WWE has been facing a wired problem off late.

Multiple WWE superstars have asked for their release from the company. This is not a great sign considering the danger of AEW looming over WWE.

Superstars like Hideo Itami, Tye Dillinger, TJ Perkins and Dean Ambrose are already released or are on verge of being released.

The more bewildering is the state of the tag team division. The likes of Revival and Good Brothers are rumoured to ask for their releases. This is when The Young Bucks have said in their new promotion their main focus will be tag team wrestling.

The reason for WWE's trouble is their tendency to acquire talent without having any plan for them. Since last many years, WWE have released only a handful of superstars and has signed numerous new ones.

This has given rise to a problem of plenty for WWE. There are far more superstars and far fewer spots on WWE TV. Though WWE produces almost six to seven hour of content ( during Non-PPV weeks) on a weekly basis they are still not able to fit all of them.

Superstars like Bray Wyatt and Sami Zayn are still waiting for their chances. With Finn Balor and Samoa Joe getting their due after years of dismal booking.

This problem doesn't seem to solve in the near future. Still, WWE has a way to reduce this to a certain extent.

It is high time for WWE to introduce a third brand.

For years now WWE has been relying on Raw and SmackDown Live! as it's the main brand with NXT and NXT UK being the development ones.

Now WWE is in dire need of a third brand. Though it will give rise to a situation of too much of WWE content.

Having a completely different approach in the third brand can help in reducing that problem.

For many who may not remember or know WWE had the third brand in the name of Extreme Championship Wrestling. It was a brand with an extreme style of wrestling.

WWE can introduce ECW or something on its line. For a change, Vince McMahon can make Paul Heyman as the manager of the show.

So that it can feel different from other WWE shows.

With SmackDown moving to Friday this November WWE will be left with Tuesday slot vacant. They can fit a new show their as to get maximum out of it.
