John Morrison set to return to WWE programming next week

The latest edition of WWE Backstage confirmed that John Morrison is set to return to the company and that he has signed a multi-year deal with the promotion.

Morrison, who was the winner of Tough Enough Season III, made his way into the main roster of WWE in 2004. He remained a constant of RAW and SmackDown till his contract with the promotion expired in 2011 and by that time, won the Intercontinental Championship, Tag Team Championship on multiple occasions.

After leaving WWE, Morrison performed for notable promotions like AAA, Lucha Underground, Impact Wrestling, among others and grabbed numerous titles during his tenure in such organizations.

After an absence of eight years, John Morrison is now set to be back in WWE and the recent episode of The Bump shed more light on the scenario.

We now know that Morrison will be an in-house guest for next week's WWE The Bump where he will be joined by an ensemble crew that involves the likes of Kayla Braxton, Matt Camp among others. It can be speculated that The Mayor of Slamtown will talk about his return to the WWE on the forthcoming episode and disclose the brand that he will be a part of upon his homecoming.

The Bump airs live every Wednesday at 10 AM EST on the WWE Network and all other social media platforms of the company.
