Welcome to another edition of the Impact Wrestling rumor roundup. Last week we covered Ken Shamrock's dispute with WWE, former RAW Superstar's Impact debut and much more.

Let us take a look at the 5 biggest stories revolving around Impact Wrestling and its top stars - from Killer Kross issuing a spectacular challenge, to Impact Wrestling's possible expansion, we have got some interesting insights lined up for you:

#5 Killer Kross issues a challenge to Batista

Killer Kross has been in the spotlight for a long time, particularly because of his on-going troubles with Impact Wrestling - the company he is currently signed to. However, Kross does make appearances for other promotions as well.

He made one such appearance for Bloodsport where he defeated Nick Cage. After the match, however, Kross went on to taunt Batista, and challenged him to a fight. Killer Kross has given the 'retired' 6-time WWE World Champion an opportunity to come out of retirement for one more match against him. It remains to be seen how The Animal reacts to this proposal, if at all he does.

#4 Michael Elgin's interesting comments on his BFG match

Michael Elgin made his way to Impact Wrestling this year, after making a huge name for himself in NJPW. After being involved in programs with Brian Cage and Rhino, Elgin will now face Japanese legend Naomichi Marufuji at the Bound For Glory pay per view in Chicago on October 20th. Here is what Elgin had to say on Twitter regarding the match:

In 2003 I had my debut, but I had begun training in 2002 and at the time Pro Wrestling Noah was the biggest company in Japan, and was receiving the most praise in North America. I still loved my favs from AJPW, but 1 new wrestler stood out to me. That was Marufuji, arnd that time a lot of fans were on the Kenta Band wagon but I was a Marufuji guy. Forward 16 years later and I get a match with a true Japanese legend.
In 2013 I was scheduled for a match against him, but an injury prevented him from making the trip stateside. To say I was disappointed at that time would be a huge understatement. But all good things come to those who wait. On October 20th live on PPV Impact Wrestling presents Bound For Glory. This may not be for a championship, it may not be the last match of the night. But mark my words, it will be the main event, and it will be the match that people go home talking about.

#3 TJP gets an offer from Bellator

Former Cruiserweight Champion and current Impact Wrestling Superstar TJP seems to be in high demand, as the high-flyer was recently offered a chance to fight for MMA promotion Bellator. While the negotiations are still on, reports suggest that the deal is far from being completed as of now.

Perkins was on the WINCLY podcast and revealed how the entire deal came about, and his views on it:

I kind of had the same reaction that everyone else did. Your guess is as good as mine. It was around my birthday week where I was in between travel and my manager forwarded me this offer. It's probably the most out-of-left-field offer I've gotten since I was asked to do a Bar Mitzvah after I left WWE."

#2 Killer Kross wants to face Roman Reigns

Killer Kross really knows how to get attention; it looks like his challenge to WWE Legend Batista wasn't sufficient for him, as the 33-year-old stated on Twitter that he would want to fight Roman Reigns.

On being asked by a fan who he thinks he would have a great match against, Kross promptly replied Roman Reigns.

#1 Impact Wrestling could purchase Ring of Honor

As we revealed last week, Impact's parent company Anthem has bought stakes in HDNet LLC, which owns AXS TV, which has now resulted in Impact Wrestling getting a new home. This move will be a huge boost for Impact as AXS will help them get more eyeballs than they currently manage.

Apart from the switch to a new network, other speculations included a possible tie-up with NJPW in the future as NJPW is also aired on AXS TV in the USA. It was stated that Anthem will get AXS TV’s extensive library of programming, including wrestling, MMA and entertainment content.

Interestingly, the 'extensive library' also includes ROH's weekly TV archive from their HDNet shows between 2009 and 2011.

As per Wrestletalk, an inside source has stated:

“The talks are in the very beginning stage but Sinclair [Ring of Honor’s parent company] is listening and seems interested. If this was to go through I’d expect Anthem to fold ROH completely and place the entire library on the Impact Plus app. Another thing that has been thrown around would be a Split type situation where Impact and ROH are the same company but ROH will be placed on either AXS or Pursuit (more than likely AXS) as its own show and have Impact guys appear on and off
