Tonight was the final episode of IMPACT Wrestling before 2020. With that, the company left the fans wanting more following several incredible matches and a final segment to have the wrestling world talking for the next few weeks.

Two of the best Knockouts in IMPACT Wrestling started this week's show. Tenille Dashwood entered the company with a lot of fanfare, quickly earning a shot at the Knockouts Title. Jordynne Grace, however, has been pushing for a fight against Taya Valkyrie for months now.

Grace overpowered Dashwood early, countering Dashwood's technical ability with pure strength. Dashwood blocked a Grace Driver but was knocked to the mat by a shoulder tackle. Coming off the ropes, Grace caught Dashwood going for a leaping guillotine and turned it into a suplex.

Every time Dashwood seemed to take over, Grace powered through her offense. However, Dashwood was able to trap Grace in the Tarantula, letting go right before the five-count. A reverse DDT gave her a two-count.

Grace recovered, slamming Dashwood in the middle of the mat with a rolling spinebuster. A strong elbow set up for the Grace Driver, but Dashwood fought out. Grace opted to lay her out with a lariat, picking up a nearfall.

Dashwood managed to catch Grace off-guard, and following a butterfly suplex, rolled up the powerhouse. Grace countered, however, cradling Dashwood for a three-count.

Results: Jordynne Grace defeated Tenille Dashwood via pinfall.

Dashwood and Grace shook hands after the match. At Hard to Kill, Grace is set to challenge for the Knockouts Championship in what was originally a one-on-one match. However, because ODB picked up a win over Taya Valkyrie, it's now a triple threat.

Valkyrie attempted to attack Grace after her match, but Dashwood made the save. The numbers game was too much for Wera Loca to handle, and she was sent packing while Grace and Dashwood stood tall.

Moose tried to insult Rhino backstage, claiming that his spear was more powerful than the Gore, especially considering he defeated Rob Van Dam at Slammiversary when Rhino was unable to do the same last week. Rhino responded by Goreing the multi-sport athlete and leaving him out on the floor.

The North met Willie Mack backstage, attempting to stir the pot between Mack and Rich Swann further. Ethan Page said that Mack needs to separate himself from Swann, because the former X-Division Champion is a star in the making, and Mack is simply holding him back.

Swann came in to chase them out, exclaiming that he's gonna tear Page apart in the ring later tonight.

TJP w/ Fallah Bahh vs Daga

TJP wrapped Daga up, but he was able to escape the former X-Division Champion's clutches. Daga rolled TJP up and nearly got a win with a crucifix.

Daga took TJP to the ground with an arm drag, keeping him down with an armbar. Daga seemingly had all the answers, doing what most rarely can...out wrestle TJP. The former Manik was able to bring Daga down with a headscissors takedown. Daga kicked of a pinfall, leading to a stalemate and the commercial break.

Back from commercial, TJP sent Daga outside with a headscissors out of a handstand on the turnbuckle. He followed up with a dropkick off the apron. Back on the inside, a few armbreakers weakened Daga, setting up for one of TJP's many submission holds.

Daga was sent to the apron, but he landed on his feet, connecting with a striking combination and a running sunset flip into a double stomp. TJP barely kicked out before three.

TJP was hammered with an elbow and a running boot, setting up for a running senton across his chest. Another nearfall. TJP escaped the Tiger Bomb and nearly trapped Daga in a rear naked choke. Daga escaped, rocking TJP with a superkick, who responded with a flying back kick.

After a striking trade, TJP brought Daga down with a hurricanrana, transitioning into an armbar. Daga turned it into a powerbomb attempt. TJP escaped only to get locked in an abdominal stretch. Daga then managed to transition into a modified single leg Boston crab. TJP rolled him up for a two-count, leading to a double clothesline from the two performers.

Daga moved up top, but TJP chased. He was dropped face first, but ran back up again, stopping Daga in his tracks. The superplex was blocked, but TJP leapt to the top for a sky-high superplex. A Detonation Kick set up for the TJP Clutch.

