RAW After WrestleMania 37 Preview: Bobby Lashley's next WWE Title challenger possibly revealed, Top star set to return after 11 months?

What awaits us on RAW?

Welcome to the RAW after WrestleMania Preview. It's a special edition because this is considered to be the most important RAW of the year. We're aware that it doesn't always deliver, but there could be a lot in store this year.

WrestleMania 37 was a big success, and an entirely new cycle begins. Although it isn't technically the season premiere of RAW, it feels that way. Let's start with the WWE Championship and what could be next:

#6. Who's next for Bobby Lashley on RAW after WrestleMania 37?

Bobby Lashley walked out of WrestleMania with the WWE Title intact.

WrestleMania 37 opened with a blockbuster WWE Title match between Bobby Lashley and Drew McIntyre. While many felt that Drew McIntyre was finally going to have his moment in front of the fans, it was Bobby Lashley's night.

MVP's momentary distraction cost Drew McIntyre - who passed out in The Hurt Lock. Bobby Lashley now walks into RAW with the WWE Title intact. Given the nature of the victory, it seems unlikely that the feud will resume right away.

WrestleMania Backlash is the next major pay-per-view for Bobby Lashley, and the big question heading into the RAW after WrestleMania is as to who will be the next WWE Title challenger. There are a few options, but the one that seems most likely now is Braun Strowman.

When Drew McIntyre went to confront the RAW locker room recently, he had an interesting confrontation with Braun Strowman - who told him that he would come after him once he took care of Shane McMahon. Braun Strowman did just that - take care of Shane McMahon.

With a great victory at WrestleMania, Braun Strowman enters RAW with momentum on his side. It makes a lot of sense since Braun Strowman was on the cusp of WWE Title contention late last year before getting backtracked with an injury.

Strowman has been out of the Title picture ever since, but now that his feud with Shane McMahon on RAW is done, it's time for him to move on to bigger things. Braun Strowman vs. Bobby Lashley would be a great pay-per-view clash between two premier heavyweights.

#5. The reign of Rhea Ripley begins on RAW

Rhea Ripley will bring a new flavor to RAW.
Rhea Ripley will bring a new flavor to RAW.

Rhea Ripley defeated Asuka in WrestleMania 37 Night Two's co-main event to win the RAW Women's Championship. It was a good match with a good finish, and Rhea Ripley seems to be the right woman to have ended Asuka's 230-day reign as the RAW Women's Champion.

It seems to be a fresh start for the RAW Women's division, which Asuka dominated for almost all of the last 11 months. But there have been a lot of questions about the person who many consider to be the "true" RAW Women's Champion - Becky Lynch.

Asuka dominated the RAW Women's Division for the last 11 months because Becky Lynch was away at the time. She's a mother now and has likely gotten back into ring shape in 2021. Given that it's the biggest RAW of the year, WWE needs to have one of the biggest possible returns, and it's hard to get bigger than Becky Lynch.

The former Double-Champion could return to RAW to confront Rhea Ripley and try to take back what she feels is hers.

#4. Grand Slam Styles and Omos begin their RAW Tag Team Title run

And New!
And New!

AJ Styles and Omos are the new RAW Tag Team Champions. Although it felt like a random match, The New Day vs. Styles and Omos was a fun bout, and the latter was given a great display on his debut.

While all the other titles that AJ Styles won were mostly by himself, this was more of Omos' work. The duo will now head into RAW, with AJ Styles officially a Grand Slam Champion in WWE in just 5 years.

Will The New Day continue to challenge for the RAW Tag Team Titles, or will a new team step up?

#3. What's next for Drew McIntyre?

Drew McIntyre failed to win WWE Title #3 at WrestleMania 37. It's not often that we've seen Drew McIntyre without the Title on RAW, but this recent stretch has been the longest in a year.

It's possible that Drew McIntyre doesn't even appear on RAW. We hope he does and that a new feud is waiting. Perhaps a good non-Title feud for Drew McIntyre might be the direction to go in.

#2. Sheamus builds his momentum on RAW

Sheamus and Riddle only had a brief feud on RAW, but it was enough to set up a United States Title match at WrestleMania 37. Sheamus won and is now a three-time United States Champion.

It will be interesting to see how Sheamus' run continues on RAW. He has more momentum with a Title in hand. Ever since he aligned with Drew McIntyre, we've seen Sheamus have one of his best runs in his 12-year WWE career.

He only had a few losses, and those were to top World Title contenders like Keith Lee and Drew McIntyre, while also losing to the reigning WWE Champion Bobby Lashley.

The US Championship is a good spot for him to be on the RAW roster, and given how things played out post-match, we expect the rivalry with Riddle to continue.

While some may want a fresh feud, Riddle looked great in defeat and extending the rivalry with Sheamus isn't a bad idea. There's no guarantee that Sheamus will even have a long run as US Champion on RAW.

#1. Will we find out what happened with Alexa Bliss on RAW?

Alexa Bliss at WrestleMania 37.

There were a lot of questions in the four-month feud on RAW between Randy Orton and Alexa Bliss. In less than six minutes at WrestleMania, we have more questions than we do answers.

WrestleMania is supposed to be where the questions asked on RAW are answered, but everybody seemed confused as to what happened. The Fiend returned in his normal form, and while he was about to win, Alexa Bliss emerged with a shocking new look, perched upon the box that Bray Wyatt came out of.

It ended up costing The Fiend the match, as one swift RKO put him away. Just like that, Randy Orton's nightmares seem to be over. The only implication is that after all these months on RAW, Alexa Bliss is in control.

There have been some theories that it wasn't Bray Wyatt who competed at WrestleMania, given that he seemed to be leaner and a few other details. What lies ahead on RAW for Alexa Bliss and The Fiend? Will we finally get answers?
