One of the greatest in-ring performers of all-time in WWE is Olympic gold medallist Kurt Angle, who, for a long time, was one of the top Superstars in the company. Angle retired from wrestling earlier this year, but still works with WWE.

In an interview with Chicago Tribune, Angle revealed what his current role in the WWE is, after retiring from in-ring competition earlier this year at WrestleMania 35. Angle has transitioned to a backstage role on RAW, where he works as a producer on Monday nights.

"I help structure matches that the talents have. It's just giving my feedback and evaluating what the wrestlers do. The most important thing is once you learn the basics, limit your bumping. We only have so many bumps in our career. If you do it excessively at the beginning of your career, you're going to cut your career short. If you save your body, it will help you enormously," said Kurt Angle.

Angle's last match in WWE was against Baron Corbin at WrestleMania 35, which he ended up losing.

Before his final match in the business, Angle had a series of matches against great in-ring performers like Samoa Joe and AJ Styles, on RAW.
