As exciting as it is to be a sports entertainment journalist during what is probably the most exciting week in wrestling in quite some time, there's no respite at all either. RAW was a great show for sure, but now there's AEW, NXT, SmackDown on FOX, Impact and yes, Hell in a Cell this weekend lined up as well.
SmackDown on FOX is the one to watch out for I guess because for the first time since the brand was created, it's going to be the A-show, the one that Vince McMahon and Eric Bischoff will invest their energy into. RAW is going to be left in the capable hands of Paul Heyman, guided undoubtedly by the experience and the vision of Vince McMahon.
One thing you can be sure of is the fact that some major events are going to happen on WWE SmackDown. Let's begin with the news that's making waves right now- the return of The Rock.

#5 The Rock and Roman Reigns clear out The Bludgeon Brothers
The Rock is arguably the biggest movie star in the world, meaning it is extremely unlikely that he will be taking a bump when he shows up. But at the same time, it will be a waste of time if he is not involved in a physical segment on SmackDown Live. The best thing for him to do would be to have him show up and team up with Roman Reigns to take out Harper and Rowan.
I know that a lot of people would consider this a burial for The Bludgeon Brothers, but it really is not, I think. They are involved in a segment with The Great One, after all, and that's no mean feat.
#4 Ronda Rousey and the MMA Horsewomen destroy The Four Horsewomen
The big match this week that everyone is buzzing about concerns the four Horsewomen taking each other on in a big tag team match. But in a sense, WWE has booked themselves into a corner with this contest, as neither team can afford to take the loss on what is such a big stage. Could we potentially see a surprise that can change the dynamics of the women's division for good?
So, when Sasha Banks and Bayley take on Becky Lynch and Charlotte Flair, what if Ronda Rousey, Shayna Baszler, Marina Shafir and Jessamyn Duke were to come through the curtains and lay a beat down on the Horsewomen? Shafir and Duke have come a long way as performers, and while they may not be as good as Baszler, they can just be the muscle for now. The Four Horsewomen of MMA vs. The Four Horsewomen of WWE is a match that could potentially main event WrestleMania 36, and there's no better way to set the stage, than when this tag team match is underway.
If this angle were to happen, it could change the landscape of SmackDown on FOX for good, I believe.
#3 Rey Mysterio prevents a title change
The one thing from RAW that everyone is still buzzing about is the beatdown that Rey Mysterio took at the hands of Brock Lesnar, which Paul Heyman explained later happened because he was in 'Beast Mode' back then. One thing that we know of Rey Mysterio and his gimmick is the fact that the man does not back down from a challenge and toppling giants is something he truly thrives on.
So, what if Lesnar and Kofi Kingston are wrestling the match of their lives, and as one would expect, Brock Lesnar has the upper hand during the contest?! And then, when it seems like he has the match won, Rey Mysterio interferes and this results in Kofi Kingston losing the match by disqualification, meaning that he remains WWE Champion.
This will mean that Brock Lesnar will not be a happy camper and he will potentially chase after Rey Mysterio in what could potentially be the top storyline for SmackDown on FOX. But at least for the foreseeable future, the title will remain around the waist of a popular babyface and a full-time performer on SmackDown.
That should make a lot of people very happy.
#2 Liv Morgan returns in a brand new avatar
This is something that fans have been waiting for, for quite some time now. Liv Morgan promised us that we would get a glimpse of who she really was but she has been off TV for many weeks now. There have been many rumors that have been floating about including the theory that she's Rambling Rabbit based on some Tweets that she had sent out not long ago.
There will be no better stage for her to make a return than at SmackDown on FOX considering the fact that more eyes will be on the blue brand on this one fateful night, than in a really long time. So whether she returns as a member of the Wyatt Family or indeed as a brand new character, I'm sure she'll be the talk of the town, especially considering how much people have been buzzing about her.
Morgan has always had a fantastic look and her in-ring skills weren't the best in NXT, but she grew leaps and bounds under the learning tree of one Ruby Riott. Not it's her time to branch out and shine as a singles star. Or maybe as a part of the revamped Wyatt Family.
#1 McIntyre returns to help out Shane McMahon, Kevin Owens leaves
So, I know that everyone believes that Shane McMahon will be sent packing for good after SmackDown on FOX, but I have a feeling that we could be in for quite a swerve during the show. There's no way Shane McMahon is coming into the match without backup and I certainly have a feeling that Drew McIntyre will be the man who has Shane McMahon's back during the big contest.
So, when it looks like Kevin Owens has the match won, Drew McIntyre will step out and cost him the win. The predominant storyline could be to have Kevin Owens brought back into the mix over time, to end the tyranny of Shane McMahon for good.
As much as we all wanted Vince McMahon's reign of terror to end during the Attitude Era, what made it work was that it did not, and Stone Cold Steve Austin got over to the extent that he did because he fought against all odds. McIntyre's return is a big story and I have a feeling that he'll insert himself into the mix in a big way.
Maybe Owens goes to NXT then?
