Moose demanded a World Title Match, and that's exactly what he got tonight

Welcome back to another episode of IMPACT Wrestling where there was a ton of great action tonight. Jake Something battled his former tag team partner and family member Deaner in a hellacious Tables Match. Would Jake be able to overcome Violent By Design's newest sadist?

The IMPACT Wrestling Tag Team Champions, The Good Brothers, were also in action tonight, as they took on the heavy-hitting XXXL. Acey Romero and Larry D seemed to be done with Decay. Could they now be setting their eyes on tag team gold?

Who would be crowned the No. 1 contenders to the IMPACT Wrestling Knockouts Tag Team Titles, Kimber Lee and Susan or Jordynne Grace and Jazz? These two teams went to war in a great Knockouts tag team match. All that, plus a surprise world championship bout in the main event.

We kicked IMPACT Wrestling off with the Tables Match tonight.

Tables Match: Deaner vs. Jake Something on IMPACT Wrestling

Deaner pelted his former tag team partner but was again overpowered by the big man, much like their match at No Surrender. A stiff sliding clothesline took down a kneeling Deaner, giving Jake a chance to grab a table.

Jake set the table up in the middle of the turnbuckle, looking to send Deaner through it early. After a great Michinoku driver, Jake set up for a spear. Deaner countered, sending him jaw first into the edge of the table. Following up, Deaner launched his face into the underside of the table with a slingshot.

A second table was placed on the apron and barricade, with Deaner looking to launch Jake through it and onto the floor. Jake countered a dive, nearly sending Deaner through the wood. Deaner sent Jake to the ground but was nearly caught out of mid-air with a powerbomb. Luckily for him, he escaped Jake's grasp and sent the table sliding into Jake's throat.

As Deaner climbed to the top, he was cut off by Jake Something. Deaner, again, escaped his grip and tossed Jake to the mat. However, Jake shook off the pain and ran right through Deaner. A leaping shoulder thrust in the corner cut Deaner in half, and a sit-out powerbomb forced him to the floor.

On the floor, Jake set up for a powerslam through a table but just could not keep his grip on his cousin. Deaner slipped out, sending Jake spine first into the steps. A low blow left Jake in serious trouble. However, Jake managed to catch a running Deaner, driving him through the wood with a Black Hole Slam.

Results: Jake Something defeated Deaner on IMPACT Wrestling.

Grade: B+

Immediately after the match, the No. 1 contender to Rich Swann's IMPACT Wrestling World Championship ran Jake through a table with the Lights Out Spear. Moose demanded a world title match tonight, vowing to put an end to the show until he got what he wanted. Would Mr. IMPACT Wrestling get his shot?

When we came back from break, Moose was still holding IMPACT Wrestling hostage in the middle of the ring. Jake Something was helped to the back while the IMPACT Wrestling VP Scott D'Amore appeared. D'Amore demanded Moose leave, stating that Rich Swann isn't even in the building tonight, much less cleared for a match.

Jake Something ran out, attempting to get some revenge on Moose. D'Amore then promised to give Moose a title match. The TNA World Championship is now an official world title for IMPACT Wrestling, and Moose will defend it against Jake Something in the main event.

Next up was the first step in a two-part plan to find the new No. 1 contender for the IMPACT Wrestling X-Division Champion. These six competitors would face off in a tag team match, with the winning team facing off in a Triple Threat next week to determine TJP's new challenger.

Trey Miguel, Josh Alexander, and Willie Mack vs. Black Taurus, Chris Bey, and Ace Austin w/Madman Fulton on IMPACT Wrestling

Chris Bey quickly tagged out to Ace Austin, leaving The Inevitable One stuck in the corner of Willie Mack, Josh Alexander, and Trey Miguel. The former champ managed to crawl away to his corner, tagging in Black Taurus.

Taurus and Mack, two heavy-hitters, flew around one another like cruiserweight. Mack tagged ou to Josh Alexander, who brought Taurus down with a Finlay Roll. Taurus quickly got to his feet and hammered The Walking Weapon of IMPACT Wrestling in the corner.

