RAW Preview: 4-time Champion to make a huge return, Big title change before TLC? (December 9th, 2019)

A crazy episode awaits
A crazy episode awaits

Welcome to this week's edition of RAW Preview. It's the go-home show to WWE TLC 2019 this Sunday and it's going to be an exciting one. As you probably figured out by now, there are no matches announced for TLC from the RAW side. As of this writing, there have been three overall matches announced for the PPV and they've been from the SmackDown brand.

That doesn't mean that there's nothing planned, of course, and if anything, RAW has been the more exciting and talked-about brand in the three-week build from Survivor Series to TLC 2019.

Tonight is going to feature a lot of exciting segments, including a title match, a live divorce, and so much more. This could end up being one of the runaway episodes of the year as 2019 comes to a quick close.

Without dragging on much further, here's what you need to look forward to on RAW.

#5. Will Andrade's winning streak continue?

A rising star
A rising star

It's no secret that Andrade is one of WWE's hottest prospects overall and is a superstar who the company will look forward to promoting heavily once he reaches a certain level. The Mexican is coming to his own following a recent string of wins that has turned into a winning streak of its own.

We expect him to be featured tonight in a match against a different opponent. Last week, he took on Eric Young and defeated the former Sanity member decisively. His confidence is growing and it appears as though it should only be a matter of time before he begins to challenge for a title.

Who will Andrade face this week and will anyone be able to stop him? Many have wondered whether it's time for Andrade to take a step up in competition and the answer could very well be "yes".

#4. The King's Divorce Court

Lana and Rusev's marriage officially comes to an end tonight
Lana and Rusev's marriage officially comes to an end tonight

It's so heartbreaking that we could cry. Not really, but tonight will mark the end of a marriage that has been at the center of WWE programming for a few years now. It was announced as a "King's Divorce Court" segment but lately, WWE has only advertised it as a segment where the two will be signing the papers.

Tensions between Lana and Rusev have been at an all-time high, with harsh words being exchanged and more. Last week, the police were supposed to arrest Rusev after he had a restraining order filed against him but somehow, things turned upside down and it was Lana and Lashley who walked out in handcuffs instead.

The marriage has reached its last legs and tonight, The Bulgarian Brute and The Ravishing Russian will put pen to paper and seal their divorce. The big question is as to what's left in the store. It's no secret that Rusev and Bobby Lashley are headed for a collision course at TLC 2019 but are there still a few twists left in the book in this dramatic saga?

#3. Charlotte Flair to get a little assistance before TLC

Kairi Sane hits the insane elbow
Kairi Sane hits the insane elbow

The last few weeks have been rough for Charlotte Flair. She hasn't been on the best run and SmackDown commentator Corey Graves bluntly said that Charlotte has never felt less relevant in her career than she is now.

Interestingly enough, Flair agreed and it's clear that she isn't in the best run of form. This is, of course, all a part of the game and every superstar has had dull phases. However, the numbers game hasn't been fair to Flair recently and last week, she was predictably defeated in a 2-on-1 handicap match.

There's no doubt that this week, they are going to cross paths again, but this time around, we expect things to be different. We expect Flair to get a little assistance from her bitter old rival - RAW Women's Champion Becky Lynch.

The Man hasn't been seen since Survivor Series and last week backstage, she said that she has a "debt to pay". We expect her to come out to help Flair and for that to set up a big Tag Team title match at TLC between Lynch & Flair against The Kabuki Warriors - Asuka and Kairi Sane.

#2. Rey Mysterio defends the United States Championship ahead of TLC

Tonight in what should presumably be the main event, we expect to see Rey Mysterio defend the United States Championship against AJ Styles in a rematch. What Styles has done to warrant the rematch, we're not too sure, especially since the days of immediate rematches are supposedly done.

However, that isn't the case here and tonight is going to be chaotic as we see the two go head-to-head. There's only one problem - there are a lot of other superstars involved between the two.

For one, there's the OC on the sidelines and Randy Orton who has recently restarted his beef with AJ Styles. Then we have Drew McIntyre possibly inserting himself in the picture, with Ricochet and Humberto Carrillo being allies of Mysterio yet also have their eyes on the prize.

We could see a potentially big title change in the match, but we expect chaos to descend in the ring and many men to be involved, potentially setting up a multi-man ladder match for TLC. Either way, Mysterio has a big task in his hands.

#1. What's happening with Seth Rollins and Kevin Owens and AoP?

What's brewing?
What's brewing?

Last week, we saw Seth Rollins' apology fall on deaf years. Kevin Owens was anything but accepting of it and he is rightfully wary and has to watch his back constantly with AoP looming. He even had a match against Lashley and once again found himself on the receiving end of a beating from the former NXT and RAW Tag Team Champions.

Meanwhile, the duo has suspiciously let Seth Rollins pass by them without saying a word, without any threat and certainly without any protest. Owens also understandably believes that AoP and Seth Rollins have some kind of an alliance brewing but Rollins has vehemently denied the allegation against him.

In our opinion, this has been the most interesting part of RAW by far and tonight, we go further in to potentially find out whether there's an actual alliance or not. Either way, Kevin Owens won't be silent about it and Rollins wouldn't outright admit it.

Something suspicious is happening and whether or not it leads to a TLC match, there's something far bigger potentially on the horizon. Stay tuned for our coverage of Monday Night RAW tonight, including live commentary, post-show results, and so much more!
