There has been a lot of speculation as to when The Beast Incarnate will return to WWE. There have also been rumors suggesting that the former WWE Champion may be AEW-bound. We will be taking a detailed look at what is in store for Brock Lesnar and many other topics.

So without any further ado, let's dive in and take a look at some of the big stories of the day:

#5 WWE legend Triple H refused to lose to D'Lo Brown

Former WWE writer Vince Russo spoke to Smackbusters and talked about the time when he was in charge of writing. He remembered a time when former WWE Champion Triple H refused to job to D'Lo Brown.

It was during DX's feud with Nation of Domination that Russo wanted Triple H to put former IC Champion D'Lo Brown over. However, The Game refused despite having defeated D'Lo multiple times in the past:

''I remember one night at RAW, Triple H refused to put D'lo Brown over. First of all, if you know D'Lo, he's the nicest guy in the world. D'Lo is the nicest guy in the world, then all of a sudden Triple H didn't want to put him over and I remember turning to him and saying,'' said Russo. ''It was almost like D'lo was beneath him. Not in my eyes, he wasn't."

It is rumored that Triple H did not like losing to superstars he felt were not on his level. While many fans have often criticized Triple H for burying talent, it can not be denied that Triple H has also helped several younger talents get over.

#4 Is former WWE Champion Jeff Hardy being buried?

There has been a lot of speculation in regards to Jeff Hardy's future in WWE. Given his absence from WWE and recent loss at the hands of Jinder Mahal, there was speculation that Hardy is being buried by the company as he will be leaving soon.

The truth, however, is that Hardy still has 2-3 years left on his WWE contract. WrestlingNews.co have reported that the reason Jeff Hardy isn't being used prominently is because of WWE's new 'revolving' policy where some superstars will take the backbench while others get pushed:

"We are told that the change of theme music is still in the cards and he is not getting buried. We were told that WWE is simply rotating talent so some people will be moved to the backburner for now. This is essentially what happened with wrestlers like Angel Garza, Nikki Cross, and Humberto Carrillo. After being on the sidelines for months," reported WrestlingNews.co

Angel Garza had been sidelined for months before he started being featured prominently on RAW for the past few weeks. It looks like WWE are just waiting for the right time and storyline to start pushing Jeff Hardy again.

#3 Update on Brock Lesnar's WWE return plans

Former WWE Champion Brock Lesnar was last seen in action at WrestleMania 36. The Beast Incarnate was defeated by Drew McIntyre in less than 5 minutes in the main event of the show.

Though it was believed that Lesnar would return for WrestleMania 37, that did not happen. Now, Dave Meltzer of The Observer has stated that there is a high chance that The Beast Incarnate will be back for WWE's WrestleMania 38:

"I have not heard. I would think he would come back for WrestleMania. Umm, but he is not under contract, but I have not heard like he is not going to AEW. I mean, he is just not. Umm, but I suppose it's, I suppose it's possible, but I have not heard any whispers in that direction," noted Meltzer.

Despite rumors of AEW being interested in Brock Lesnar, Dave Meltzer has made it clear that there is no chance of the former Universal Champion joining AEW.

Initial reports had said that Vince McMahon is waiting for crowds to return to the arena before he re-signs Brock Lesnar to a major deal.

#2 Why Ric Flair agreed to a storyline with Lacey Evans in WWE

Before WWE's Lacey Evans got pregnant and had to take a sabbatical, she was in a controversial storyline with Ric Flair. Though WWE did not make it obvious, it was indicated that Flair and Evans were in a romantic on-screen relationship.

Speaking to ESPN MMA's Ariel Helwani, Ric Flair revealed why he said yes to the storyline featuring Lacey Evans and his daughter Charlotte Flair:

''The one thing I've learned is you're not gonna win a war when someone got their mind made up and she most definitely didn't like it. But you know, the one thing I can say about me is, I always said yes. Because I didn't wanna be that guy that was always going, 'Oh god, that isn't perfect for me,'' said Flair.

#1 Keith Lee WWE return update

Former NXT Champion Keith Lee has been missing from action for the past few months. Although he has tweeted cryptic messages hinting that he will return soon, it is not known when that will happen.

Dave Meltzer of WON (via CSS) has stated that Keith Lee is okay and the reason for his absence is that WWE has no plans for him:

When asked about Keith Lee’s current status, F4WOnline’s Dave Meltzer said, “He’s okay, but obviously he’s not being used.”

Keith Lee was allegedly supposed to win the US Championship at Elimination Chamber. However, Lee was replaced by John Morrison in the match and The Limitless One has not been seen since.