Back from a commercial break, Alexander was stuck on the wrong side of the ring. Black Taurus wore down the former IMPACT Wrestling Tag Team Champion for Ace Austin and Chris Bey. However, the latter got a bit too cocky, attempting a running hurricanrana. Alexander countered with a powerbomb backbreaker.

Austin and Trey Miguel tagged in, and The Rascal locked in the Pendulum hold on Austin before releasing for an elbow drop. Taurus ran in but was dropped with a stunner. Miguel tagged Mack after hitting a Cheeky Nandos kick on Austin. As the two set up for the Doomsday Device, Bey sent Trey to the floor.

Mack dropped Ace Austin with a pop-up forearm smash and set up for the Six-Star Splash. Austin hung him up on the ropes before hitting The Fold. Had Alexander and Trey not made the save, that would've been it.

Taurus snapped Trey with a backbreaker but was dumped on his head by a German from Alexander. Bey spiked Alexander with a slingshot DDT, only to be dumped on his head with an exploder suplex. Mack missed the Six-Star Frog Splash, and after a roundhouse from Austin, Bey managed to connect with the Art of Finesse.

Results: Chris Bey, Ace Austin, and Black Taurus advance to the IMPACT Wrestling X-Division Triple Threat Match.

Grade: A

Trey Miguel left ringside, furious, and ran into Sami Callihan. The Draw of IMPACT Wrestling told Miguel he didn't have what it took. In fact, Callihan felt that Miguel was about to fake on IMPACT Wrestling once again.

Miguel was the weak link in his team, according to Callihan. Trey couldn't take it anymore and let out all of his frustrations on Callihan.

Decay cut a promo backstage at IMPACT Wrestling. The Death Dealers promised to take over the company, first by going after the IMPACT Wrestling X-Division Championship. Once Black Taurus captured that, what was next? Rosemary promised utter domination, courtesy of Decay...Decay...Decay!

AEW President Tony Khan was accompanied by not just Tony Schiavone but many of the AEW wrestlers. Isiah Kassidy, Britt Baker and Rebel, Team Tazz, Matt Hardy, and Ryan Nemeth circled the duo while promoting their matches for AEW Dynamite. Everyone dissed IMPACT, including Brian Cage, the former IMPACT Wrestling World Champion.

Nevaeh was upset at herself for failing to defeat Tenille Dashwood last week. Havok wasn't worried about it, wanting to stay together as a team. Still, Nevaeh stormed off. Tenille and Kaleb with a K walked in, trying to steal Havok as a tag team partner. The Kaiju Queen quickly turned them down, of course.

XXXL vs. The Good Brothers on IMPACT Wrestling

The Machine Gun Karl Anderson locked up with Larry D. While The Good Brothers are the IMPACT Wrestling Tag Team Champions, Larry D defeated the courts in regards to that attempted John E. Bravo murder case, so they're all winners.

A dropkick to the knee allowed Anderson to tag into The Big LG. Doc Gallows beat Larry down, but an eye gouge was all it took for XXXL to get back in the swing of things. Well...somewhat. Doc Gallows ran through a double clothesline, taking out both men and bringing Acey to the corner of the Good Brothers.

Larry D would get back into the swing of things, but it just wasn't enough. A Magic Killer, a 1-2-3, and a Too Sweet for The IMPACT Wrestling Tag Team Champions.

Results: The Good Brothers defeated XXXL via pinfall on IMPACT Wrestling.

Grade: C+

At Swinger's Palace, Chris Sabin attempted to keep James Storm and Rohit Raju from getting them all kicked out. Johnny Swinger? Kick someone out?

That's not his style, daddy! In fact, he wanted to put this match together to get some bets going. Oh, Swing Man, never change.

The IMPACT Wrestling Tag Team Champions ran into David Finlay and Juice Robinson backstage. FinJuice claimed that their match against XXXL took a bit longer than it should've. They also stated that they know how good The Good Brothers are. They're the best tag team at professional wrestling...while hungover. Karl Anderson said he wasn't, but Doc Gallows admitted he may have been.

Brian Myers was supposed to face Eddie Edwards tonight, but Myers claimed to be unfit to compete tonight. Mark Sterling claimed that Myers had suffered irreversible damage to his left eye. Luckily for Edwards, Myers had a replacement in mind.

