#5. Reason why Ted Dibiase Jr. quit WWE

Former WWE Tag Team Champion Ted Dibiase Jr. spoke on Insight with Chris Van Vliet. The former WWE Superstar talked about his time in WWE, why he had to quit the company and what role his father played in his decision to leave WWE.

Dibiase Jr. is the son of WWE legend Ted Dibiase who can be seen on WWE NXT. Dibiase Jr. left WWE in 2013 after turning down an offer for a five-year deal with WWE.

“I was battling some things internally. There were some mental health issues. I was going through depression and anxiety, and also being a new father. I just knew. What I didn’t have growing up, although I had this iconic father I love dearly, he wasn’t at my birthdays." DiBiase continued, "He also wasn’t there for my football or soccer games. I believe the greatest asset we have in our world is time.''

Ted Dibiase Jr. expressed how time is the most valuable asset and spending his time with his son was one of the greatest gifts he could give his son.

#4. Backstage details on Brock Lesnar injuring Randy Orton in WWE

Former WWE champions Brock Lesnar and Randy Orton had a match at SummerSlam in 2016. The match ended in a technical knockout - something very rare in WWE - after Lesnar bludgeoned Orton via elbow strike.

Though the match ending was not a shoot, it is widely believed that Lesnar went a tad bit too far with his repeated strikes to Orton's forehead busting him open. Speaking to James Romero of Wrestling Shoot Interviews, former WWE referee Mike Chioda revealed that Lesnar might have tried to purposely injure Randy Orton for personal reasons or because Orton had backstage heat at that point.

Brock gashed him open and I could tell there was something going on, but I didn’t know if it was really Brock towards Randy or if it was just Brock listening to what the office wanted him to do,” Chioda said. “Randy had a little bit of heat at that time. He gashed him open real bad over the forehead. You could tell he was going for it because he was just elbow to forehead. I was kind of shocked that they would do that because concussion protocol was still strong at that time.”

What do you think could be the reason for Brock Lesnar's vicious strikes to Randy Orton?

#3. Truth about Chad Gable's WWE contract

AEW wrestler Dax Harwood implied a few months back that WWE Superstar Chad Gable had just a few months left on his WWE contract. He also hinted that AEW is interested in bringing the former Olympian on board when he becomes a free agent.

However, Fightful Select have reported that Chad Gable still has a considerable amount of time left on his contract. So rumors of Gable potentially joining AEW could soon be laid to rest.

According to Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful Select, the tweet from Harwood was actually made "in jest," as Chad Gable has "plenty of time" remaining on his current WWE contract.

After floundering in the mid-card for years, Gable seems to have finally found his spotlight as part of The Alpha Academy along with Otis. The two men have joined hands and become one of the most powerful forces in the SmackDown tag team division.

What remains to be seen is whether WWE is merely using Gable to help get Otis over or if they have big plans for the former Tag Team Champion as well.

#2. Vince McMahon's reaction to botch on WWE SmackDown

Vince McMahon is usually never very elated when a botch happens in WWE. And a botch is what happened on an episode of WWE's SmackDown in 2019. R-Truth became a two-time US Champion by beating Shinsuke Nakamura - something that wasn't planned to happen, but the WWE chairman loved it.

Former WWE referee Mike Chioda revealed on James Romero of Wrestling Shoot Interviews how Vince McMahon reacted when R-Truth made a major botch in his match against Shinsuke Nakamura and ended up becoming the US Champion.

“Vince loved it,” Chioda said. “R-Truth tells me the wrong f***ing finish. ‘You said you were only getting schoolboyed once!’ And he was like, ‘Oh, my bad, dawg, I’m sorry, man.’ He had the US title or something, 24-hour title… US title, I think. So it was kind of funny. I thought I was gonna get a bunch of heat coming back and Vince was like, ‘That was phenomenal, I loved it!’ I’m like, ‘What? Okay, great.’”

The match won by R-Truth put an end to Nakamura's US Championship reign after only two days.

WWE icons AJ Styles and The Undertaker faced each other in the first-ever Boneyard match at WrestleMania 36. The match was also The Undertaker's final one as the phenom called it quits after his win against AJ Styles at WrestleMania.

Speaking on Ryan Satin's Out of Character podcast, former WWE Champion AJ Styles shared a heartwarming story about his gift to The Undertaker and Taker's response. Styles revealed that he gave The Undertaker a signed pair of his gloves.

“I called his wife [former WWE Superstar Michelle McCool] and I was like, ‘Hey, what does he want? Because I need to get him something,’” Styles said. “She was just like, ‘Hey, well, give him your gloves. That would mean a lot to him if you signed a glove.’ I was like, ‘Alright.’ Michelle hooked me up. Hopefully that was a gift that he enjoyed. He actually sent his gloves to me with a very nice thank you letter, which meant the world to me.”

In return, the Deadman also gave Styles a pair of signed gloves along with a heartfelt letter.
