defeated Ziggler after hitting him with a Claymore Kick. McIntyre continued the beatdown after the match and hit him with another Claymore Kick at ringside.
Bayley came out next with Sasha Banks to face Alicia Fox. Jinder Mahal and the Singh Brothers were also at the ringside for the match. Despite some distraction from the Singh Brothers, Bayley defeated Fox after Apollo Crews came out and attacked Jinder and The Singh Brothers.
Elias came out next to talk about his match against Bobby Lashley at TLC. Lio Rush and Bobby Lashley interrupted him and Lio Rush faced Elias in a one-on-one match. Heath Slater was the referee of the match and with the help of interference from Lashley, Lio Rush beat Elias.
Nia Jax came out next to talk about her opponent at TLC, Rowdy Ronda Rousey. Ronda Rousey was out soon looking for a fight and Nia left the ring with Tamina. Ember Moon came out to assist Ronda and a match was set between Moon and Tamina. Ember Moon defeated Tamina easily by hitting Tamina with the Eclipse.
In the main event of this week's Monday Night Raw, Seth Rollins faced Baron Corbin in a TLC match for the Intercontinental Championship. Despite the interference of the match from referee Heath Slater, Seth Rollins successfully retained his title.