Daga reached for the ropes. forcing TJP to transition into a modified STF, picking up the submission victory in the process.

Results: TJP defeated Daga via submission.

TJP and Fallah Bahh were unable to celebrate long, as the Desi Hit Squad ran in to lay them out. Daga broke up the assault, sending them crashing to the mat with a double dropkick.

However, Mahabali Shera returned, spiking Daga with a chokeslam. Gama Singh raised the Squad's arms as his soldiers stood tall.

Backstage, Brian Cage was heading into the locker room. As he opened the door, Rob Van Dam and Katie Forbes exited, excessively making out yet again. He took a break to wish Cage good luck in their upcoming match at Hard to Kill.

As far as RVD himself goes, he felt that he didn't need luck. After all, who else but him would know how to counter his own moves?

We found out that this was the final episode of IMPACT Wrestling this year, as the next two episodes would be a two-part "Best of 2019" special, highlighting the greatest moments from IMPACT this year.

Rob Van Dam and Katie Forbes made their way to the ring. Van Dam again took credit for every wrestler that the fans saw tonight. "The Whole F'n Show" continued to claim that he was being ripped off by every single competitor to come into the business over the past few years. That included his opponent for Hard to Kill, Brian Cage.

RVD said that many considered their match a "dream match." He said it makes sense that Cage would consider it a dream match, although the legend didn't feel the same way. Cage came out and leveled RVD with a discus clothesline, but before he could hit the F-5, Forbes caught Cage with a low blow. Van Dam spiked his face into the mat with a single leg drop from the top rope.

Cage was left in the corner while Forbes held up a steel chair. Rob Van Dam teased a Van Terminator, but decided against it, instead dropkicking the chair into Cage's face.

Suzie was walking around backstage when she ran into Rosemary. The Demon Assassin tried to help Suzie recover "something lost." Before she could, James Mitchell rushed in and separated them. He demanded that Rosemary stay out of her business, leading to an attack from Havok.

As they fought, Mitchell tried to stop Havok from taking things further. After a few moments, Suzie let out a demon-like scream, stopping everyone in their tracks while she reverted back to her normal happy self.

Taya Valkyrie tried to recruit Madison Rayne and Kiera Hogan for her troubles with ODB, Tenille Dashwood, and Jordynne Grace. She may have won them over, though, after offering them both a title shot should she come out of Hard to Kill still Knockouts Champion.

Ethan Page w/Josh Alexander vs Rich Swann w/Willie Mack

Rich Swann stunned Ethan Page with a dropkick, bringing Page into the corner for a series of strikes. Alexander held onto Swann as he bounced off the ropes. As Willie Mack tried to break up their assault, he inadvertently distracted the ref. Page, with Alexander, spiked Swann with an assisted lifting DDT.

Page lit up Swann with some chops and sent the former champion chest-first into the turnbuckle. However, some jaw jacking with Mack distracted Page, allowing Swann to take him down with a clothesline. A neckbreaker set up for a step-up kick, giving Swann a two-count.

A handspring splash gave Swann another nearfall. A distraction from Alexander let Page get back in the match, bringing Swann off the top with a double arm drag slam, followed by the Gotch Neutralizer. A Razor's Edge was prevented, and Swann battered Page with a series of kicks.

Swann missed the 450 Splash and turned around into a massive shoulder tackle, turning him inside out. Page moved to the top for a dive of his own, only for Swann to make it to his feet and catch him with a punch.

Page countered a super Spanish Fly with a slam and a Swanton Bomb. Swann, somehow, kicked out at two. Page rolled to the outside where Josh Alexander shoved him away from a dive, taking the shot instead.

He walked over to Mack and punched him right in the face, leading to Mack chasing him inside and laying him out with a punch right in front of the referee, earning Page a DQ win.

Results: Ethan Page defeated Rich Swann via DQ.

Backstage, several officials kept Moose and Rhino apart, preventing another massive brawl.

