Listing the 4 biggest botches in WWE this week

WWE is gearing up for what they are calling Premiere Week since it's the season premiere of Monday Night RAW, followed by the third episode of NXT on the USA Network and then SmackDown's debut on FOX. This is all rounded up by the Hell in a Cell pay-per-view on Sunday night, a pay-per-view that still only has three matches that have been made official.

Over the past week, the company has focused their build up on next week's core shows rather than the pay-per-view and knowing that this is one of the biggest weeks in the company's history has seemingly got to a lot of the superstars.

There were some huge botches on WWE TV this week from the most unlikely of people from Monday Night RAW, SmackDown Live and even NXT.

#4 Keith Lee and Dominik Dijakovic

Keith Lee and Dijakovic kicked off this week's episode of NXT on the USA Network and it was a battle of the big men since both were seen as colossal athletes on the NXT roster. This made for a fantastic match between the two men, but both were getting used to performing in front of the live TV cameras.

There were several small botches throughout the match, which included Keith Lee almost falling over but the most noticeable came in the closing stages when Lee was looking for a suplex and it was then countered into a small package.

The two men were not aware of where they were in the ring so the small package rolled into the ropes and the referee was forced to call a rope break. Their reactions gave away the fact that it was a botch but that didn't prevent Lee from stepping up to secure an important victory.

#3 WWE botches Bray Wyatt's exit

The Fiend has been haunting Monday Night RAW for a number of weeks and has attacked many different superstars, but this week he turned his attention to Braun Strowman and then Seth Rollins who he will face at Hell in a Cell next Sunday night.

Bray Wyatt was still in the ring with Rollins when RAW went off the air this week and the two men continued to fight with the Universal Champion delivering a Curb Stomp to The Fiend. This was when Wyatt made his exit under the cloak of darkness, but it appears that WWE was unable to get this right.

Instead of Wyatt being able to leave the arena undetected, there was enough light for the WWE Universe to see The Fiend making his way back up the ramp and into the backstage area, which ruined the entire illusion.

Back when Undertaker was playing these tricks, he would go back under the ring, perhaps in the future, this would be a better idea for Bray rather than him heading all the way back up the ramp and being spotted leaving.

#2 Lacey Evans falls over whilst locking in a Sharpshooter

Lacey Evans has been a consistent addition to the weekly Monday Night RAW botch round-up and this week was no different. The Sassy Southern Belle has been part of a number of huge botches during her time on Monday Night RAW, from botching a moonsault to failing to catch a kick from Becky Lynch as part of their match at Money in the Bank earlier this year.

None of these botches were anywhere near as bad as this week's when she attempted to send a message to Natalya. The previous week Evans was easily able to lock in the Sharpshooter on Dana Brooke and force her to tap, but this week she attempted the same move on Ember Moon and it didn't work out as well.

Evans stumbled as she was trying to lock the move in, but Moon still tapped so that the botch wasn't much more obvious and Evans then picked up the win. Natalya was then interviewed backstage where even she made a point of telling Evans that she needed to be taught how to do a Sharpshooter. Ouch.

#1 Daniel Bryan gets stuck in the ropes

The feud between Daniel Bryan, Roman Reigns, Erick Rowan and Luke Harper has continued to be one of the headline feuds on SmackDown Live in the build-up to Hell in a Cell which is why the storyline kicked off this week's show.

Rowan cut a promo before Bryan interrupted and challenged his former friend to a one-on-one match. The match was going well between the former Tag Team Champions until Luke Harper decided to involve himself.

Bryan flew out of the ring to knock him over the announce table, but this distraction allowed Rowan to get back to his feet and then attempt to suplex Bryan over the ropes. Bryan's foot then got caught between the top and middle rope as he was lifted over and the referee then realized that he was actually trapped.

Even Rowan attempted to free Bryan before he called an audible and continued to attack him, but it was only when Rowan and the referee worked together that they were able to release Bryan so that Rowan could finally deliver his finisher and end the match.