Eddie Edwards vs. Hernandez w/Brian Myers on IMPACT Wrestling

Hernandez ran right through the heart and soul of IMPACT Wrestling, driving him spine first into the apron. Myers attacked him while the ref was distracted by SuperMex.

Hernandez crushed the former IMPACT Wrestling World Champion with a series of body splashes but couldn't secure the Border Toss. Edwards escaped to the turnbuckle, where he connected with the Boston Knee Party from the second rope.

Results: Eddie Edwards defeated Hernandez via pinfall on IMPACT Wrestling.

Grade: C

Backstage, Brian Myers was confronted by both Matt Cardona and Scott D'Amore, who said that Myers would face Eddie Edwards next week on IMPACT Wrestling. The special guest referee? Matt Cardona. Not only that, but it would be an Eye for an Eye Match!

Okay, not really. Scott was just kidding.

No. 1 Contender's Match for the IMPACT Wrestling Knockouts Tag Team Titles: Kimber Lee and Susan w/Deonna Purrazzo vs Jordynne Grace and Jazz

The former IMPACT Wrestling Knockouts Champion, or rather...her other personality, wrapped up with Jazz. Susan couldn't compete with the force of the legendary wrestler, as Jazz hammered Susan around the ring. A double bell clap set Susan up for something big, but Deonna Purrazzo caught her leg, allowing Susan time to lay her out.

ODB ran down to the ring, attacking the IMPACT Wrestling World Champion. The ref sent both Purrazzo and ODB to the locker room, leaving it an even playing field in the ring. Susan and Kimber Lee kept control through the break, but a meeting of the minds between Jazz and Lee allowed Jazz to get to her tag team partner.

The former IMPACT Wrestling Knockouts Champion came in like a house of fire. Jordynne Grace ran wild, delivering a series of clotheslines and a devastating rolling spinebuster to Susan. Jazz ran in for a double gourdbuster to Susan, but Grace only got the two-count.

Susan escaped a torture rack, but was tossed all the way across the ring with a German suplex. After countering an ankle lock, Grace managed to spike Susan with the Grace Driver.

Results: Jordynne Grace and Jazz defeated Susan and Kimber Lee via pinfall on IMPACT Wrestling.

Grade: B

Jordynne Grace and Jazz will go onto challenge for the IMPACT Wrestling Knockouts Tag Team Titles. Backstage, they found ODB unconscious. They assumed it was Deonna Purrazzo, but was there somebody else lurking around backstage at IMPACT Wrestling?

IMPACT Wrestling TNA World Championship Match: Jake Something vs. Moose (c)

Prior to the match, Jake Something ambushed Mr. IMPACT Wrestling. Throughout the entire break, Jake drove Moose into the ringside area and beat the TNA World Champion down. Still, Moose wanted more. Moose caught Jake with a clothesline in a corner, followed by a bullet-speed running dropkick.

Jake, clearly still worn down from his Tables Match at the top of the night, was facing an uphill battle in the IMPACT Wrestling main event. He sent Moose to the floor and even managed to redirect mid-air during a dive, landing on his feet on the apron.

Moose didn't let Jake recover, though, and bounced Jake chest first off the top turnbuckle. It only served to fire up Jake, who turned Moose inside out with a hellacious clothesline. The Michinoku Driver spiked Moose for a near fall. Jake ran in for his leaping shoulder thrust but was sent to the top of the corner for a dropkick from the champ.

Jake was taken down with a sky-high superplex, and Moose looked to end the night with the Lights Out Spear. Jake countered, popping Moose up for the sit-out powerbomb. 1-2-not enough to put Mr. IMPACT Wrestling down. The two powerhouses traded rights and forearms.

Moose caught a running clothesline with a Uranage. A second one followed up, as did a ripcord discus lariat. After that, the Lights Out cut Jake in half.

Results: Moose defeated Jake Something via pinfall on IMPACT Wrestling.

Grade: A+

After the match, Rich Swann saved Jake from a further beatdown. After security broke them up, it was revealed by Scott D'Amore that the two would face off for the IMPACT Wrestling World Title at Sacrifice.