Joey Ryan's punishment from Wrestler's Court? Acey Romero

Before the next match, Johnny Swinger, the man that took Joey Ryan to Wrestler's Court, joined commentary ringside hoping to see Ryan get squashed.

Joey Ryan vs Acey Romero

Ryan tried to bring Romero in for his "Iconic Flip" early, but Romero avoided the grab. A reverse atomic drop didn't do much to Romero, who responded with a running crossbody. Ryan was hammered with uppercuts as Romero screamed, "I'm not touching that!"

A rolling spinebuster planted Ryan in the middle of the ring. Ryan made it back to his feet and rocked Romero in the ropes. As Ryan was sent on his back, Romero fell over, his head landing on Ryan's...lower regions.

Ryan set up for Sweet Tooth Music, but Romero sent the lollipop into Kid Ref's mouth instead. As he turned around, Swinger ran in to break up the flip. Swinger then tried to flip Romero, but was instead crushed by the big man. As Romero turned around, he was caught by the flip, setting up for Sweet Tooth Music.

Results: Joey Ryan defeated Acey Romero via pinfall.

Tessa Blanchard was interviewed backstage. She said she didn't know what Sami Callihan had up his sleeves, but she's not going anywhere, and she'll be the one to dethrone him at Hard to Kill.

Ace Austin vs Petey Williams

Petey Williams caught Ace Austin with an elbow to the jaw. Austin tried to counter with a Disaster Kick, but Williams avoided and launched Austin into the corner with a headscissors. However, an arm drag from the second rope and a standing dropkick brought Austin back into it, sending Williams outside.

Williams responded with a springboard Codebreaker. A drop toe hold sent Austin to the ropes where he was hit with a dropkick to the back of the head. Austin rolled outside only to be caught by a springboard hurricanrana to the floor. Austin recovered, catching Williams with a superkick on the apron as we headed into another commercial break.

Back from commercial, a spinning kick from Austin gave him a two-count. Williams was trapped in an armbar but escaped before he could have his hand cut by Austin's playing card. A rebound German suplex set Williams up for the Russian leg sweep.

The Canadian Destroyer was blocked, and Austin finally connected with the Bangarama. Williams kicked out at two, though. The Fold was avoided, and Williams set up for the Canadian Destroyer again.

Austin blocked, bringing Williams to the top rope. Williams shook off a super hurricanrana and went for a top rope Canadian Destroyer. Austin held onto the ropes, but was caught with a powerbomb instead. Austin kicked out and managed to hit the Fold for the win.

Results: Ace Austin defeated Petey Williams via pinfall.

After the match, Ace Austin dedicated his win to Trey Miguel's mom.

Sami Callihan tried to ruin Tessa Blanchard's image

Trey met Ace Austin backstage, threatening to break the XXX-Division Champ's neck should he ever got within "spitting distance" of his mom or spoke about her again. Austin took that phrase in a certain direction, leading to Trey losing it, tearing into Austin before Reno Scum and security separated them.

Sami Callihan made his way to the ring to drop some dirt on his Hard to Kill opponent. The Draw claimed that he would "expose" Tessa Blanchard as a fake tonight.

Callihan said that he's all about equality because he treats Blanchard like every single man he's ever competed against. He's spat in her face and piledriven her into the mat the same way he would any other competitor. It's not intergender, it's just wrestling.

The IMPACT World Champion's trash talk worked, as Blanchard rushed the ring. However, Madman Fulton rushed after her. Fulton and Callihan teamed up on Blanchard before Ken Shamrock made the save.

Blanchard and Callihan battled into the streets of NY while Fulton and Shamrock fought in the ring. Callihan picked up Blanchard and lawn darted her into a production truck, but Blanchard still fought on. Blanchard speared Callihan into a wall, but he responded by bouncing her head off of a truck again.

Callihan bit into Blanchard's forehead before hiding amongst the cars. Blanchard chased on to end the show.
